Wow he's perfect.
Too bad I'll NEVER afford him in this lifetime... :( |
I will have this. I may have to wait till my birthday but it will mine. What i want to know is where/how much is metal.
|
Perfection. Simply perfection.
|
30000? Nice. I was hoping for it to be around that price. Now it will definitely be mine.
|
I think my heart needs a moment to recover because that is just stunning.
|
It's so beautiful ;_;
Even if I never own one, I'm glad that this exist. Such a nice piece of toy robot. |
I mean seriously.
This is like a Masterpiece figure. It's as close to perfect as you can get. |
Introducing "Legacy" Megazord II
Okay so it's not, but hey it could be re-worked for combination between Dragonzord & Titanus for the eventual American release. :) |
It is everything I ever dreamed it would be... :D
...now, where's Dragon Caesar? ;) |
I farted in excitement. Holy Crap!! This goes beyond how I imagined.
|
That thing is beautiful. Too bad I will never be able to afford him.

Looks fucking great.
I don't have the dough, but it still looks great~ |
It's so glorious it hurts.
I just shot my legacy Megazord the most disappointed look ever. |
what are those sections above the Tyrannosaurus knees though? What purpose do they serve?

Its up for preorder! I'm so excited for this release. Finally, a Megazord with articulation and full transformability. |
Is this gonna be a normal retail release? Hoping to pick this up at either HLJ or NY
|
I hope the Triceratops and Saber-Tooth Tiger Dinozords have actual wheels like the original Deluxe Megazord from 1993 instead of fake wheels from the 2010 remake.

I wonder if they'll release a Black/Gold version for another $300, lol

Just like I said when first shown at the other con $300 not including shipping and tax which will make it cost $350 and up.
And I have to guess just how long will the diecast joints hold up hmm? Like I said before not many people will be buying this and it proven with the comments in this thread because of the price. |

Bandai isn't making these to sell at places like Wal-Mart and this forum is a very small percentage of people trust me this and Go-Lion*two of the 3 most iconic giant robos in the States* will make Bandai money here. And as far as SOCs go 300$ for 5 combining robots isn't outrageous both Voltes V and Gaogaigar released at that price and God Mars,Trider G7 and Daitarn 3 were 220-250 when they came out. |

I don't think a black and gold repaint is likely, but it certainly isn't "just not possible". |

He's already up for pre-order over at AmiAmi and HLJ!
http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/det...23215&page=top http://hlj.com/product/bann05218 HLJ is a bit cheaper since AmiAmi ramped up the MSRP before applying the discount, again. EDIT: Tamashii also has a special product page up which includes goodies like concept art among the pictures of the figure we've already seen: http://tamashii.jp/special/daizyujin/ |
Just pre-ordered mine.
... just need to sell my legacy one now lol :o |

If I were able to buy this SoC version, he would be displayed with those two when they are separated and then I would have the other one when they are combined. I just wish they would show us what type of poses he could be displayed in in the pictures. |
Why does Bandai have to make these things so expensive?
|
Quote:
I just don't think Bandai would want to release a $300 toy for a second time. And the other robots you talk about are more popular then Sentai and that's why they got another release. |
Quote:
a) Saves them money from re-using the molds b)Is made to order, so they don't have any copies sitting around c)appeals to completionists, who would buy it to have it |

Daizyujin is popular for its role in Power Rangers so it has a much bigger base to pull from than any of those other SoC releases Its gonna sell, and you can keep whining all you want, won't change the fact. Moreover, look at the effort Bandai is putting into marketing this, with the two step reveal of the individual modes months ago and the combined mode at NYCC it's gonna be an international success because its iconic, and we've never had ANY sentai release with THIS much effort put into it, in design AND marketing its not just some cheapass "premium" job by a hack company, Bandai has experience. I mean, they have the whole fucking Soul of Chogokin line so yeah, you don't know what you're talking about but you keep going on and on with your same lame premise that this is "too expensive" and "redundant" your posts are free but truly redundant get the fuck out of this thread since you aren't adding anything new to it. your weak position has been well known, no one respects it, you aren't convincing anynone |
