I think that's a cool idea. If they can really get all the actors back and let them actually have a place in the story I would be thrilled.

It's a Taisen movie though, so if I'm realistic I’d expect Wizard, Gaim and Drive to pop out of a portal during the last 10 minutes of the movie (with the Zyuohgers) and they fight alongside Ghost & Ex-Aid in the final battle without saying a single word.

I am most definitely sure that these Riders are probably just going to be a miracle caused by the Legend Rider Eyecon's that Ghost has in his possession. Just like in Fourze and Wizard.

That being said, Pacman? Bring it on!

Oh boy! This is going to be fun. I hope the actors for Drive, Gaim, and Wizard actually make an appearance. It woudce much cooler if they got Double, Fourze, and OOO.

Why is everything associated with ex-aid incredibly weird concept wise? And why is it generating so much hype?

Sure is interesting compared to the majority of these movie taisen films.
Probably the most unexpected guest appearance since Gavan VS Gokaiger.
Now my question is will they bring back Shunya, Gaku, and Ryoma for some senpai rider time.

Still though, Pac-Man makes sense. Hopefully somebody does a parody dub of this called Pixels 2.

I can't believe that I forgot that Bandai owns the rights to Pac-Man. Having a canon Pac-Man in Kamen Rider is one of the craziest yet most brilliant moves that I've ever seen. Can't wait for when the movie war is out on DVD (which will be a long time from now).

Also, I guess the orange-yellow form that we saw on set is either Dr. Pac-Man or a Pac-Man form for Ex-Aid. Either way, extremely excited!

If Ex-aid was a year earlier perhaps as the Wii U's pretty much dead and the 3DS version won't get Mystery Mushrooms

This is pretty weird but it looks great. Hopefully the actors from wizard, gaim and drive are back too

So are they ditching the Movie War title?

If they actually get Haruto and Shinnosuke back for this I will be really, really happy. I'm hoping it isn't just suit-only cameos.

I just realized something. If Ghost gets killed by Pac-Man, that means the guy is Kenny, he keeps fucking dying

Wow, that actually makes sense. Takeru is the kenny of the Kamen Rider Franchise. Maybe that's how Takeru turns into a ghost again.

All I know is that a ton of non-Rider fans are going to catch wind of this movie because of Pac-man, and I'm not sure how they're going to view the whole thing. Should be interesting to watch.

So now that this is happening, I have one very important question to ask.

Will the Summer movie involve Segata Sanshiro?

If the returning Rider's actors came back, that would be fantastic. I doubt it though given Gaim is in his normal form, and they only do that when its only his suit. Unless they plan on depowering Kouta again.

I want a Kamen Rider Pacman now. I hope to god that's the case. It's awesome they got Pac man for this movie and hopefully the news will give Rider greater exposure since Pac Man is a popular character in the gaming community.

Movie War, though, so most people are right on the money that everyone before Ghost will probably have a combined total of 4 lines.
I also anticipate a Zyuohger cameo (Or whatever current team is around).

Huh, Pacman really is an odd choice. If anything I was expecting some Nintendo characters to be the ones to crossover.
Still, I'm down for this, bring on the insanity.

It would make sense, but remember that Nintendo is very protective of their characters and brands. Purchasing a license would be very expensive, and they are not really willing to lend their top-selling characters for this kinda stuff anyways.

Meanwhile, Bandai owns Namco, Namco owns Pac-Man. They don't need to pay anything for a license because they already have it.

Also it helps that Pacman is probably the most iconic videogame character.

So we're getting a Bubsy Parka? How about Digihom Arms, Type Sky and Comcept style? :p

And Bandai already has a deal with Toei for the toys and stuff, so I am sure it is much easier to get a different branch of a company you already work with to use their character then Nintendo.

Bandai Namco already owns the rights to Pac Man, so it's way easier to use him instead of someone from Nintendo.

Nintendo wouldn't have given them the rights easily, not without paying a pretty penny for them. Pac Man is just as iconic as Mario, so it's the most logical choice even if it does seem odd on paper.

Can I just say that I don't think Pac-Man is the most iconic character anymore? Mario is just as widespread to the older generation and, unlike Pac-Man, keeps his relevancy with newer generations.

Also, they should've asked for Pokemon. Ghost in a Pikachu parka, Wizard with a Charizard ring, Gaim (Or Baron) with a Tropius lockseed. It would've been easy~

Except Pokemon is also technically a Nintendo propriety so we're running into the same problem as getting the rights to Mario.

So PacMan is in Kamen Rider now? Okay then. I'll roll with it.

That's the joke.

Nintendo only PARTIALLY owns the Pokemon brand, the people who own most of it are the Pokemon Company, and they're VERY strict with their IP. Pokemon amiibo rarely do anything because of them and they sued a guy for having a pokemon themed party. And I'd argue PacMan is a better choice than Mario, as Ex-Aid is about retro gaming, where Mario only had a few games, yet PacMan fever was everywhere

This is cool. I like it. Wish it wasn't in the yearly crossover with last year's show though. Those movies lack focus already.

I am hoping that this is a taste of things to come and the spring super hero movie is something like Kamen Rider vs. Bandai Namco. In addition to Pac Man, Bandai Namco's first party games include the Tales of series, Soulcalibur, Xenosaga (only saga), Tekken, .hack, Katamari Damacy, and others I'm forgetting. There's fun to be had here.


PS My wish list does include Watermelon Arms vs. a Katamari.
