Kamen Rider ExAid Q2 Catalog Teasers
No pics yet but some early translations-
*Genm uses a different Driver, his Gashacon Bugvisor weapon is actually his transformation device- using the Bugster Buckle. His next upgrade is the Dangerous Zombie Gashat. *ExAid's next form will be "Double Action Gamer LV XX R/L" using the Mighty Brothers XX Gashat. He will be armed with the Gashacon Key Slasher. *Rider #6 is "Kamen Rider Paradox." He uses the Gashacon Gear Dual and has 2 forms- Puzzle Gamer or Fighter Gamer. |
So Genm's transformation device is his bugvisor? But then why is he wearing a Gamer driver then? Unless it allows him access to use two gashats at once outside of his transformation one.

It also looks like it's actually going pretty heavy into a Ghost-esque lineup with the "secondary" Rider not getting the second belt in the line and instead getting some other type of transformation device like Necrom did. That is assuming the Gear Dual isn't a belt. Sure doesn't sound like one. |
What I appreciated about Ex-Aid was the simplicity of it. Everyone had the same driver, same level up system with a level 1, 2, and 3. Now there are new drivers, new levels with X and XX. Genm gets a new driver that was originally his weapon. I really don't see what was wrong with his Gamer Driver. Although it's pretty boring to some, I enjoyed the Level Up system and was hoping they would just keep adding a number to it with every form.

Okay if Parad is going to be Kamen Rider Paradox. That's means Genm is Dan Kuroto himself! But why Dan would attack the good guys despite of giving his technology to them.
It not like if he was "Hey guy, I'm Genm after all and I have no good reason of why I attack you even though I supples your guys stuff!" Dan need a reason of doing this |

He must be like Kiyaba/Heathcliff from Sword Art Online. But no way for him to be like Wesker. |
Seriously don't get your hopes up. The source for all this seems to be an anonymous post on 2chan which is more than likely made to be up. The same thing happened with the rumors several days ago about "Kamen Rider Escher" and "Kamen Rider Witch" and things like that.

It's true that we should take all rumors with a grain of salt until scans come around, seeing TC source Crane Joe is the main thing that had me thinking it's legit, since he's been accurate before. If it didn't actually come from him though, it is likely to be made up. (which would be a shame tbh). |

As far as I know somebody posted these rumors without a source on 4chan, and then they said the source was 2chan and that's it. Really hope it's true, although to me it does sound a bit suspicious. |
I definitely feel that Parad is Kamen Rider Paradox for the obvious reasons of his name is Parad which is in Paradox and his personality being called Full of Paradox. Also he talked about puzzles and has Tetris-designed pants.
|
I'm so glad I was wrong.
http://i.imgur.com/dXhDxya.jpg Genm Zombie Gamer using the Bugle Driver is the silver. The black armor with multicolored highlights is Drago Knight Hunter Z (Hunter Gamer). The armor transforms into a dragon mecha. Orange and teal is Double Action Gamer. The orange one is LV XX R and the teal one is LV XX L. Don't quote me on this, but I think Emu actually splits into two bodies for this. http://i.imgur.com/Br7axi7.jpg Double Action's weapon. Gashacon Key Slasher, if I recall. Enter codes to activate an attack. The Mighty Brothers XX Gashat is the size of two Gashats, so the weapon can also take two Gashats. http://i.imgur.com/IB366ed.jpg Kamen Rider Paradox, Fighter Gamer LV50 and Puzzle Gamer LV50. Uses the Gashacon Gear Dual to henshin, which can also be used in the Gamer Driver. He has a holder for it that activates a finisher like the Kimewaza slot. Turn the dial left, "Knock Out Fighter!" Turn the dial right, "Perfect Puzzle!" Genm uses the Dangerous Zombie Gashat, if you insert it into the Bugvisor and press a button it says "Danger! Danger! Death the Crisis! Dangerous Zombie!" The Bugvisor attached to the Bugster Buckle says "Buckle Up! Gachon!" http://i.imgur.com/KYei4Mm.jpg There's a case that holds up to 11 Gashats, plus the Legend Rider Gashats as named in the news post. Double Action's LVUR gimmick is that two figures combine into one chibi. |
Love these new forms and Kamen Rider Paradox too. Especially Ex-Aid's new form, he's my favorite football team's colors. =)
|
Wow ok.
Kind of really disappointed to find out this is what the Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat ended up looking like. The mock-up art in the first catalog was so much fancier and cooler. This is kinda lame. I do really like the fact that the armor looks like it splits up so that several of them can use it at once. The big cartoon dragon head looks kinda dumb though imo. And Chambara Bike is probably gonna end up looking better than Hunter Bike. Oh well. At least Lazer has more options for limbs. Anyway...god damn does the rest of this look fab. Provided none of this changes from the art to the show... Zombie Gamer is beautiful. The Bugster Buckle is in fact Graphite's so hey. His chances of being GENM have shot up. Love it. Also absolutely in love with Double Action. Teal and orange will always be a winning combination, and the hair, the doubling up for the Level X. Holy fuck do I love it. Paradox also looks really good. Both forms have a lot of personality. I don't think the Double Gear looks amazing but it's fine. I wonder how they're gonna make it work for the LVUR figure. Probably really badly. The case looks really good. I want it. And PGR also looks interesting. I was thinking this may be the case, but this black and gray version of the Gashat...we saw the other 8 non-MAX ones in the same way for that one Poppi Pipopapo's room video or whatever. Will those see release? Anyway, interesting. Juju Burger is kinda weird. It's got weird colors and not even a hint at a form or anything. Some kinda promotional Gashat? And the Rider ones...fulfilling my greatest fear. Crappy stock photos for the handles...meh. But eh, I still want 'em. Hopefully the lights are cool, and the sounds obvs. A thing or two are kinda eh but all in all this more than exceeded my expectations. Loving everything. Gonna be spending so much money... |
Paradox, Drago Knight and Genm Zombie looks very cool.
Ex-Aid Mighty Bros looks okay. The half colored remind me to Kamen Rider W. |
Dragon Knight (heh) looks kinda clunky but cool at the same time
Genm Zombie looks cool as shit, fitting how the virus gets a form of something that PLAGUES media Double Action makes me think of Den-O, W and Wizard all at once Paradox looks pretty neat too, love how nerdy Puzzle looks |
Hmm...in my opinion:
- Drive Gashat is racing car video game (similar with Lazer's Bakusou Bike Gashat) - Gaim Gashat is samurai-themed video game (like Lazer's GiriGiri Chanbara Gashat) - Wizard Gashat is magic or fantasy RPG video game (like Brave's Taddle Quest Gashat) - Fourze Gashat is space adventure video game - OOO Gashat is jungle and wild animal-themed video game - W Gashat is detective video game |
I just noticed it looks like the Buggle Driver is designed in such a way that the Zombie Gashat's graphic flips around. It's doing a creepy little zombie walk. That's fantastic.
|
Little disappointed by Dragon Hunter, but ah well. Its function in the show might be cooler than I'm seeing here.
Does Double Action split Ex-Aid into two Riders when he levels up from 1 to 2? That's what the light effects in the Driver seem to imply; interesting. Zombie GENM tastes like Machine Chaser. The effects with that new Gashat in the Bugvisor look pretty clever, though. I think Paradox's suits might be my favorites so far, but man. Way to make a bulky Driver even more ridiculously Bulky with the Gashacon Gear there. Kind of interesting how you're able to slot one entire Henshin device INTO the other, though. |
Paradox really similar to Necrom because Paradox's Gashat has unique concept like 3 Necrom Ghost Eyecons (Necrom, Grimm, and Sanzo)
|
Well, I see the Machin Chaser concept still lives on.
|
Genm's new form is pretty cool, I just wish he was still using the Gamer Driver. Ex-Aid is not bad, it's just a really strange mix of colors. Paradox is eh. I wonder if he will be a hero or villain. I don't even know what to say about the dragon form.
|
The squares on XX remind me of a Rubik'scube so I thought that was Puzzle for a minute.
Still not sure how I feel about the way the show looks, still feel like the 90s threw up all over Emu but the show so far has my attention. |
Thank god, the Legend Rider Gashats are the same uninspired shit as every year; if they actually printed some good artwork with fictional game titles for each series on there I would've been tempted to buy all of them.
|
I just hope Genm is Pallad.
|
Anyone else feel we're missing a page for Hunter?
|
Whoa, check out that black case. So many carts.
|
I really love how they are trying new things color-wise.
Double Action Ex-Aid is my fav so far. |
I'm interested in Hunter Gamer. Based on the name, a small part of the design and the concept the armor can become a dragon mecha, I'm intrigued to see it in motion. I assume it's based on Monster Hunter, and I like designs like that a lot. Hopefully it doesn't suffer from CG budget syndrome, and they still use the armor at least.
Mashin Chaser... I mean upgraded Genm (still have no idea how to pronounce it) doesn't look great, but I assume it'll look better once we see the actual suit. I like the idea of him ditching the Driver but for what reason? Paradox isn't doing anything for me at the moment. I like you can insert the double Gasaht into the driver while it's also it's own transformation device. Double Action Gamer really threw me for a loop. My idea of it was that the 1st Ex-aid would retain his normal color scheme and get some more armor, and the 2nd Ex-Aid would be green. Well I was right on the second Ex-aid being Green. Good lord that orange though. And now the stupid Level 1 face is on their shoulders now. |
Double Action X have a cool colors I guess (Orange and Teal)
Man! They finally have me try to figure out of who is Gemn! Dan? Parad? Graphite?! If Dan was Gemn, Is he try to kill himself with this dangerous Zombie gashat?! Dan is crazier than Takatora! Dan really want to kill good guys despite giving his technology to them which make NO SENSE! If he was fighting them because he want to test them, Why would he use that gashat to become ZOMBIE! "Hey guys, I will become zombie so that not only this one will make me more powerful but it will also kill me too" LOL Kamen Rider Paradox look unique I think Dragon Hunter remind me of those Red Rangers' Armor.... maybe |
With these scans, I hope we see new sentai stuff. It probably is in there, but they don“t want us to see it.
|
So Ex-Aid's getting a Key Blade GOSH DNGIT SQUARE IS GOING TO TAKE OVER TOKU NOW

I swear they made the Double Action color scheme just to make me realize that I prefer the base Ex-Aid color scheme, which are words I never thought I'd type.
On the one hand, most of the designs strike me as too busy, and most (but not all) of the color combinations strike me as unfortunate, but I love how crazy it all continues to be, as well as that the toys don't give away *too* much about what'll happen in the show. I mean, it's Kamen Rider: there will be upgrades and too-chunky belt attachments and additional Riders. Zombie Genm looks great, even though now that many of you have pointed out the Mashin Chaser resemblance, I can't unsee it. Dragon Hunter looks bonkers, and I'm curious about the nature of its compatibility with Brave, Snipe, and Laser. The Gashacon Key Slasher looks to me like the statistical average of the Gashacon Breaker and Brave's and Snipe's weapons. Aesthetics aside, I have some functional concerns about the limitations the even-clunkier belts and insane shoulderpads (on Ex-Aid Double Action) will impose on fight sequences. And, heck, on the articulation of any related Figuarts. Actually, I wonder how soon we'll see a solicitation for Ex-Aid Gamer Level 2, and how hard Bandai is willing to tackle figures for a multi-Rider show now that Figuarts is juggling so many other properties. |
Ex-Aid still looks nothing like a Karate Bugman.
|
A fun little detail I noticed, Ex-Aid's chest when using XX shows the Key slasher in addition to the Breaker's two forms
|
Quote:
Anyway, speaking of fun little details, the Gear Dual is called the Gear Dual. Which I mean. Yeah. But I was thinking it was a little odd that it had the GD for Gamer Driver on its label, considering that although it can work with it it's designed to work on its own. But its name is also GD so...can work either way. Probably less a notable detail and more me being obtuse but...eh. |
I assume Paradox is the Black Ex-aid?
There's just something very mad max about that form. |
Some really cool stuff coming up in the 2nd quarter. Bandai is getting some serious milage from the kaban case mold, first Fourze, then Kyoryuger, now Ex-Aid. Zombie Genm looking similar to Mashin Chaser is not a bad thing, I like it and it was a great design. And I'm also bummed that Drago Hunter Z doesn't look as cool as the concept art, maybe I'll custom paint it. I'm looking forward to the Legend Rider Gashats, since only W thru Drive are up for release, I assume the Kuuga thru Decade will be premium web exclusive.

I feel like the writers want us to think Paradox is Parad but are going to trick us and reveal he is not Paradox
