Haven't yet caught up with the current ones but I'm looking forward to MMPR Black.
On his instagram is also a test shot of MMPR Yellow holding daggers. So maybe we'll be getting a weapon pack (I hope)?

After the MMPR rangers were released with just the Blade Blasters in their untransformed modes, I kind of gave up on hoping to see the actual, interesting weapons.

Wait, where's MMPR Yellow? That's my favourite original ranger costume. :(

The heck. If she got shoved out to fit in the green ranger that sucks. Plus, now it'll take even longer to build the MMPR Megazord. Bandai really doesn't get the concept of build-a-figures.

At least the pistols can actually be used as weapons, the blade blasters in that form are literally useless. They're not blades or blasters, they're only good for being holstered.

If weapons packs come along, I hope we get extra hands as well, given that the figures are designed with swappable hands in mind.

And I gave up on this line because now every figure is incomplete except the damn Green Ranger which I don't even want.

Also, Space Yellow's legs look pulverized.

Why does every possibly great line get screwed over? The ranger sthemselves are easily the best ranger figures BOA has made, yet the moronic decision to exclude the weapons and the bizzare splitting up of teams is for sure going to kill this line.

The team splitting is already killing me, since the BAF Astro Megazord looks great...

Even though it'd make less sense, if the Megazords were wave specific, not series specific, that'd be better than this.

But instead this line's momentum is grounded to a halt right out of the gate unless you just want Ninjastorm. No team is instantly complete, and only the ninja storm Megazord is buildable.

I can only hope future waves will fix this, but there's rumours even Zeo's going to be mercilessly split apart to fit in the missing ninja rangers and silver space.

What a shitshow. Agaian, they got the figures themselves so right, especially compared to their past efforts.

Do the PRIS rangers not even come with their holsters?

They're probably just not visible, could've sworn they had them on display. EDIT: Yup, they have 'em. You can just barely see Andros' next to the blaster under the carboard border.

I thought about buying the Ninja Storm ones because they're the only ones where you can build the Megazord right now. This whole not giving us complete Megazord sets thing is really annoying and I agree it might kill the line. Marvel Legends releases give us a complete BAF every wave, why can't PR do the same?

Plus Marvel Legends are complete packages even without the BAF.

Yeah, same here. I was thrown off, because the SDCC Red Ranger came with his sword, so I had just assumed the regular one did too. I found him in the store and inspected the heck out of the package and was like "...that's it?"

I mean, I don't even see the point when there's no weapons, since the folded blade blaster is useless. I don't get what kinda thought went into these. I guess the build-a-zord parts take up most of the budget, and I was interested in it, but it's not worth it when I'm getting (what I consider to be) incomplete Rangers.

That's what really confuses me, is that weapon moulds exist, clearly.

Next Q&A I want someone to ask BOA just what was the reasoning behind the lack of weapons.

You're right, not sure where I got that idea from. He's strongly hinted in the comments that weapons will be available. But if not with Yellow I hope they won't be with other random figures and will be available as a pack or something. A combining feature would be cool.

I was out on this line from the start because they're just so huge next to Figuarts. I get that they're meant to work with Marvel Legends, but I was personally hoping that they'd be slightly more muscular Figuarts. The size plus the lack of personal weapons makes me kinda hate this line.

I feel like it's an unrealistic expectation to have these scaled to Figuarts. That scale is pretty uncommon in NA lines.

Maybe the white ranger will have them?

I'd honestly be okay with a weapons pack, but I would prefer if the sixth ranger of each team had them. At least that way I still get them with the figures.

Yeah makes sense with White Ranger. I'd certainly get a separate pack if that's all they were available in but I suppose a pack-in with figure would help sell more.

Plus that way you're not spending more money than you should.

I don't think we are getting the weapons. Hey if we do we do. But seeing as how they haven't been including them with the other series. I just don't think they are going to do it. cheaper to make the few molds then one for every weapon. The white ranger will get his sword. Bet the Gold ranger will get his staff.

Except the weapons moulds do exist. Red's sword got to he NYCC exclusive treatment, and there's pics of prototype MMPR yellow with the daggers.

I didn't notice until he pointed it out, but Blue, Black and Pink have silver belts not only on his copies, but in the photos in this thread. That's really strange.
