Bluefin Tamashii Hints At Power Ranger SH Figuarts For 2013
 

Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA posted a rather interesting status update on Facebook, which alludes to SH Figuarts Power Rangers for next year.....

2013 looks promising; maybe a power rangers figuarts poll in the future ;D

Note that next year is the 20th anniversary of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! Stay tuned...

To be honest, just keep Dragonranger/MMPR Green off the poll. It's highly wanted, and it's the obvious one, and if Power Rangers figuarts were made, he's the thing that immediately comes to mind with most people.

I want stuff that won't ever be done by Sentai SHFs. MMPR: The Movie, Titanium Ranger, even Battlizers.

all im scared about is, with all this expensive things things next year... i hope they do well or bandai will make even cheaper stuff

On the Dragon Shield and armbands, do you think it would work better as something that can be interchanged or should there be two versions of Green, Red and Black, one with the shield and one without?

MMPR would be the only sentai figuarts I'd buy. Its hard to complete teams but I'd give an arm and both legs for these guys!

Between potential mmpr figuarts and dbz figuarts my wallets already starting to cry. BUT OH ITS WORTH IT!

Get Burai on the poll, and if we get the dragon shield, Geki with dragon shield! I want Mammoth ranger Gooushi too!

If this happens, Bluefin will have become much more than Brofin.

While it'd be more convenient for them to be interchangeable, those versions of Red and black will probably end up being Tamashii Web exclusives. *sigh*

I guarantee the shield will not be removable. Anyone else wearing it will be an exclusive.. Although with the 20th anniversary, they'll most probably be brought over to the US for the regular price anyway, so there's not much to worry about there (besides having to buy multiple figures). But considering even Super Shinken Red sold pretty poorly, I don't think we'll be seeing them milking the variations.

Ehh, MMPR Figuarts is an excellent prospect but I can't say they're super-high on my want list. I guess its because I've always considered them inevitable that this news doesn't excite me that much.

Zeo Figuarts on the other hand is a different matter entirely :lol

For that very reason I see it being interchangable. Because Super Red sold poorly, it would be easier just to make the shield removeable. Along with the binders. And since they'd all be made pretty much the same, you could use Green's playing hands with all of them. So they could all play the dragon flute.

Same here. Dragon Ranger has even been near the top of several popularity polls in Japan. Zyuranger and Dairanger were always going to be made before long and I doubt the decision had much to do with Power Rangers.

I still don't think so. It wouldn't look as good, because it would have to be able to detach and they can still make money if/when they choose to release the other characters as exclusives. There are some people who'd buy them and it'd require literally no new parts to manufacture.

God knows the only chance of that happening is through Power Rangers, as IIRC, Ohranger nearly killed the damn brand.

It amazes me that people could be dreading TWEs in a topoic about Bluefin maybe getting some MMPR Figuarts going. Have we not been paying attention to what they've been doing for DBZ?

I think its fair to say they have a lot more control over what they can do with DBZ though.

The US is the primary market for DBZ. It's a tiny market for Sentai, hence why they didn't have anything new to display or announce here. I think we're lucky to see any come over at all and chances are rather than Zyuranger figurarts, they're just talking about Bouken and Deka Red coming over, hopefully with the rest of their teams too. Which at least means cheaper exclusives.

As long as they are actual Figuarts and not just with Figuart styling, I don't care either way.

If Burai is made the dragon shield will most likely be mold separately. Cheaper for Bandai since they can just reuse the body from other Zyuranger Figuarts with just aa new head and shield for Burai.

Not really, but I have been paying attention to the fact that they're releasing frigging Black Condor.
