It's pretty cool! I like that this weird little show Ishinomori burped up is still respawning decades later.

Would be cool if Shout! Factory to release GoRanger on DVD and Blu-Ray, but that will be a very long time before that happens.

I wish stuff like this had English subs. Same with the original Kamen Rider.

Unrelated, but I always forget that this didn't come out at the same time as Kamen Rider. It aired alongside Kamen Rider Stronger.

KIT Subs have about forty four episodes of the original Kamen Rider subbed. And Rampage subs did 53 of the 84 episodes of GoRanger.

I'm curious to see which group will take up the mantle of grabbing this and doing the subs for it. I'd like for an official GoRanger sub to be released during an Anniversary thing, but if a group subs the new encodes, that'd be awesome too.

I'm aware of the fansubs, I meant the blu-ray releases. It'd be really cool to own, or at least have the option to import it make sense...

KIT has been at 44 episodes for like two years now it seems. I've given up on them for the time being until there is just a giant batch torrent.

I've gotta catch up on Rampage as it seems like they were moving quite quickly on their subs.

Well, since OverTime aren't doing Ex-Aid (KIT co-subbed Ghost), pretty sure KIT will be back to Kamen Rider this coming year after a little break.

We can only hope...

Is this Region locked? I'd like to see this again, because the Kuro Jujigun were the first Sentai Villains, and the first always have something classic to themselves no matter how goofy they seem. The Masked Monsters and operatives look cheap compared to older tokusatsu, even Kamen Rider Stronger which aired alongside Gorenger, but they would be easy to reproduce for the same reason. This is the background to Gokaiger Goseiger 199 and the recurring Baseball Mask, so give it a chance if you haven't considered it, Variblune really has a good theme song! Hope PR takes advantage and gives this team some love one day!

It's be Region A, whcih is the same region as the US. However, it won't have subs and each volume will probably cost you $300.

That's kinda a pity. I know someone who would sub it eagerly if there were japanese captions around.

Why Region A? If it's meant for the Japanese-related Markets, wouldn't it follow their particular Region setting?

P.S.: If it is suitable for U.S. Region A, it be worth considering as Shout! will take a virtual eternity to reach this level of release! Preferable if someone reviews the set and posts the required elements of that review so others can follow the settings. ALL ASSUMING IF THE PRICE GOES DOWN AFTER THE FACT CAUSE THIS IS TOO HIGH TO AFFORD RIGHT NOW!!!

Japan is region A.

As Zeo has said, Japan is Region A. It's the exact same Region A as the US. As for the price coming down, it's pretty unlikely. Most of the Japanese Blu-ray releases I've checked out have gone up. A lot of their stuff seems to go out of print a lot faster than titles do over here. These releases likely won't just sit around and end up in a bargain bin somewhere.

Thought there were conflicts in the past over Region locking? Doesn't matter, but can U.S. residents order direct from Japanese retailers and how severe is the shipping?

Blu-ray regions are different from DVD regions. In the case of Blu-rays, the US and Japan both ended up in Region A. There is nothing to lock, internally. It's the same standard. As for shipping, that's going to vary from retailer to retailer like toys and collectibles do. I don't know how much these are going to weigh, honestly, so I can't really estimate.

Yeah, Japan and the US share the same BD region code. THat's why most anime these days have the subtitles locked onto the Japanese track.
