Least old OOO changed appearance when he switched forms. Wizard just changes colors, and gets a slight mask adjustment. I think it's the same thing that happened with Go-Bust. Which shall be what I call it from now on.

Toei went all out for Fourze, and Gokaiger, and now there's nothing left for The Wiz and Go-Bust. So they just started throwing stuff together.

I fail to see this. Sure Fourze's forms are more varied, but from the looks of it Wizard'll have a decent bit more. Hell, from this picture alone, Wizard has as many forms as Fourze and Meteor(in show at least).

Mid season. Definitely.

Yeah and these are only his initial forms. We've already seen these 8 and the show hasn't even started yet. My instincts tell me they'll be at least 2 or 3 more.

Well I think it can be assumed the yellow form (gotta start learning the names...) will have a powered up version as well.

Let me use OOO as an exmaple of what I mean by Lazy. OOO has many varied forms, like The Wiz. Changes color, like The Wiz. But Wizman only changes color, and his helmet changes very subtly. Where OOO, and even Fourze, change in radical ways. Nothing subtle about a rocket punch, nothing subtle about growing dinosauric wings and a tail. Lazy.

One of the reasons is that, yes. The final Mech form looks like someone let their two year old go graze with parts, and super glue, and said "Go Nuts". It's also alot of other things. It's like Toei decided to take a vacation and let the interns design new series'.

So then I guess Kuuga, Agito, Faiz, Kiva, and W are lazy too?

well if u think of it story line wise, it works perfectly. the organization made gobusteroh, that was it in there minds. but now they need more power, so now they need to make another mech. they wanna combine them, so they have to use the combination points that alredy exist

Kiva and W were atleast original concepts. Kiva's goth designs, and W's two Rider combined idea.

And don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying I don't think Wizard will be good, and I'm not saying that I don't like Wizard. Aside from him needing to stroke himself to Henshin, and call on his power. That is goofy. I'm sorry, it just is.

I'm just saying they could've done more then just change his color and a little change to his helmet. They could've went nuts, and they didn't, and that's a shame.

Think of it this way: With most given Sentai series, we'd get 5 designs for 5 different senshi before the show airs. Often the only difference between these 5 designs are the helmets, colors, and whether or not there's a skirt. With Wizard, we've gotten 7 designs so far, differences including different helmets, different colors, different chest plates(you have to look kinda hard, but they are different), and with these 3 new designs, different everything. This time last year with Fourze, we only had a couple forms and a bunch of ridiculous weapons.

Yeah, this is definitely some early Heisei style alternate forms.

honestly not a bad thing...though damn would have loved to see this guy in dark purple and black...plus these are all base states, money is he will start to combine them and will be different colors. He doesn't have to have a different form and/or helmet...I bet the figuarts will have swappable color plating and effect part kits...

Swappable plates? That's really more so in SIC's bag.

Well I was thinking like that one Den-O figure is that you can change his forms..

no..just one...with a lot of booster parts like Fourze had...each form will have it's own powers after all, so they would have to have their own effects...like that one image of the Giant hand for example...

Reminds me a lot of Kuuga's Rising forms, which is not necessarily a bad thing but not sure if I like it.

But when he changed forms, he actually changed forms. And I keep coming back to OOO. Coinman when he changed forms completely changed. You knew, straight on, he powered up. I shouldn't have to take a magnifying glass to the picture to see some two inch indent they made in his chest, to make it seem different.
I'm hoping I'm wrong. I'm hoping I end up absolutely loving him. Because despite what I sound like here, I really am looking forward to this. Magical Kamen Riders appeal to me. And I am hoping beyond hope for a Wizard x Magiranger movie so bad my mind's about to explode at the mere idea.
I just think they could've done a little but more between costumes, is all.

Exactly why I love it. It's simple form changes with elemental themes. Versatile, but not overly gimmicky like OOO or Fourze. That's the start of a good Kamen Rider, imo.

I like the primary colors motif. The last few Rider shows have gotten almost over the top with the different crazy forms. This is much more simple and elegant.

Very much looking forward to seeing the premiere.

Thing that has me thinking he has a ton of forms is that they're showing his powered up forms before the show is even out in Japan.Maybe he can mix forms by wearing more then one ring at once?

It's hard to see, but this really does get me pumped for Wizard

Hi everyone, new to this board. I've been a member over at TFW2005 for several years and for some reason never clicked on the link at the top. It was a google search for something that brought me here. I have been following most of the Sentai and Rider series for awhile now...anyhow...

My guess is that there will be other colors as well: Green, Purple, Orange, etc...based on the combination of powers (eg. Red + Blue = Purple) Then, of course, there will be his Final or Ultimate form closer to the end of the series.
