I like it. I like how you can put the Rangers in to it. I can't wait till we get to see the other 4 Zords. & The Megazord toy were we see all 5 zords become the Megazord.

Ahahaha! Ok, I'm really don't want to come off as bashing the toy. But that shot of it flying is just hilarious to me.

I'm just imagining a the thing in the air with the little blue flames and going "Weeee! I'm flying!"

This is cool, but I'm not sure a non-transforming version is worth $80. I'll definitely be getting the DX version though.

It for some reason, looks worlds better now. Maybe because of the darker color and better paint detail?

Still not getting it, but if they do this treatment to the Deluxe combining one, I'll consider it.

I don't think it should be in the $80 price range. A bit much for a figure with only a couple lights and sounds. I think it would do a lot better (With both kids and adults) if it were about $20 less. Parents wouldn't shut down every child that asks for it just by glancing at the price, and collectors wouldn't have it perpetually on their "Buy it later" list.

It looks pretty big, and the figures being able to fit inside it is neat, so it has that going for it.

Just so everyone has a frame of reference, that's why I tagged $79.99 as preliminary. It's in Canadian dollars so it will likely be somewhat less in USD.

I agree with you this toy looks awful. I wondered what the hinges where for now I know a useless function that hinders articulation. Though these pictures are better than the initial one, and it does look a lot better but then again I still don't like this toy. Definitely going in for the DX and hoping maybe a legacy 6" figure

I'm surprised too as i got mine at my local Walmart this week

They really shouldn't have bothered with the little ranger compartments, and instead focused making the figure well articulated, because that's probably the best thing this design has going for it imo.

Yeah I wish the Dino Charge Megazords were easier to find before we move on to the movie.

I dunno, this toy just looks so cheap to me. Like something you'd see in one of those transformers knock-off films, or the 500th direct-to-video sequel to some 80s sci fi action movie.

I'm hoping the film version actually looks good, since I'm excited for the movie.

Well now we know where the design team got there ideas from.

Ehh, I also see glimpses of Metroid, Live Action Transformers, Voltron, and Pacific Rim design-wise.
Again, I don't hate the design itself and I think it does look nice on its own, but it does feel misplaced.

Folks folks, instead of feeling bad about this, all you have to do is....

Why are the girls in the thighs any way when the mastodon and the triceratops make the legs this time ... I will blame the same marketing that thinks a pink zord won't sell to boys

The leaked pictures of the combined mode (the pictures not allowed here) show the Triceratops and Mastodon becoming the legs.

Plus, though there's very little to tell you what animals form which parts, they're still (minimally) colored the appropriate colors. Pink head, red torso, yellow abdomen, black/blue feet. They really put the rangers in the completely wrong places, considering.

I think that's where my problems come from with this design and this toy is one very little color, two no clear way to tell what zord is where, and three this toy just kinda sucks. The DX version at least solves a few of the zord and color problems but as for if it sucks or not I don't know.

On another note can anyone confirm that the DX is going to be 24" tall combined because if so I'm going to need to figure out where it and Voltron, Metroplex, and Fortress Maximus are going to go.

I wonder if Bandai America will do a Deluxe sized version of this megazord.

What I really don't understand is this Megazord doesn't look much like the DX Megazord we know is coming from the other leaked picture. Why are Bandai releasing two different Megazords in appearance yet they're supposed to be the same one? The Mighty Morphin Megazord had plenty of singular action figure variants released yet it always looked true to itself.

In the leaked picture of the DX Megazord we can see the Mastodon and Triceratops make the legs while the Pterodactyl makes the wings rather than the head. It's got me wondering which version is actually going to be appearing in the movie.

I would've picked this toy up but it seems ultimately pointless as it's probably not going to look anything like what the actual Megazord will look like in the finished movie if the DX Megazord is anything to go by.

I think you've got it completely backwards. The way the Megazord is designed in this movie, they've made it close to impossible to replicate its transformation as a toy. The DX one probably looks nothing like it's going to appear on screen because that one has to physically combine in a way that makes sense in reality, regardless of how nonsensical the combination sequence actually is in the movie. This version of the Megazord probably looks more like how it will appear on screen; not the DX version.

Yeah they are it was leaked with this one back on the 4th however to cover their tracks the revealed an early image of this one on twitter and asked for fans and fan sites not to spread the leak images around. If you want to see the DX version try googling "Movie Megazord Leak"

Yep, looks less crap than before, but it still looks like crap, at least to this lad anywho.

I like how the wings can fold away along the back of the figure, also the more dirtier looking paint looks much better instead of the flat colours we saw before.

Gives me how for the Deluxe Megazord and the individual zords.

And the preorder is gone. I am still going to wait to find a titano charge megazord for slightly cheaper. 65.99 usd to can is alittle harsh. I just hope that with ninnenger coming out in the North American and the movie coming out I just hope I don't miss him.
