Which Sentai Mecha/Zords Deserve the SOC Treatment?
 

Yep, just curious, which sentai mecha/zords from the past do you guys think deserve the SOC treatment? I'm talking transformable, fully articulated, diecast sentai mecha/zords. Here's my list:

• Daizyujin
• Muteki Shogun
• Dragon Caesar
• Kaikure Daishogun
• Tsubasamaru
• GOURAIJIN

Wiling to pay $200+ should Bandai/Tamashii Nations just up and F%^&*ing DO ET! Come on!

The Sentai mecha remind me of those big ass anime mecha from the 80's. Sentai mecha designs lend themselves well to them. Hell some sentai mecha were MADE in the original Chogokin lines in the 80's! Godaikin anyone?!

You are know, before I start, what atleast one of my choices will be. But here's my Top Ten list of Megazords I'd enjoy being SoC:

1) Megaforce Megazord (Gosei Great)
2) Jolly Roger Megazord (Gokai-Oh)
3) DragonZord
4) Thunder Megazord
5) Ninja Megazord
6) Wild Force Isis Megazord
7) Wolf Pride Megazord (Jungle Fury)
8) Wolf Centauris Megazord (Just imagine that for a second and not nerdrage it isn't been made yet)
9) Manticore Megazord
10) White Tiger Megazord

I need myself an SRC Grand Liner. With effects parts of the Victory Robo vehicles exploding out of it as if they were being deployed.
That would be awesome.

Plus. They can make more money if they offer Gosei, by releasing Header Module packs seperately.

The Thunder Megazord (DaiRenOh) for sure especially the Ryuuseioh, a multi-jointed Dragon? Give it to me in SOC form please!!

Muteki Shogun would work great in diecast.

Muteki Shogun for sure. If they could pull that off well I'd love to see OhBlocker too.

No Zeo Megazord?

Of course, but I think the Super Zeo/OhBlocker would have more going for it with the humanoid robot components.

I never liked Super Zeo. It's not a bad mech, I don't absolutely hate it, it's just.. a bit bland. I think Zeo Mega would be a much better choice. Especially if it has all the changable helmets. You wouldn't get that with OhBlocker.

Kakure Daishogun/Ninja Megazord!

With or without Falconzord? Because Im hoping it comes with. And it detatches, and the wings are posable. All of this.

Definitely would love the following:

1) Muteki Shogun
2) Ryuuseioh
3) Magiking
4) Live Robo
5) Jet Icarus
6) Galaxy Mega

A realistic choice would be Gobuster Ace. Very cool design and transformation that would be amazing with die-cast and SOC articulation.

A dream but unrealistic choice would be EngineOh G12. Can you just imagine that monstrosity, ARTICULATED?

Would SOC be the equivilent of an S.I.C. for the Sentai Mecha? Just because they take a slight deviation on the asthetics...no where near the level S.I.C. does of course...

Not really, SOC is Bandai's diecast robot line, mainly of 80's anime mecha but branching out, they added a few EVA's and even Battle Fever Robo years back. It has a lot of Mazingers, and other mecha include Daltanius, Xabungle, Ideon, Reideen, et al.

The best example I can make is, if you had a Godaikin toy in the 80's, and Bandai decided to make an SOC version, it's like the equivalent of the Transformers Masterpiece line.

SIC means super imaginative chogokin, SOC means soul of chogokin, they have nothing in common :)

Alot of Mazingers? There's like 30 molds of that one robot.

I'm mad it took 14 posts for someone to bring up MagiKing :lol. IMO, if any were to get a full on SOC treatment, it's MagiKing.

At first I thought this thread was for SRC :lol

Id be ALL OVER SOC releases for some of the older Sentai stuff. Particularly the Liveman and Maskman Mecha. As well as some other choice robos like Ryuseioh, Sirender, and Z-Rex. I think alot of the mainly stand alone machines would benefit most from this treatment.

That's the SRC, not the same thing as SOC.

You know. With Figuarts bringing in some Jetman.. Would an SoC Jet Icarus and/or Garuda be far behind?
