Not sure how many here are bronies, but I thought I'd start a discussion thread, and hopefully it'll take off! Today's episode blew me away at how awesome it is. Seriously Hasbro loves us A LOT.

I've really enjoyed the last two episodes this season, which is nice considering nearly everything between Lesson Zero and last week's episode really seemed sub par compared to Season 1's episodes.

It seems the episodes that really stand out are the ones that involve most if not all of the main six, and this episode had the added bonus of mind blowing amounts of fan-catering. Jaws were dropped when I heard "Careful, Derpy..."

I knew it was only a matter of time 'til this thread popped up :lol

I've only watched half of today's episode since the livestream I was watching cut out halfway through, so I'm going to watch the rest later this evening. I'm still slightly shocked Derpy is canon.

I watch it every once in a while and enjoy it, but I don't follow it closely or anything. It's a well made and enjoyable show.

My wife and I both enjoy the show a great deal. It's got that little special 'something' that much of TV has been missing.

I decided if they ever make that Zebra into a toy, I'd buy it. She reminds me heavily of a friend of mine in SA.

I almost made this thread, but thought it would be pointless considering how huge the TFW one is.

As for the show, I kinda haven't kept up with it because of...being distracted by Super Sentai.

I don't watch the show, but from what I did watch, it's not too bad. Kind of a "Powerpuff Girls meet My Little Pony" vibe.

It's a shame Bandai does Figuarts.
I'd drop so much for a Figuart Celestia.

Anyway, yeah. I'm into the show. It's fun and it keeps me happy.

Today's episode was great, that song will bear many repeats when I get my grubby hands on the MP3. What really sold it though, was the Friendship Lesson to Princess Celestia, that was hilarious.

Quite a great episode!

I really loved the song, and I'm really glad it went on as long as it did. There were two or three moments in it where I thought, "Aw, it's another short one..."

Despite being an Applejack episode (I think?), she really didn't seem like the main focus... In fact, she seemed to get the least focus out of everyone! Hopefully these last two episodes are an example of what to expect for the rest of the season after its, in my opinion, rocky start.

I'm loving this season.
The song was great, and the Friendship Report was hilarious.

Great episode yesterday! I loved how they fleshed out the character of Daring Do rather than just make her a pastiche of various Indiana Jones stereotypes. Rainbow Dash makes a bunch of funny faces and Pinkie Pie again delivers very meme-worthy one-liners, that crazy mare.

I don't know if it's my anticipation for next week's episode or what, but this episode wasn't all that spectacular.
Then again, unless Rainbow is doing something incredibly awesome, I tend to have a harder time enjoying her scenes compared to the rest of the cast.

But Daring Do was fun.

Haha, today's episode was so cute! Cheerilee is one of my favorites now.

What a great episode! The Smile song is certainly the highlight (my new favorite song), and learning why the new character sounds so familiar (he's Rhinox) is twice as awesome as it should be!

But, the Smile song aside, I really wouldn't rank it with my favorites.

Hmm, yeah I get what you mean, but that Smile song is really something. It's just musical candy to my ears, really.

Oh by the way, it seems this thread has become a sort of two-way dialogue between you and me, Matrixbeast. Hopefully more bronies pop in one way or another. :(

Yeah, Smile is easily my favorite Pinkie song (And right behind "At The Gala" and "Winter Wrap Up" (My god, WWU drilled right into my head and never left) for my favorite song).

And I agree. It would be pretty cool for other bronies to show up. I'm fine with talking to just you, but it would be nice to have some other voices pop up here (And it'd be great to know of other bronies who are also into Toku). Until then, I guess we could just make use of the MLP thread over at TFW :p

But, yeah, pretty good episode. I totally called "Smile" popping up when I was talking to one of my friends about it a week ago. I like that we're finally getting songs over halfway though the season, but something inside makes me wish they had spaced them out a bit. It might have given the season a smoother start.

Oh boy. Lost a bet. Hope this avatar isn't against the rules :p

Anyway, I enjoy the songs, pretty fun and catchy. I think I'm fine with them being all clustered up here, but it would've been nice to have them more spread out through the season, yeah.

I thought Smile was a pretty good song, and the episode itself was very well done. Also, I agree with Matrixbeast on spreading them out more.

Smile was a great song. It definitely beat out Find a Pet for favorite Season 2 song.

This should be an interesting watch for you guys. My local Comic Convention had Tara Strong as a guest, and special surprise guest John de Lancie, and as such held a Brony panel.

I just discovered that Bronies were a thing last week and now i see over at Rangerboard that they are hating on Bronies. Could anybody perhaps explain why?

It's the internet. People will always find ways to hate each other for stupid reasons.
