Ok every now and then when i browse ebay for sentai, power rangers, and other mech related stuff I keep finding these.

I have to know what the story is behind these is. I get they are a MMPR/Zyuranger bootlegs but damn that 2nd one looks kinda awesome.

Top one looks like a cheap bootleg.
Bottom one looks like a 3rd Party company that really loved the look of the first bootleg :lol

I have no idea wat it is, but I wants it. The second one that is.

Edit: Upon further inspection I realize that the four that make up the limbs are meant to represent the four Saint Beast of the Heavens. Genbu the Turtle/Snake of the North, Byakko the White Tiger of the West, Suzaku the Phoenix of the South, and Seiryuu the Dragon of the East. As for what the fifth one onfthe bottom left of the first pic is is a question to me. I"m assuming it's a Kirin?

I was thinking that Same thing but i doubt it's Four Symbols because the colors are off the Leg should be blue and the arms black but I do think it is Inspired by Chinese myth much like Dairanger

Yeah, the colors for Seiryuu and Genbu are horribly off. Left leg (Seiryuu) should've been blue while the Arms (Genbu) should've been completely green or black. Only justification for the blue/green combo on the one is.....Believe it or not, Genbu is related to ice.... He's the Saint Beast of the North, NOrth as in Mountains. And mountains are cold and have ice. Only justification I can come up with.
Other than what you said, that is. Simple inspiration.

Part of me wants to say that this was made back when Zyuranger was running and Dairanger was announced to try and get the jump on show in terms of bootlegs. However both figures when I find them are under 50 bucks on ebay and both have this product description most of the time:

I agree a little they did a lot of retooling and remolding it's not fair to call this bootleg but if you do i ask you do the same for all G1 transformers toys because they are just retools Diaclone and Macross figures

Not going to lie i've very interested in this show i don't want to watch it because the 1st seresis that these mechs come from are well kinda hard to look at.

Yes, because it is still designed off of Daizyujin/the Megazord.

I don't think I'd even notice it was related to Daizyujin if not for the shape of the sword and chestplate on the top, lower-end image. I don't see the resemblance at all on the bottom, high-end version. It looks like they used Daizyujin's general transformation structure as a jumping-off point, then varied most of the actual design elements.

The fact that the turtle has a green head and front, but the top is blue literally makes me ill. I don't care how well made it is, that is not good design.

Are you being sarcastic? Yeah a lot of it's original but at the end of the day, it's an unlicensed reproduction of Daizyujin as the 4 Symbols and the Yellow Dragon.

They even retooled Dragon Caesar if I remember correctly.
They molded a beak in it.

I actually like this better than Daizyujin and always wanted to get it but could never find it for a price I liked.

Also if you look closely at the opening for its show you can see their rangers are using the summoning sword from Gaoranger.

Is nobody going to mention the fact that the opening clearly shows that YELLOW is the leader instead of red?

Hey Gang,

While structurally it's a rip off of Daizyujin, it's actually it's own thing, a Chinese Toku called Celestial Warriors. The small one is a indeed a KO of it, and the large one is from a new box set from a recent movie. It has die cast parts and such, a real thing, but not so hot either. I have both actually, rather recently acquired, and will be reviewing both eventually.

I've seen the larger one floating about online these past couple weeks, but I've been hesitant to pick it up because, while it looks cool, it tends to go for less than $25 (Without shipping), which kind of worries me over it's quality.

It looked impressive in photos but I think in-hand it's a little disappointing.

I won one of these on an eBay auction. But sadly the seller had to refund my money because they rant out of stock. I was sooooo happy when I won. Now I'm rather upset..
