*Third season of anime, probably unrelated to first 2.

*"Kami no Kiba" (literally DIVINE FANG)- a Gaiden story featuring Masahiro Inoue's character from GoldStorm.

*And a new series, Gekkou no Tabibito ("The Moonlight Traveler.")

So who will be our Moonlight Traveler? Raiga? A fourth Garo (ignoring wrestler guy from the end of Restudan)? Dan?

劇場版 means "movie version", Moonlight Traveler is a movie.

Will they ever think of making a "female" makai knight for once?

Is the anime seriously doing that well?

Okay, someone correct me if I'm wrong, as I've only a passing knowledge of Garo, but is there an actual lore reason for there being no female Makai Knights? I keep thinking I've heard something about the armors only being usable by males which... oddly enough, is kind of rare.

Think about it, when was the last time there was a mystical power that was exclusively meant for men, rather than just having girls disbarred because "patriarchy." I can think of at least 2 anime just off the top of my head where the opposite is true, with several mythological examples as well, but none of the other.

Of course, I say this, but I'd still like to see a female Makai Knight myself, just because I think it'd look good if nothing else.

Wasn't there supposed to be a Raiga movie at some point?

I still haven't watched Retsuden OR the Anime shows. I need to catch up.

^ Yes, that's what the third item on the list is, the Raiga movie.

IIRC, it has to do with men and women representing Yin and Yang, with women representing the darkness, thus unable to use the armor.

New Zinga project? Yeah, I'm down for that, especially after the episode of Makai Retsuden that focused on his and Amiri's backstory.

Raiga movie? Down for that, too. There's still a lot of untapped potential in the Raiga timeline.

New cartoon? Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Yay, my Favorite Toku is still being active. The first anime series was good however, the second season or part was hot steaming garbage. I'll remain optimistic regarding the other announced projects. Personally, I don't care for Jinga but I would be open to watching something regarding him. Hopefully, we get to see his armor before becoming a Horror.

Great to hear. I've been seriously missing GARO lately. Jinga getting his own movie is great because I loved his story in Gold Storm. Masahiro Inoue is just awesome. Totally down for a new series whether it be a new character, Raiga, or whoever. Good for the anime, I'll have to see it because the last two as much as I liked them are no where near as good as the Live-Action series and start off way too slow.

If it's anything like the first anime entry, it'll probably be a fantastic show.

Oh I think it'll be fantastic just halfway through. The anime's are half pain/half brilliance.

I didn't have any issue with the first anime. The first half was mostly stand alone adventures but then again, so are the tokusatsu. (this was initially the reason I had such a hard time getting into Garo)

I watched the first anime. It was not fantastic.

Which is kinda odd considering where the Makai Knight armor comes from if the Ryuga series are anything to go by. Though, I hear conflicting arguments on whether its even canon or not but Retsuden made a really compelling argument that its now canon. Its still a little murky though.

And if its anything like the second anime it'll be a dreadful show, so its anyone's game :lol

I really can't wait to see Zero again in a new series. It's been forever since we had a dual sword knight.

Depends who is doing it.

If it's as good as Honoo no Kokuin, then it'll be solid and one of the only anime I will give a shit about.

Not now they've established that women can't use armor or Soul Metal. The closest we will get to that is someone like Yuna from Black Blood, who is able to use her father's sword.

Incidentally, I always thought that Rekka should have been the one to get to do that.

I really do hope we get a show that retcons that bit of lore. Even an "exception to the rule" character would be great, since heroes so often fall into that catergory anyways.

I think it'll be Yuna, if they ever bring her back in any meaningful way.

I loved the way she was used in Makai Retsuden and her interaction with Leo made complete sense, as they're both people that cross the line between Knights & Priests.

Like I say, should be Rekka, but by this point she's established as such a badass Makai Priest in her own right that I think she's over the "Girls can't be knights" thing, so maybe if Yuna's arc continues, she somehow is able to summon her father's armor.

I don't think they should retcon the rule, but a huge awesome moment could be made out of that rule finally being broken for the first time.

I just saw a advertisement for The new Zero: Dragon Blood upcoming show.

Rei/Zero will be up against an Ancient Makai Knight- Edel who has a Dragon Armor. It looks pretty tight. Looks like a cross between. Zen and GIru armor if they had went into Light awakening beast Mode.

The Third anime will also revolve around a Dragon Knight.

Ultimately,looks like they are trying to go in a new Direction with the Dragon Makai Knights. If so, sounds good to me. Wolves and Dragons. Lol
