Ex-Aid's really surprising me, the plot's already starting to thicken even more. A virus being used as a weapon is something that disturbs me, though that's due to a personal situation right now. I love how Emu points out Hiiro being a total hypocrite. Drago Knight Hunter Z was also surprisingly good in motion imo.
Also, considering Emu started attacking everything, this image becomes funnier http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/...96/645/a97.jpg |
This continues to further the plot. I love everything about this right now. Tying back stuff to the Doctor who saved Emu's life is great. Emu being irrational and wanting to save the Doctor who saved his life I enjoyed immensely. Graphite is an intriguing villain too bad I don't think he'll make it past the next episode. Kiriya is intriguing and I like his intuition on checking on Emu. Just another fantastic episode.

Well it didn't take long for the show to start contradicting Generations. Guess the doctor who saved Emu wasn't Pac-Man after all. Much prefer this, anyway.
Really good episode. Emu's really starting to lose it, and it'll be interesting to see what his reaction will be to finding out that his admired doctor isn't necessarily as spotless as he thought him to be. Really looking like he took the opportunity to do the candidate operation or something on him when he was a kid for...some reason. It's gonna be a shame when Graphite kicks it next week. I really like the guy. |
Hmm...really interesting as always.. :D
I am didn't expect the doctor who save Emu in past is from Ministry of Health.. But...I am dislike Emu when he grab Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat from Kuroto...... Graphite is going more crazy because he spread virus again and Taiga is still annoying.... Poppipopapo is also annoying when she in battle zone between Graphite and Riders..... Pallad become more interesting right now.. I am really love his expression when he watch Ex-Aid successfully can destroy dragon monster...... It seems Pallad is really happy when Ex-Aid successfull obtain Drago Knight Hunter Z full power..... Kiriya also interesting too especially when he in CR room in this episode.... Pallad really remind me to Sora Takigawa from Kamen Rider Wizard..... So....Dragon power can turn user into berserk mode ...hmm....this Level 5 is really strong but I am can't imagine how powerful Level X and Level 50..... Maybe the Riders using one parts from Level 5 in next episode to avoid side effect from Drago Knight Hunter Z Yeah...this show is going better and better.... :D |
Hmm this is actually Emu's episodes.. and still cool episodes
I like the fact that every Gashat power except the basic one the rider have to fight for it well even though the monster feel "weak" , this is has long forgotten kinda remind me of KR Blade which is nice, usually every gimmick just kinda "here new toys" curious to see how they will team up.. so this is good bye to graphite? or.... |
This last episode was surprisingly great. I mean, I've completely fallen for Ex-Aid in general but the plot is thickening nicely. Also, I just love how the gashats are working. Like when Snipe used Gekitotsu Robots, or the double Critical Finish. Dragon Knight Hunter is also way better than I expected, and its sounds are pretty sweet.

Man this show is on fire lately. I think I'm just going skip the usual bullet points because I pretty much loved everything in this episode. The action was great. Emu was great and it's nice to see him getting fleshed out some more, and even nicer to see his luck actually run out (sort of) for once. Everybody else was great too, and of course Lazer continues to be the man. The only moment of "huh?" I had the whole episode was when Ex-Aid and Graphite start fighting and basically everybody else in the show just sort of appears a minute later, including Asuna for some reason. I half expected Hiiro's dad to walk by eating a cupcake. :lol
Next episode looks amazing too and that trailer for Heisei Generations had Haruto saying a goofy line about hope which is basically all I wanted out of it. The rest of the movie could be total garbage but at least that's in there. :p |

Possibly one of the best explanations of suit powerups. It's a four player game. And suddenly the only reason Emu is useful is because he has to learn to share. |

But I agree, it's better if the show handles it, I was confused that they wanted to do it in the movie to begin with. Anyways, nice episode, I'm not too much into the dragon form but the 4 player idea is sweet, especially since those 4 players are not likely to cooperate well at all. Also, the setup for Emu not having the required operation intrigues me. And lastly, I happily noticed that the control apparatus for the scan-thingy in the CR room is controlled via an arcade cabinet style stick complete with buttons. Neato. |
This show continues to be insanely good. I love the fleshing out they are giving Emu and I for one am a sucker for watching characters totally lose it like he was. Sucker punching Snipe and stealing Brave's sword in the middle of a fight was crazy. I also loved Emu and Hiro's argument, and Lazer continuing to research in the background. They've been balancing their pretty large cast really well so far. Can't wait to see everyone try and get along as they use Drago Knight Hunter Z next episode.

For someone who wears a red jacket 24/7, Kiriya is really good at sneaking around without being noticed.

Kinda refreshing to see Emu/M be the jerk this time around, with him stealing Brave's weapon. It really helps make him feel more human than if he immediately tried to to get the others to work together the moment Dan said Drago Knight Hunter Z was a 4 player game.
Speaking of Dan, I love he can have his company finish developing a Gashat, and then keep it in a drawer in his desk for as long as he likes without the CR even finding out. The dude practically has them in the palm of of his hand. Lastly, Kiriya's investigation is really interesting as well. The info with the Riders needing to get an operation where they're injected with a Bugster vaccine was nice enough. But coupled with the fact that the Zero Day only happened 5 years ago yet the only operation Emu has ever had was 16 years ago, and now there's this whole new possible direction for the plot to go. |

I'm guessing that silly "Emu was a pair of twins" thing is also just for the movie, since having a different doctor probably means there's a different secret about the operation. Anyway, watched the episode subbed. I totally missed in the raw how Kiriya was saying Emu died when getting his records. That's so perfectly dishonest. I love Kiriya. |

So Emu not getting the operation could mean three things:
Most likely: Emu got the Bugster virus when the doctor operated on him when he was young. EDIT: Actually since Zero Day happened after, maybe the virus Emu got was similar? Less likely, but it would be interesting: Emu didn't get the operation and it can be all like Gaim's finale. Maybe: Eru is protecting him from the virus. |
I think the twist they're building up to is that Emu was the host of a unique virus that was genetically engineered into the Bugster virus, making all of the Bugsters his brothers and sisters. That's why he doesn't need surgery to use Rider tech and why he seems immune to the game sickness, he was the first human to build up antibodies against it.
I think the doctor who saved him smuggled the virus out and it was experimented on by the ministry of health until it broke out. Maybe Genm Corp. was involved in some way, I don't buy the whole "they just appeared out of a glitch one day"-thing. Of course I'm telling you what I would like to see happening, what I expect to see is that Emu is immune just because he is or because the doctor infected him on purpose. |
