Power Ranger name for Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger
 

Ok with the trend of Power Rangers skipping seasons it might be accurate to assume Power Rangers Animal Cube may never happen so given we know the theme and setting to Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger. So let's take some wild guesses to what the Power Ranger name might be.

My Guess it Power Ranger Fallen Stars and 2nd season Fallen Super Stars

I'd call it Zodiaction.

Because clever!

I'm thinking something like Power Rangers Space Force or Power Rangers Space Patrol. Then the typical addition of Super to make Power Rangers Super Space Force/Patrol.

Though I'm kinda hoping they're a little more creative than that. Maybe work in some form of the word galaxy/galactic.

That said, I'm more curious to see how BoA would go about creating zordbuilder compatible versions of the mecha.

I avoided the Zodiac name because only 4 or 5, depends on who you ask, rangers actually use Zodiac constellations

Technically a good number of the "Dino" Charge Rangers and zords weren't based on actual Dinosaurs. Hell, the original MMPRs are consistently referred to as having powers of the dinosaurs, but only two of the Rangers are based on dinosaurs.

Three. Pteradactyl, Triceratops, and T-Rex. Only two were not Dino's, Mastodon and Sabertooth Tiger.

Actually, while this is not commonly known, pterodactyls aren't actually considered "dinosaurs".
They are pretty simplistic, but the way they combine isn't condusive to the transition to zordbuilder. That said, I was thinking about it, and they could probably pull another Dino Charge by having the zordbuilder stuff built into the lion zord rather than the limbs themselves. That way the limbs can attach to the pieces of the lion zord, which then in-turn connect to the main body of the lion via zordbuilder ports.

On a side note, is it Kyuranger or Kyuuranger? I've been assuming the first is correct, but I'm seeing the second spelling pop up a lot too...

red, black, orange, gold, and depending on who you ask silver is also some time a part of the Zodiac. Pink, Blue, Green and yellow are not a part of the Zodiac. The reason silver is considered by some is because the Ophiuchus' lowest star falls between Sagittarius and scorpius

Under the assumption that they'll most likely skip Zyuohger (which I think is a safe bet), I don't think they could also skip Kyuranger. Skipping both would mean they would then have to either somehow turn the 2018 Sentai series into a Power Rangers series while said Sentai is still airing, use a Sentai series that they previously skipped, or break their format and create an entire Power Rangers series without Sentai footage.

I can get behind this. Command wasn't in any PR title before and it makes sense since the team starts with 9 members.

Since it’s likely to be split across two years, I wonder if “Super” will be retained in the second season’s name. I guess it couldn’t just be called Power Rangers Samurai, for example, for both seasons due to marketing reasons?
