New Power Rangers Legacy Items listed
Some of these are new, others are not.
- Legacy Power Sword - 12" Spandex Legacy Red Ranger - 6.5" Legacy Dino Thunder Red and Blue Rangers (part of the Zeo wave 1 figures) - Silver Legacy coin set - Gold Legacy coin set Legacy Dino Thunder was speculated forever but this as close to confirmation as you'll get. |
A 12 inch 'spandex' figure? So I guess the return of those old cloth-suited 12 inch toys.
Now if it has show-accurate proportions, I'll be all over it. If not, pass. Nice to know Dino Thunder's next. I was just suggesting to a friend that should be a team to go next for Legacy. |
Yay for Abaranger figures.
|
... Dino Thunder you say? Sorry Wallet!
|
While I'm happy about Dino Thunder joining the legacy line, I have to say I was holding out hope for the missing 3 NS and the Silver In Space rangers.
Oh well, perhaps there will be an extra wave at the end of next year or early 2018 to complete the teams. NS Thuder Rangers, NS Samurai, In Space Silver and DT White would make a great complimentary wave. Here's hoping we can complete the next four teams sometime soon! |
I really do not get Bandai's thought process for their BAF Megazord toys. It's taking forever just to complete the regular Megazord. Heaven forbid they just do the waves properly.
|
look at that. I was right after all. Suck it , Kiryu.
|
Not expecting this. Figured they would save some Tommy for a later wave. Still very cool
|
Get tommy olivers toys done with and by 2018 cancel the line while we wait for figures to complete megazords
|
Heck yeah! I need a Legacy Titanus!
|
It'll be interesting to see how they handle a 12" figure with a cloth suit. If it's anything like classic GI Joe, I'll probably pick one up.
Still really hoping Lightspeed Rescue and RPM get made before the 6" Legacy line gets canned. It's really been selling well here (haven't seen any of wave 2 yet), but I've heard it's shelfwarming elsewhere. Honestly, knowing how they plan on releasing the extra accesories would help finally push me into buying the line. |

The girls shelf warm? I've seen Hurricane Blue on the shelves twice. Every other time it's just Dragon Ranger and Hurricane Red. Bandai is very full of themselves. I wonder how many teams they will actually release despite saying they were going to do every ranger.

I dont know why Titanus is mentioned in this "news", we've known he was coming for quite a while, tokunation ven took pics of him at nycc

Girls absolutely don't sell as well as the guys. I don't think Bandai are the ones who are full of themselves in this senario. |

Most people just want decent display pieces of their favorite characters and don't feel a compulsion to buy the whole team just for a complete set. To use your example as long they have a Cyclops and Nightcrawler on the shelf they're happy. |

But whatever, I think it's down right stupid. Hell, this is why they should just sell the entire team in one pack. |

And even then, you gotta remember there are multitudes of collectors with many different mindsets. I categorize 3 different ones: The Completist- The ones- that you seem to be aiming to please- that will buy the complete team. The Selective- The ones that will buy their favorite characters, and may go for the full team IF they feel a need to. And The Reseller- One who collects not for the fun of collecting but for future investments. Bandai, being a toy company, created these in mind for said 3 categories, but also maintained the idea of children wanting them too. They are toys after all man. |

Much like Generations in Transformers, just because something is collector focused doesn't mean it excludes kids, just like how kids focused doesn't exclude collectors. Netflix is a thing. Even young kids have the ability to learn about old series. And even if they didn't, all they see is a cool action figure. Quote:
Kain is very much a "if I don't get my way I'll pout" type guy. Rather than possibly accept alternative reasoning, he just refuses whatever doesn't fit his mindset. he cna't simply dislike something because he dislikes it, it has to be fundamentally wrong, likely because he bases most of his likes on what he percieves as facts, and must legitimize all his opinions with what he thinks is irefutable evience, lest he be challenged on said opinion. |
So is Bandai not going to bother fixing the silver belts on the MMPR crew?
|
Quote:
That said, the silver belts and limited production of the wave 2 figures might be enough for me to be able to say no to the MMPR team. I also get the feeling that the line will be dead before they can get to Lightspeed Rescue. Quote:

You sure as hell wouldn't be getting every team if they did that. |
