The Next Ep Preview should that Dan seemingly "killed" Kiriya.
DANG IT! HE IS OUR BELOVED BIKEBOI! WHY TOEI!?! WHY MUST IT BE ON CHRISTMAS EPISODE TOO?!?

It does seriously look like they're killing Kiriya off.

God. I hope they're just being deceptive. It's way too early to kill off a main character like that.

Especially when they've only had five episodes to shill his new toys! That said, Ex-Aid getting a new bicycle next episode certainly doesn't bode well for Kiriya's chances.

Genm inject Dangerous Zombie Power by using Gashacon Bugvisor and because that, he can't reach game over ...hmmm....interesting.....

So after Genm defeated by four Riders, finally Emu, Taiga, Hiiro, and Poppi know about Genm is Dan....

So...it seems Dan will not in Genm office again....maybe Genm Game Coorporation CEO will be replaced?

I am curious about next episode especially Kiriya's fate after he battle against Genm Zombie Gamer. Kiriya in next episode looks tragic.....

Don't tell me kirya is gonna be sacrifice for plot and just like hase will be mass produced so somehow ex aid and other can get their bike, no don't do this Toei!!

I think if they want Bakusou Bike in mass production version, they just can create mass bike from Proto Bakusou Bike Gashat data.

Okay, anyone else wondering what the Watsonian reason for them being called Kamen Riders is? Since only Genm has any type of vehicle at his beck and call, it definitely feels weird for this series to have that title be front and center.

And before anybody starts talking about branding and such, yes, I know that already. I'm looking at this solely from a narrative perspective here.

You know... if the preview for next weeks episode is true. That will leave the Gashacon Sparrow without an owner...

...And who do we know that no longer has any weapons?

Ok, actually watched the episode. Lots of interesting stuff here. Dan gathering "death data" from himself was both unexpected and a little expected. Definitely would have caught me more off guard if they hadn't shown him with the huge slash wound on his chest, also the whole zombie thing. Clever little twist there, still.

Anyway, definitely looking like Kiriya is kicking the bucket, and I will be so disappointed if that's the case. Please don't give me a dead bike boy for Christmas, Toei. I beg you.

Hayato Onozuka, the actor who played Kiriya, has a nephew who watched this series. I just hope Toei doesn't ruin his nephew's Christmas.

Hmm....after Dan injected Dangerous Zombie Gashat data, I think his body already "mutated".

I am still really want to know, since Dan is not in Genm office anymore, how Emu will obtain his new Gashat (Mighty Brother X)? Maybe he steal Mighty Brothers X from Dan's secret base?

And, in this episode, we has Saly Bugster in level up version (white hat). Maybe some of previous Bugster will be return too with their level up mode.

It might be a random thinking, but if I watched the preview, it seemed that Kiriya gave his Driver to Emu. So, despite that he might die next episode, at least, they might introduce a new character to use his Driver. After all, it seems that we get some new characters in the next episode. But, yeah, I don't really think that they will kill Kiriya so easily, since they need to commerce DKHZ more with Chambara Bike Gamer. And it's hard to make another appealing character like Kiriya again. Still, maybe Emu will use the Bike and Chambara Gashat since we have Shakariki Ex-Aid next week. Who knows what surprise that we will get for the series. But to be honest, sacrifice sometimes really to be needed to kick start the series into serious zone.

If Kiriya dies, I hope we get a new character who'll take his place. Ex-Aid needs a bike!

So this episode's guest was someone we have not seen for a while.
The actress who plays the mother of the patient is Hitomi Miwa, who also happens to be Gozen in Hurricanger and Rena/Uca Worm in Kamen Rider Kabuto.

I loved Kiraiya's remark to Genm/Dan after he powered down "Dude, you're REALLY going to die!"

Hopefully Kiriya doesn't die. Who is going to take his place on the Level 5 raid team?
Unless...Level 5 becomes useless and is replaced by level 50?!
I'm still hoping for Kiriya to just be out of the game for a long while till some time later he will return with level 50.
Unless Paradox replaces his spot on the team.

and seriously I want to know what is the freaking deal with Genm?!
Is he a hero...a villain...or just a psychopath?! xD

Another sweet episode of Ex-Aid, although at this point that's no surprise. My first couple bullet points here may make it sound like I didn't enjoy it, but it isn't the case:

- Wait, so Dan got his data on death from... dying? But he's not dead? But he should be dead from using the Proto Gashat? But even though they established that he never showed any signs of slowing down? I... I'm sure it makes sense, whatever. He probably used the Kaigan Ghost Gashat from the movie to get data on cheating death or something, sure. In all seriousness, I guess the idea is the data he got is also what kept him alive, so... fine. I've given up on expecting Ex-Aid to explain its internal logic and as long as it's in service of the story I really don't care.

- Wait, you need Level 5 to take Genm on, Emu? Didn't you mop the floor with him using Level 3 just fine back in episode 5? I was starting to think it was a deliberate and cool detail that Genm isn't actually tougher than the other Riders. He's usually either a Level ahead or using hit-and-run tactics that are more about accomplishing an objective, like preventing the Riders from blowing up a monster, rather than trying to actually win a fight with them. Maybe Emu was just being overeager.

- Speaking of Emu, man, just look at the total lack of characterization on display here. What a boring guy. Okay, I'm still a little bitter about those TV-N threads that got mentioned last week (you might say I'm a little Salty), but, from where I'm standing, they're continuing to do interesting stuff with him.

- Speaking of Salty, are people going to start saying Ex-Aid has no budget now that they're recycling MotW suits too?

- Kiriya is the man. I think I'm just going to say that every week until it stops being true. :p

- He's also totally fine for next week. I mean it. Really. HE'LL BE FINE! :mad:

- I mean, he's not like Hase who was distinctly a minor character, he's one of the main dudes. I think it'd be really unprecedented for something like that to just happen out of the blue. The only way I can even remotely see it happening is if someone new becomes Lazer to keep the "character" in the show for merch purposes (which also happened with Kurokage), and I feel like we would've either heard about that happening or be seeing an obvious replacement candidate in the show itself already.

- Speaking of surprises, we haven't gotten magazine scans with Zombie Genm yet, have we? I feel like a new form showing up like that doesn't happen often.

- Also, if they're explicitly calling next week a Christmas special, it better feel like it. I have a weak spot for any plot that can be described as "x saves Christmas" and have been waiting since Wizard for Rider to do something even close again. It's like the one thing I'd change about Ghost, come to think of it. :lol

- Oh, and since I'm always forgetting to mention something, why was Genm's voice filter different this episode? It used to sound all cool and now it's barely different from Dan's normal voice.

There actually is going to be at least one new series regular introduced next episode, that being the girl with the colorful clothes who shows up in the preview. The guy in jail Kiriya is meeting is Dan's dad, but I haven't seen anything definitive concerning whether he also is going to join the cast as a regular or if he's just going to guest star for the episode. But it's possible that it's the former.

So it could actually happen.

Hopefully not cause losing Kiriya would be awful, but they are introducing two new characters in the episode in which they're hinting he's gonna die....if he does, being replaced as Lazer seems likely.

No. He should be dead because his life bar went to zero. Something he forced the other Riders to inflict on him so that he could turn what would have been a fatal trigger into data for Dangerous Zombie, both sparing his life and completing the Gashat. That's how I've interpreted it at least. He's basically using dev hacks to cheat at this point.

I feel like if they were replacing him there'd be more setup than that, unless the staff somehow doesn't understand the goldmine they have going with Kiriya. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time an episode preview deliberately mislead us.

Of course, I thought Graphite's death was way too early and anticlimactic to be the actual exit for what seemed to be a main villain, so...

It's not happening. Nope. No way. I don't believe it.

I guess the real question here is if Genm was actually planning to murder that little kid. Dan keeps talking about how everything is going according to plan, but I'm still not sure if he means "this still works to my benefit", or "literally every detail happens to my designs". I kind of assumed by data on death he meant someone has to actually die, not just cut it close.

Well we was dying which immediately pertains to death, and I guess that's good enough. As far as attacking the kid goes, I have no doubt that he was just using the boy as a means of getting one of the Riders to take the last bit of his lifebar. Whether it be for learning information or showing sympathy, I don't think any of the Riders wanted GENM dead, so they were reluctant to land a finishing blow. He needed to raise the stakes in order to force their hand and knows the group well enough by this point to be sure that at least one of them would protect the child at an attackers expense. The chances of success were in his favor.

Yeah, recycling suits incoming. I like Salty's salty personality though, so glad he is back.

I guess I figured as much about the kid, though given how nuts Dan has proven to be I bet he would've been happy enough to go through with it if no one stopped him.

That's from one of the merch catalogs. I knew we knew the form itself was coming, but usually TV-Kun and the like have actual photos from the show beforehand.

Uuuuugh, why is this show so good. I am going to be DYING all week to know what happens next after that preview. Please don't kill Kiriya, he's my favorite guy who turns into a motorcycle ever. Like, it would also be insanely cool to kill him, BUT I WILL BE SO SAD.

I have to admit I'm not entirely sure what happened to Dan. Is he dead, undead, or still alive? I assume I'll have to wait until next week to find out. It looks like we are onto the real plot from here on out though, so buckle up!

I realized with Fish already doing the episode recap, my version of the recap wouldn't really add anything new except for some jokes that range from barely to moderately funny.

So I decided to stick with last weeks formula and just write the 2-3 things that really got my attention, with the occasional joke.

So the Bugsters are basically immortal, and while some may call that a cop-out, I do think it makes sense since:

A) They appear to be data based monsters, and the riders have only ever destroyed their physical forms.

B) Real-life sicknesses like the common cold or the flu can't be completely destroyed, even if you cure everybody in a town, it can still come back later.

It turns out I was wrong and Dan was totally able to keep his act reasonably going past episode 10.

And with him leaving Genm, and even admitting that he's gonna be the next villain to rider kick the bucket, I wonder who's gonna develop the new gashats for the rest of the show?

Most importantly: When he does finally die, what is Pallad gonna do?

It's possible that he could just sit around and do nothing but play games, since it seems that Salty was able to revive himself all on his own. But I highly doubt he will, so I'm guessing he's planning or setting things up for the next big arc.

Lastly it seems that Mighty Action X gashat secretly leaked all of Ex-Aid's main power-ups so far.

- Gekitotsu Ex-Aid gives him a Mighty Punch!

- Drago Knight Ex-Aid lets him fly and do a tail swipe (Mighty Kick!)

- The Double Action Gamer splits him into two riders for Mighty Mighty Action!

- The Lvl 99 form gives him the Rider Armor from Megaman X!.

Hey, wait a second... *gears turning*

Then what about Graphite?! The fact that his actor got flowers sinks the idea he'll come back, but now it only makes less sense that he actually died last week.

The more I think about it, the more I think they're going to kill Kiriya next episode. *curls up in a corner*

I'm telling you guys, they'd never do it!

...and maybe if I say that enough I'll start believing it myself...

NOOOOO!!! KIRIYA DON'T DIEEEEEE!! YOU'RE TOO COOL TO LEAVE THE SHOWWWW!!! THE FASHION LEVEL ALONE WILL CRASH!!

So, I take it that Dan recorded his own death in the moment with the Bugvisor but, the Gashat revived him within that same moment as a "zombie"? I think that's what his scorched and split suit / wound was trying to communicate without being gory.

I'm still a little confused as to Dan's motives. Is he making saving the world from Bugsters a game, or is his infecting the world so he can save it because that's "the ultimate game"? Foggy on this point. Dangerous Zombie looks badass!

But, anyway - NOOOO!!! KIRIYAAAA!!

I was on the fence about Ex-Aid, but I think I'm in for the duration now, as it's showing me more potential than Drive or Ghost did.

Also, the whole way of gathering Data... pretty metal.
