Power Rangers Megaforce Cast Revealed?
 

The reliable sources over at Rangercrew have revealed a partial cast list for the forthcoming Power Rangers Megaforce series. The list includes casting for the red, yellow, blue and pink rangers, however the latter two are still awaiting an official announcement.

So without further ado...the casting for Power Rangers Megaforce is!

Red Ranger - Andrew Gray
Yellow Ranger - Ciara Hanna
Pink Ranger - Christina Masterson
Blue Ranger - John Mark Loudermilk

The information also includes final candidates for the Black and Silver Rangers. Names for the Black Ranger include Trevor Christianson and Peter Adrian, while the Silver Ranger final candidate is Eric Anwar.

Bear in mind that nothing is fully confirmed at this stage, however check the images of the potential cast and character breakdowns for the next Power Rangers series after the jump!

Are we assuming that the same actors will be used for both the Goseiger and Gokaiger adaptations? The two seasons are supposed to be linked somehow, right?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Why is red pouting in his picture? Great, so we have an emo red ranger and a slut for a yellow ranger. Wonderful. And the fact that the yellow ranger has been on soap operas means she cannot act for crap.

You... I... what the hell are you on, man? You can't tell anything about the show's characters from a couple of actor headshots. And I don't know where you're getting "slut" from photos of yellow's actress, but however you're doing it that is pretty damn offensive.

Power Rangers RPM character, who had worked on soaps beforehand. So I really wouldn't call that a gauge of acting talent, because she was excellent in RPM.

Wow, what a quick jump to conclusions. We really don't know jack about these actors yet, except how they look and that they possibly have more acting experience than the Samurai cast. Switchblade's right, what you called Yellow was pretty offensive when nothing much is known about her yet.

The comment about the emo Red Ranger reminded me of Matt Smith's casting as the 11th Doctor of Doctor Who. People cried foul at the casting of a youthful emo-looking Doctor, but once he donned that old-timey suit and bow tie, he looked totally different.

I agree with switchblade, we really don't know too much about the characters other than the limited information above. And yeah, so far, it definitely looks more promising than Samurai!

Really no matter who they cast I won't recognize them. Combine that with my lack of knowledge of the characters, so it really doesn't matter to me who they cast. Just as long as they're up to the task of playing the characters. Though honestly, I would prefer red ranger (well, all the Rangers for that matter) to NOT be emo...

Character wise, I'm hoping that this show's black ranger is similar to the second black ranger, Adam Park. He was easily my favorite character back in the day.

In response to the comment everyone's replying to I will say, seems like a standard PR cast, and... well really there's not much else to say. Hope they do a good job.

Random question. What's this about a silver ranger? Is this supposed to be related to the second season, or are they making a new sixth ranger?

I could easily be wrong, but I've been assuming that the silver ranger in Megaforce will be it's take on Goseiger's "gosei knight".
