Figuarts W CycloneJoker Reissued
 

Bandai has confirmed a re-issue of the basic "CycloneJoker" form of Kamen Rider W. This is a great opportunity for fans who missed out on the first release!

Cyclone Joker will be a retail release this November. Preorders for him and all other November releases should open very soon!

Yeah, those days are LONG gone. When it did it get to the point pre-orders sell out instantly again? The Kiva Emperor/Dark Kiva/Hyper Kabuto batch was it?

Hrm..I see they haven't resolved the Cyclone black elbow joint issue.

I wouldn't call it an issue, so much as a precaution. If they'd painted it green, then the paint would run the risk of flaking off. I've heard of people having the metallic green paint flake off of the body itself, so with the added risk of motion, it'd just end up being an unnecessary cost.

They could always just mold it in green. They did that with Sentai Figuarts, why not with W?

Because the Double figuarts came out a year before Sentai Figuarts ever came out.

It's a re-release of the main form of one the most popular Rider shows since forever. Surely they could afford to change the color of plastic on a few parts.

It's a re-issue, not a re-release. It's exactly the same figure they released before. I agree that he could have used a new head mould, better paint job and fixed joints.. but it's not a huge deal. A completely new figure would have slowed down the release of more important figures who haven't been released at all yet.

except I would bet the pieces are gang-molded with those from the other side, so it might not be trivial to mold them in a different color. I admit it would be nicer that way, but I honestly don't care. I'll just be glad to have him.

This was one of the nicest Figuarts back then. I highly recommend it to anyone, I love mine a lot!

Despite my previous statements, CJ is now on pre-order from HobbySearch, along with Knight Survive. Is it November yet?
