Cast Thoughts
 

Okay people. The new cast has been set, so far, and now we have an idea who will be playing what. Some of previous experience. Ciara for example has been in iCarly, Days of our Lives, and Revenge. So what are your thoughts?

I'm optimistic. I've seen Ciara act so I know she can, she was excellent on Days and Revenge. Andrew looks excellent for the Red Megaforce Ranger. Christina I haven't seen before. And John, Blue Mega, looks like Wild Force Blue's older brother. (No Seriously, go watch WF.)

I think this will be an alright cast. Then Samurai set the bar so low they can only really be better, but still.

Have to see them act first. Sure, it's very hard to be worse than Samurai's acting (not inpossible though), but they can still can be worse than Wild Force (which also has awful acting).

I wish they picked someone else to be Gokai Red

Sure, I can picture him being Alata, but I just can't picture him being Marvellous...of course, I maybe proven wrong once the first episode premiers

If he acts more like Marvellous than Alata, I can live with it.

What was wrong with Alata? I love him and Eri's dynamic, and their acting.

Wild Force is still one of my favorite seasons. Yes, the acting was bad. But I didn't know what bad acting was untill the first episode of Samurai. Acting so bad you'd swear they were in a Star Wars prequel.

Ciara we know can act. I've seen some of her stuff on Days, and she's good. Course she was in a soap opera. But still. My hopes are very high.

I think it was Days, it might've been All my Children. I don't know, she watches so many they all run together into one long horrible plot that won't end.

I gotta say that Yellow and Pink are both very attractive. Never thought I'd see that.

This talk of Alata to Marvelous has me wondering just how much they'll have to change the characters. It's not hard to distinguish their personalities from their fighting styles, is it?

Red looks like a bad ass, Pink and Yellow are pretty hot (better than the samurai rangers), and Blue looks like a clown. I'll judge once I see the first episode.

Erika and Brittany's problem wasn't their appearance. I thought they were very pretty, anyway. It was acting ability.

And on that. Maybe they shouldn't be completely to blame on that front. Maybe the reason it sounds like kids reciting a play, is because they aren't acting. They're just reading directly from the Shinken script.

This years cast and what little we've heard from the direction Saban intends to take gives me good vibes about Megaforce. Really, the only problems I had with Samurai were the story, acting and dialogue. Fix those three and we'll have a great series with beautiful visuals and awesome action.

Precisely why Samurai was accused of being a Shinkenger translation. So, here's hoping Megaforce could improve on that.

I am surprised by how attractive Yellow and Pink are. If the acting's decent I may start watching.
