So the main KyuRenOh release is Red, Blue, Black, Green and Yellow with the other 4 being sold separately.
I'd love it if they put together a boxset with all 9 but that seems unlikely. |
Makes me wonder if they're going to make a second Main body Voyager next quarter and what consultation it will be
|
How much do we expect this to be? I really actually kinda want this and much rather pick this up over whatever BOA shits out when they adapt it.
Love the individual forms of the secondary zords, especially the robot modes. And KyuRenOh looks AWESOME. |

Not really feeling it, myself. There are some things I like, but overall, I'm not sold.

But that's about it. Maybe Washi Pink too. |
I'm going to say this looks... solid. Not a favorite, but it looks about right. Like, a step back towards stuff like GaoKing and such.
|
This...is....AWESOME!!! When the hell is the morpher coming out?!
|
Preorders aren't even up yet. WTF?
|
Well I won't be collection from this show.
For the people that are make sure you have a fat wallet so Bandai can drain you dry by the end of Feb. Annnd for the rest of the year.lol |
I like the orb gimmick but the zords and overall combined mode look too brick-like. Doesn't really look like the lion that forms the body really transforms at all. I'm excited to start seeing reviews of how it turns out but I probably won't be getting any this time around.

That Kyutama gimmick seems like Kyoryuger all over again. Although I'm almost certainly going to pick up the I-assume-inevitable minipla, the DX toy here is an easy pass for me. There's barely any transformation involved in any of these, and I'm growing less and less enamored of Sentai mecha limbs that are just the untransformed components attached. (I'm looking at YOU, Gekiatsu Dai-Oh.) The Kyutama's placement is kind of a neat idea, and kind of something that guarantees that the limbs can't have articulation. I think I like Hebitsukai Silver's mecha the best: it actually has some transformation to it! Ditto the Tenbin Gold's Libra. I'm curious as to why these are the two team members with robot component mecha like Shinobimaru and Rodeomaru. I'd expect those for the red/10th heroes. Washi Pink's falcon is great as a standalone, although I'm not fond of it as an arm. In fact, I like most of the mecha designs, just not as limbs for Kyuren-Oh. Despite my misgivings, I like all of these dramatically more than most Zyuohger mecha. It's just no Gekitouja or MagiKing, design-wise. |
These are awesome! Galaxies (Pun intended) better than the garbage fire that was Zyuohking.
|
The main mecha do look pretty good. I'll wait for a review, but I think there's a good chance that I'll get the main set. None of the additional mecha look all that good as replacement limbs, so if I'm not sure I'll get any of them.
Hopefully we'll get some good shots of the changer here soon. I have a feeling that'll be another really thempting purchase. |
Remind me to, Dairenoh, Gingaoh and Geki Touja. Overall looks cool and unique.
|
I'm kinda liking how these look. But also kinda unimpressed
Either way I'll probably end up getting at least the initial 9 Speaking of which. Pre-orders are now up at HLJ for all 9, kyuza weapon and the seiza blaster |

Though I'm hoping that the crystals will be clear plastic and not having to apply some decal to a round surface. Though thinking ahead to future mecha, I can't help but to see the 2 clips on the top of Washi Pink (toward the tail). That screams wing backpack. |
Should note, all the other KyuRanger stuff coming out in February already has official images/information up in places. Including the minipla for those interested.
http://bandai-a.akamaihd.net/bc/img/...00112318_2.jpg It does look quite good. But I guess that's off-topic. I share sentiments with others on the DX mecha. It looks alright, but the lack of transformation is kinda disappointing. I also don't really like Shishi Voyager's head or how it looks as a helmet. Eh. |

This is the line that US and Japan helped design together, right? (I don't need the minutiae, just the basic gist.)
I'm not sure it got enough input. This is absolutely a line I'll be skipping. I can't find anything to like about it, sadly. The scorpion looks a bit neat, but the rest of it just seems like a bricky (more than usual, of course) mess. I admit that Gobuster strayed too far from previous designs of recent years, but it wanted to try something new. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I wasn't sold on Dino Charge at first, in fact it had to come from BOA for me to finally take the leap. (I was glad I did in the end, however.) This? I'm not at all sold. Not even the minipla swayed me. Heck, I'd even take more of the trains over this mess. I'll even take Ninja Steel over this (and I'm not buying Ninja Steel...) I'm a bit sad. I was looking forward to cool new mecha and I love seeing what Sentai has up their sleeves next. This covers neither of those criteria. =\ |

It's nice to see that the belt has a purpose. Won't be something I get, but it's nice to see that it'll have a use for those that do. |
I like it. Reminds me a bit of GaoRanger and Hurricanger's mechs.
|
The limbs are far more better looking than shishi but I do wish they showed us all of their forms as five are not shown as legs and wolf is not shown as an arm. Until I seem them in those forms I can't give an accurate opinion other that scorpion and eagle look boring.
|
The minipla looks much better I think. Will probably pick it up from Mandarake instead of buying a case.
|
|
I so want this to be the power rangers team after the ninja steel seasons.
|
I like this more than I expected to. Enough to actually want the sucker, for sure. Too bad I'm overextended this month on preorders.

Pros:
I love the individual painted eyes. The gimmick items look pretty cool, and I'd be interested to see how the combined mode looks with switched out globes. The constellation theme is pretty solid. Some nice articulation on the humanoid mechs. Combined mode looks satisfyingly chunky. Cons: Mixed level of detail on the individual mechs; Washi and Ookami look very biological while the others don't. Yet another torso-limb-limb-limb-limb set up. Combined form has no real hands, and looks like its shoulders are too far forward (holding off for in hand images on that thought). Shishi mech looks disconcertingly torso-like. 8 limb mechs on day 1 is a worrying sign. |
HES SO CHUNKY!!!!! I love it!
|
I like them design wise but the whole limb swap thing kinda bores me. Still need to collect zyuohger mech so ill wait on these. Like the glowing gimmick tho

I've had problems with clear plastic mini-pla sets, but the crystals are pretty static, so hopefully it'll be a non-issue. |

That image is getting me really excited for the minipla. Look at those color separations! Although I can make out some clear stickers, it looks like each mecha will involve at least three color sprues (including the Kyutama,) so it seems that like the Zyuohger minipla, stickering will be at a minimum. It looks like it keeps at least some of the jaw joints from the DX versions. Elbows (albeit without much range) and a waist! What looks like rocker ankles!
It also doesn't look like we have to actually handle/move the clear parts after assembly, which is when the clear plastic becomes problematic. Looks like there's a sticker or two inside. (I could be wrong if there's a reason to rotate them.) |
That looks sooo clunky.
|
For those interested in the minipla, Amiami has it up, both as a standard 12-box assortment, and a set of just the six actual components.
So, you know, that's convenient. |
So everything apart from Red can be an arm or a leg?
I like that it's interchangeable, but we do need another torso bot down the line. |
