Dan was just channeling his dick-supreme mode today.

I am a bit mad about Emu not using Bakusou Bike to chase down Motor Bugster.

We should probably call "EXCITE" an ending instead of an opening from now on.

This was an amazingly solid episode. One thing I really like is how (much like most of the people here) Genm pointed that Parad destroyed Revol. If I'm not mistaken, I think that Parad explained that participating in the games was the "way of the Bugster" but I'm not certain. It's really cool to me how well this seems thought out. Plus, it looks like we might have confirmation that Genius gamer M is the real Emu, if so, that would be amazingly unique.

Oh....why this episode not have opening scenes again?

Kuroto's personality condition become worse and worse...

Emu's finally know about his body already has game virus.....

The best thing in this episode is Para-DX vs Genm. Para-Dx looks more dangerous when he become more serious in battle...and Para-DX can win easly.

Next episode...Hiiro will obtain Gashat Gear Dual Beta.....and it seems his Brave Taddle Fantasy Gamer can summon Bugster Virus.....

Kuroto is just such an asshole, my goodness.

The beatdown Parad laid on Genm was amazing, kickass, and completely satisfying.

Just, holy crap, what an episode. From our two resident m. dicks continuing to show their caring sides, Kuroto just continuing to be an absolute madman, Parad finally losing it...just, man. This episode is golden.

And we finally find out what Kamen Rider Chronicle is! Well, one could sort of see it coming since last episode with the title screen showing all those Riders, but Kuroto really is planning to turn people into Riders in some sort of twisted survival game over which he presides as god. Dude's got so many issues.

Curious about that mystery new Genm pres. I wouldn't assume he's anyone of importance, but they did the "blocking out the face with glare" thing, so...it might be. No idea what it could be or how it could prove relevant, but I'm sure it could be important.

Ex-Aid continues to pump out great episode after great episode. Really enjoying this show a ton.

Yeah, I'm very glad that they addressed this already. It confirms what we thought Parad's viewpoint is, and honestly makes perfect sense for a video game character. He's cool with whatever as long as it's the result of a rule-abiding, serious game. What Kuroto has been doing is anything but. The Bugsters may be monsters and villains, but Kuroto is just on another level.

Great overall episode.
Next episode is finally level 50 Brave. From the looks of it, he may lose control of it for a moment? His eyes were red initially then were yellow in the next scene.

I really don't have the thought process to properly articulate how I felt about this episode. Just holy hot damn was it good.

I think barnstenchfartface pretty much summed up, better than I ever could, what this episode was to me. Do we still not know what happened to Dan's father? If I missed something, someone please point it out to me. Because that's a loose end I want to see tied up.

That fight where Parad owned Gemn... amazing.

Oh I was pissed about that too. I mean, it is kind of Lazer's corpse, but he was okay with using it once before. Plus, Emu, you're a RIDER! RIDE, DAMN IT!!

Also, Revol shot at Parad. He brought it upon himself. The Burger Bugster and Motor one didn't attack Genm, and from what the raw showed Motor didn't disobey Genm. So Genm's just being sadistic, while Parad was retaliating.

All have god complexes, but if Genm was Banno, he would have uploaded a cruel fail-safe into Parad by now to prevent him from betraying him. Or just to abuse him for the lolz. Then again, at this point Genm has beaten all of the hero riders legitimately, with his loss only coming about this episode because he stupidly pissed off his over-powered ally (who he chose to give that power, so that's a stupid villain move on his part).

I say Genm's more crazy, as Ryouma at least didn't give any pedo smiles. Plus he's made himself the head enemy, rather than the head human douche in the face of an otherworldy forest invasion.

Seems like the bugster's existance is a lot more nuanced than expected. While they have no intention of protecting human life, the enemies are in an agreement to play in a game, explaining why Parad acts like this. My theory is that there will be three factions fighting each other: The Bugsters, C.R., and Genm corp with their own artificial bugsters.

Christ, this episode starts out completely no nonsense, then shows how insane Kuruto's become, more conflict with Hiiro and Emu, Parad's honour, Kuruto's pettiness and just how good the show is. This is very fast paced as this is the kind of episode that takes place in the mid-30's usually

Dear sweet Goddess. This episode. I think everyone has said everything for me already. Can't wait for next week. Although, I do wonder if we'll ever see the Bugster version of Emu?

Can we just take a moment to appreciate & give a round of applause to Kuroto Dan's actor?! I mean, this guy knows how to pull off a character with two very polarizing personas: One who was a plain-looking president, and the other being a madman psychopathic villain who is very, VERY quickly climbing up to be one of the most twisted & demented Kamen Rider villains in the franchise. Seeing his facial expressions and just the way he looks now in comparison to back in the old days of him running Genm Corps made me really see just how far this character has gone, and how well his actor pulled off the look.

GREAT Episode of Ex-Aid this week. This clarified a LOT of things that were unclear before on different character motivations. Hiiro asking for Emu's Gashats AGAIN this Episode at first annoyed me, but it wasn't until he said something that I couldn't believe I missed out on: "I don't want to lose the patient right in front of my eyes." Now, I don't mean that I missed out on the obvious fact that Hiiro doesn't want Emu to die. But I'm referring to the fact that Hiiro was mostly asking for the Gashats because of the increasing symptoms they have when used by Emu, and instead of being punishing like last time, this time he's doing this for Emu's good.

I also love how they went ahead and clarified on Palad's actions a few Episodes killing off a Bugster, yet getting mad when Genm does it. I heard a couple complaints on that hypocrisy going on, and I'm glad the show actually addressed that and justified why it makes sense. And might I just say, GOD, PALAD, you didn't have to do him like that!!! MY GOSH, Dan made a HUGE mistake by giving him the strongest Gashat thus far!!!

Get this. He also has an actual medical licence and is the only Rider actor on the show who wasn't a doctor at first

If Emu is a bugster and M is original - and Emu is dissappear so that means M can't transform again, why M can transform ?

Honestly, we'll have to wait for next week for that to be answered

Hiroki Iijima (Emu's actor) also did really great. I wanted to hug him tightly when he started shaking in denial

The strange thing is it does'nt feel like Emu is the main character which is a good thing. The series is really giving every character enough time and focus to get their actions and motivations across which this episode is a stellar example of. And of course props to Kuroto Dan here and I wonder if Pallad will be a sort of a lone agent anti-hero possibly becoming the final boss.

That scene near the end. Where Dan truly shows himself as the bastard that he is. It has Hiiro, Taiga, AND Pallad charging at Dan. That scene for some reason just hits me the hardest. Not in an emotional way, but just the tension in it that makes all 3 of them run at the same time.

Genm is a psychopath. No other way to put it. He is just pure psycho.

There's not much to say that hasn't been by most on this thread. One of the best KR episodes I've watched in a very long time. Ex-Aid is definitely in my top five series.

Wow never thought I would see a rape face in kamen rider. Also I just love the fact the Dan was just sitting there waiting for CR I wish he was reading a book just to add to it. And I am sure no one was expecting that Chronicle would turn the world into a giant gladiator ring forcing people to fight.

Holy shit, I think this cemented Ex-Aid as amongst my Top 3 Rider shows. Just.....where do I even begin?


Dan is a creepy bastard and his actor needs to be commended. By far the creepiest Rider villain I've ever seen, he makes Professor Banno look like a lost puppy. It's just crazy how up to this point, he went from cold and calculated to just batshit insane.

Hiiro admitting that he wants to save Emu nearly brought a tear to my eye. For as aloof as Hiiro is, deep down he still cares about Emu. Him saying he cares about the patient right in front of his eyes just really hit me. Even Taiga to an extent seems to want to save Emu in his own unique way. It really is interesting how the "rival" Rider characters only do so out of interest of saving his life.

Genm mentioning that he wants to create a world where civilians turn into Riders and fight to survive. Did anybody else get major Ryuki vibes from that?

And poor Emu. Nicest guy on the entire freakin' show and his world is just completely shattered. You really do just want to give him a hug.

Parad is also starting to slowly become my favorite Rider on the show. His childlike demeanor that completely disappears once he's pissed off and the fact that, even though he wants to defeat our hero, he has a strict code and honor about it, much like Heart. He also went totally apeshit on Genm and I loved it.

I also loved the scene where all three riders ran at Genm to prevent him from spilling the beans. It's crazy how these characters that are pretty staunchly against each other are starting to unite for a common cause.


Do I even need to say it? I love this show.

So yeah, not much else to really say that hasn't been said already.

The only thing of note I haven't seen anyone else mention yet is that the game Tsukuru is making will probably end up being either Ex-Aid's mid-season or final form gashat.

Also it appears that we'll be meeting M next episode, I would love it if this show went one of two ways:

1. Emu doesn't come back, and this marks the end of the show's "Emu" arc. With M becoming the new MC.

2. Dan finishes developing Kamen Rider Chronicle, and Emu comes back to fight him as KR Chronicle's Bugster.

I wonder if M will be capable at being the proper "Ex-Aid" though, as I see it Ex-Aid is a double rider that requires both in order to truly work, similar to Kamen Rider W, though the next episode will give us that info I assume.

It is nice to see the main hero (( Emu )) as potentially one of that seasons monsters again.

This is not a case of turning into that seasons monsters either, the character has been split since before the season began story wise. We have had previous riders that are essentially the same as that seasons monsters, the majority of early riders fall into this catagory like Kamen Rider ichigo or Kamen Rider Kiva in more recent times.

I could mention others but that would be a bit of a major spoiler, with Ichigo and Kiva you know from the get go.

You pretty much sum it up great just what I feel about this show.
