So what will he be using?

The Lion Fire Fortress Zord is certainly impressive, but the fact the Megazord looks so puny sitting in it is a real problem. Adding all the other features don't seem worth it in the face of that.

EDIT: Wait a sec its only $100 in the US? Either the price has changed or the UK is REALLY getting screwed over here then :/

I am so happy to see the Gold Rangers Morpher as a Star like the others & not that dumb burger morpher thing.

How much will the Lion fire fortress Zord be?

I like that they're doing armored figures in the standard line. The armored gimmick rangers aren't worth getting imo. The figures of their training gear is kinda surprising. They look kinda like Foot soldiers.
Probably somewhere around $100.

Indeed, especially when you don't make badguys that the Megazords can fight anymore.

I'm very content in my decision to skip this season. And the revlation about Star? Yes... *Cackles* Now just make him a vegan hipster!

So, I am I the only one who's noticed a distinct lack of the Astro Zord and the Buffalo Rider Zord in these images, despite the fact that the main page says they're there? I only know that they're called that because I went to MMPRToys' video and saw them there.

The Lion Fire Fortress Megazord looks like a cheap over sized Chinese knockoff.

Id wish they did. Idk how the sales would be but if i was a kid id hella want those.

Is that the official Ninja Steel names for UFO and Bison King?

In the MMPR video Bruno refers to them as the "UFO Megazord" and "Bull Rider Megazord", though he wasn't entirely sure about the second one.

Also, I read in a random interview (I'll post it if I can find it again) that the extra zords (elephant, ufo, etc) are only going to be released via the Megazord repaints. Which really sucks, as I was kinda hoping they would eventually do a set of all of them and their Megazord hats together.

I like the Lion Fortress Megazord as a concept. The missing paint is unfortunate but expected and it looks decent in both modes. But the combination with the Ninja Steel Megazord is extremely disappointing.

Bull Rider Megazord was there ... but no pictures taken. You'd have to ask Tom or gogglev :p

PRN interview with Bandai suggested from Bandai that the auxiliary zords were not going to be released on their own, only as new Megazord color releases. Which works out fine seeing as there's only like 4 anyways and this line has to last 2 full years.

It seems as though they increased the size of Lion Ha-Oh just to incorporate 5 in. figures instead of a micro figure, just like the Ninja Steel Megazord can incorporate a standard Ranger figure! It's awkward that they revealed this now instead of during the "Super" reveals because the promotional pic behind the display shows Akaninger in that "Transcendent" Mode!

Well since there's not as many Zords in Ninja Steel as there was in Samurai/Super Samurai, Megaforce/Super Megaforce, and Dino Charge/Dino Super Charge, I can see why they did it.

In fact, I'm willing to bet we'll see Lion Fire Megazord and potentially the combination with Ninja Steel Megazord/Bison Rider Megazord right before we head into the second half of Ninja Steel (Super Ninja Steel) next year.

Just had an idea for the auxillary zords. Since they're not going to release the normal versions of them without a repaint of the Megazord, what if they were to repaint them and their hats and release them in 2-packs or as sets with Ranger figures?

Probably not going to happen, but it would be an interesting compromise imo.

Yeah thats the thing I really like about this Megazord. Still would have liked for them to find a way to make the combination with the Ninja Steel megazord to look a lot more natural and show accurate.

Its not super terrible but man it still kinda sucks.

So the Megazord is normally the same size as Shurikenjin, and BoA is cheap AF, but they made Lion Fire Fortress BIGGER than Lion HaOh despite keeping it the same size being a cheaper way to go...

Yeah but it is nice if they where here on the site, going into a YouTube video just to look at some images is not as convenient.

Except that there are problems with that in so much as there would be pegs and ports for Bison King that wouldn't fit anything BoA...so they'd still be doing some retooling and releasing a smaller toy for probably about the same price.

I'll probably buy this because I'm a sucker for base bots and I want to encourage the idea that large "carrier zords" are still a viable toy in our market.

I love the big base...bigger the better. For too long we have had smaller zords and megazords. About time we get one that is bigger.

I love the idea and $100 for something that size is fine imo.

I want BOA to know we are willing to pay for quality.

You know, if they applied more paint to the bottom of the Lion Fortress to look like legs, it could've looked like the Ninja Steel Megazord was piloting it's own mech, rather than sitting in a really tall chair

As previously mentioned, what about the US "Bison King?"

I highly doubt it's compatible.

Also, Bruno's use of the word is quite lax, considering the hats don't fit. So it's sorta pointless anyway.

Is the BoA version of Bison King able to combine with the other two like with the Japanese version? from what I see of where the torso would go, clips are missing, and I can't tell about if the gaps in the combined form's hands would hold the legs for the cannons.
