S.H.Figuarts Ex-Aid Hunter Action Gamer Level 5 Revealed
1 Attachment(s)
July 2017 release for 6264 yen. Appears to be mass retail.
|
Wow I did not foresee this coming out so soon and retail.
The first Ex-aid Figuart I will be buying looks really good. |
I've not been watching Ex-Aid really, so I'm unfamiliar with this suit.
It looks utterly ridiculous, in a good and hilarious way. I want it. |
This is a weird choice to go with for the fourth Ex-Aid figuart, like I would have thought Genm, Lazer, any of the Level 3's lol. Still I love this form so I am going to have this.
|
Well that's an unexpected choice. And an easy pass so oh well.
|
I totally expected at least Gekitotsu Robots Ex-Aid before this. Or Lazer.
Oh well, aside from standard Ex-Aid and Zombie Genm I don’t really want anything from that show in SHF form. |
Unexpected , hope we get Dangerous Zombie soon.
|
Honestly, Dangerous Zombie would probably be the only SHF I'd want- his suit is the coolest.
Him and Level 100 Ex-Aid. |
If I was to ever buy Ex-Aid related figuarts I probably would aim for the three main riders in their level 2 form and Lazer if available.
|
I'd rather have Gekioutsu Robots, but this being retail is a good sign.
|
I think Gekioutsu Robot will be webshop. If we got Dragon Hunter first I guess that form is more important to bandai.
It kinda like Gaim pine arms was webshop that how I see it. |
I still love how ridiculous that suit looks, this is something I gotta buy.

I went heavily in on the LVUR line until Paradox and Genm Dangerous Zombie, and owning that significantly dampens my enthusiasm for the Figuarts. I thought it was too goofy when I first saw it, but I assumed it'd grow on me. It hasn't. The appeal of the LVUR is that you can parcel the parts out among the other Riders. This can't do that. I don't mind it in its piecemeal form, but together... Hm. I think it's that I don't buy it as a video game thing. Ideally, stuff from this show should feel like video game stuff adapted to Rider suits. This feels like a toy line, period. (The show also didn't really sell me on the suit as a story device, particularly since it immediately dashed to a more story-significant upgrade.) It'll move better than the LVUR, but that bulky armor is still going to hinder articulation. I'm sure it's true to the in-show suit, but the bar across the back and the feet dangling from the calves are just unsightly. The colors are naturally much better than the LVUR, but... Eh. The photos here don't appear to show optional hands, and although I expect the Gashats will be removable and exquisitely-painted, I've seen no indication that any Ex-Aid Figuart is coming with hands designed to hold them. With all that said, I hope this figure excites people and sells really well. I really want Genm Dangerous Zombie, Lazer Chambara Gamer, and Paradox, and I'm hoping - probably in vain - that they won't all be web exclusives. My complaining aside, it's REALLY nice to see news of multiple Rider Figuarts again. |

I am kind of surprised. I was convinced we would see Genm Zombie Gamer Level X before we see this figure. Interesting.
|
Looks good, but I'm not sure if I want to get him or not. Still wondering if Genm's lvl2 will be retail or exclusive. I would hope that him, Lazer lvl3, and Paradox's lvl50 are all retail.
