Kuroto's plans are reaching their endgame. What secret has the Dangerous Zombie been hiding all this time???

This episode....whew was this a trip. Dan became even more crazy. Plus Taiga tried using a MaxMAX Gashatto before Emu uses his bugster powers on it. Overall cool episode, really nice. Dan is shaping up to be a pretty deranged guy.

Few things of note from the livestream:

-Looks to be another plot/revelation heavy episode.

-The Mighty Maximum Gamer gashat was apparently going to be a game with a Monk exorcising the spirits out of zombies (kinda clever in my opinion), before Hiiro gives them Kiriya's laptop.

-Dan is pretty much Dr. Banno levels of insane now, with the extreme evil laugh as well.

-Neat little character moment with Taiga letting Hiiro use the Gear Dual B only because he'll be in possession of a stronger gashat in a few minutes.

-Dangerous Zombies' basic goons now have clones of Lvl 10 DZ among their ranks.

-And Maximun Gamer looks alright in motion based off the two seconds we see it in the preview.

Charley Bugster looks cool.. :D

Dan still villain even Emu already help him.....

Hmm...so in this episode, Dan already has Chronicle Gashat? But at the end of this episode, he still need Drago Knight Hunter Bugster data and DoReMiFa Beat Bugster data...

Next episode...Ex-Aid Maximum Gamer Level 99 :D ...If Dan killed in next episode, probably Chronicle Gashat will fall into Pallad's possession....

I hope we has actual Zombie Hunter Monk Gashat in future....

Hmm..maybe Poppy will become Rider in around episode 28....

It really is starting to feel like Kuroto is going to kick the can very soon. The way the story is building things up I can't see how he could reasonably last beyond this arc, if not next episode. Pretty much all his secrets are out in the open, this is, as Nico and Parad aptly put it, a really last stage, last boss type of development, and now that I think about it the way the last catalog worded the Chronicle Gashat's creation is suspicious as hell.

Not to mention that Kiriya, his most notable victim, is becoming ever more relevant. I fully expect that to culminate in Emu using Kiriya's Driver as a replacement next episode when he uses the Maximum Gashat--which itself was made by the game-dad of his other big victim and is loaded up with a program provided by Kiriya. What else could be more appropriate for the final battle? In a sense, he'd be taken down by all four heroic Riders' efforts. They couldn't set things up any better for his defeat.

Also that "my dream is immortal" line in the previews is exactly the kind of thing a boss would says before dying.

'course, Kuroto exiting the stage at this stage would present some big problems, particularly in regards to Chronicle's creation and use. One way or the other, I expect that the series will end up being bifurcated structurally, into pre- and post-Chronicle completion arcs. It's so strange to think we still have more than half the show to go...but I expect Chronicle will be a pretty big deal for that half.

But anyway, that's just my blabbering about the unknowable future.

As far as this episode goes, it was pretty good. More information! More nice character moments (despite what they would have us believe, it is quite obvious Taiga is this show's true tsundere)! More Kuroto being a petty little shit (even as a teen)! Bike stunts!

Kinda curious about how exactly Kuroto managed to infect himself with the Sports virus though...pretty sure he had the same immunity the others did (kinda hard for me to make out what he was saying when the others asked him how he was infected but I'm pretty sure he says that too...'course, could be a lie?) because if he wasn't he really...should have been infected ages ago. Maybe shooting up with it straight up the jugular makes it more effective, somehow? Who even knows. Also kinda suspect that they didn't notice he kept the Bugvisor in his hospital robes or whatever, but hey, plot.

Anyway, needless to say, very hype for what comes next.

Yum! The writers really know their shit about video games honestly, so many references and game-y moments. First of all, I genuinely want to applaud these guys, second, eat SHIT SAO! Third, the show has been nothing but a wild ride for quite a while. You'd think that the show would become a bit... stale by now but no, they even cut the goddamn opening to have more screen time

Also, if I'm right about Wesker, give me a goddamn Nemesis Bugster despite not being a Resi fan

I feel so bad for the rider series that has to replace Ex-Aid, I mean damn.

So if level 50 gashats caused permament changes to the battles, what wil happen if a level 99 enters the frey? My guess is the opening song for Mob Psycho 100 called 99 will play.

If Kuroto does die in the next episode, whose gonna complete Kamen Rider Chronicle. My guess it'll be Daddy Dan.
This whole Bugster nonsense started all because Kuroto was being a petty little turd and didn't want to have an equal in game design. With the way things are progressing with Dan's backstory, this pretty much screams the end of Kuroto, so I actually can't wait for the next episode.

I've been assuming for awhile now that Dan won't make it far past the show's midpoint. I'm not sure who comes after him, but I'm going to be really surprised if he's the show's big bad.

Maybe Parad would be the new big bad after Kuroto, since he's the only other being who wanted Kamen Rider Chronicle to be complete...

I've said this before, but I'm (half) hoping that the big bad after Kuroto ends up being Graphite, simply because it'd be hilarious if Genm's fake-out identity turned out to be not only more important but also the only one to really benefit from all of Kuroto's efforts (especially after he threw him under the bus). Also the colors match Chronicle.

Only half, though, cause like, important though he may be to Hiiro and Taiga's pasts, he doesn't really feel like that interesting a character? Like it'll be great when he comes back so we can get some closure, but...who knows.

Hmm.....what if DoReMiFa Beat has two different Bugsters (Asuna as female version and other as male version) because we has two version of DoRemiFa Beat Gashats (Asuna version and DJ Boy Version)

If Asuna is only DoReMiFa Beat Bugster, maybe she will absorbed by Gashacon Bugvisor to complete Kamen Rider Chronicle Data...

Hmm....we already has 10 main Bugsters from First 10 Rider Gashats. I am really want we has other Bugsters from Dangerous Zombie, Perfect Puzzle, Knockout Fighter, Taddle Fantasy, Bang Bang Simulation, and Hyper Muteki.

I always though my Asuna was the protagonist of DoReMiFa Beat because in that one episode where Emu's Bugster took over, he was playing the game and Poppi was his character. So I was thinking the game is a dance contest between Poppi and the real Bugster.

But who's he gonna get to complete it. He maybe a gamer, but he doesn't know anything about game design. That's why he kept Kuroto around for so long, even if he is batshit crazy.

Highly unlikely since the dude got the flowers on his death episode.

Well he is going to return even though he got his flowers, the magazine scans have confirmed it.

I honestly can't believe it, but I somehow got suckered by Kuroto this episode. When he's first infected I noticed that it looked like he was stressing himself out on purpose to draw out the Bugster. Then he started being all "DON'T LET ME DIE PLZ!" and I thought that I might have been wrong. And then tHAT FREAKING ENDING!! ARGH!! WHY ARE YOU SUCH A MAGNIFICENT BASTARD!? WHY ARE YOU SO HILARIOUSLY CREEPY!? WHY DID YOU SLICK YOUR HAIR BACK I liked the old style better.

*sigh* why is this show making me so emotional?

When you get the flowers, it just means you're not a regular cast member. But they still make appearances as guests.

How long will he return though? A character can come back after their actor has got their flowers, but generally only as a guest star. Yuya from Gaim was an example of this only coming back for episode 40 and the movie, but we're not talking about the movies sooo.

Generally being an operative word. 'course, I don't know anything about what goes on behind the scenes, and it hasn't happened before, but is there really anything that strictly prevents a dropped regular from becoming a regular again? This is just me, but I feel like it'd be weird if there was.

Of course I'm just spitballing here, but...yeah. Most likely scenario he will just guest for a few weeks.

She really cute and funny at same time in episode 19 when Emu play DoReMiFa Beat game....

I hope Asuna's true past will be revelead....

About Graphite, in magazine scans, Graphite with Pallad along with other Bugsters. Maybe they will prepares for Chronicle systems?

I know there isn't any formal rules for returning actors I'm just kinda going on past experiences up til this point.

Waiting for the Excite subs to watch this one (I'm liking them more than the speed subs again lately), but I do have some thoughts just based on what I've heard, which I'll expand on when I actually watch it:

1. Really kind of wish they'd had some small appearance change for Dangerous Zombie's powerup. Not a new suit or anything, but like...a different design for his (un)life meter maybe? It was especially weird with his transformation last episode, with the big explosion and build up to...the exact same suit. Kinda underwhelming, you know?

2. I also feel like the "game about killing zombies" idea is super cool and fits in really well with the theme, and it's almost disappointing we'll technically be getting Maximum instead of that!

But I suppose it's better than Ex-Aid turning into Onari, because that artwork is almost definitely a reference to him. Would still be interested to see a gashat based on that game eventually though, just hopefully less...Onari-y.

I am imagine the form from Zombie Hunter Monk Gashat will be similar to Benkei Damashii.....

I wish Gemn woulda turned gun metal black while his minions stayed white, ik they are using one suit but Dan's back in black look made me think about it.

This maybe a stretch but...he's quickly topping Heart as my favorite villain (yes he's more of an anti-hero now)

Iwanaga deserves some kind of award for his performance in this series.

Cause this is possibly the best acting of a creepy villain I've seen in a while. While his plan was pretty transparent, it was the 23 minutes of getting there that made it worthwhile.

And of course he's gone Supa Saya-crazy now (slicked back), so is it wrong that I hope they drag out this battle for more than two episodes?

Also, I wish I could post the picture for Maximum, but I don't want to spoiler it for anyone. It's Gurren Laggan levels of crazy.

Agreed, Dan is the first legitimately creepy Rider villain I've seen since maybe Asakura in Ryuki, and even then I'm not entirely sure who's more unhinged.

Hot diggity Dan's actor is tremendous. He believed in the psycho character deeply.

this is only episode 22...we aren't even at the half way point and they give us THIS? I mean this is end of show level feel...dang...I need figuarts of both of Dan's forms, know this...forget ex-aid, I want just Dan toys, you understand?

The suit actor's body language when taunting Emu...just some fantastic work here. This is Ouja level evil bad rider...and from me that is saying something. I almost thought Emu's bugster was going to make a showing in all this, alas will be patient...but this is a fantastic series. Drive may have been the feels, this though just...I actually don't have words just yet...

One thing I really enjoyed about this episode is that we don't need a new coat of paint for Genm Level X, they just need to show you what it can do. Him easily beating the crap out of the Mighty Bros., the Zombie Bugsters and a copy of Genm Zombie Gamer acting entirely on their own while he was infected with his the Charlie Bugster.

The scary part is that Genm Zombie Gamer has become a soldier-style enemy but still retains enough power to withstand Level 50. Oh and the zombies in Critical Dead being Genm Clones now. All of that without having to paint over the suit to make us believe it's stronger.

And thank goodness for that because Zombie Gamer is a magnificent suit.
