favourite sentai antagonists/villains?
 

i've been watching GoGoV and I've been pretty pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy the Psyma Family. They have this really interesting internal power struggle going on thats pretty fun to watch.

what are your favourites?

Rio and Mele/Rinjuken Akugata (Confrontation Beast Fist) from Gekiranger.
I love them, their impact on the story, and their characterization is great. Easily the best villains in Sentai.

Some shout outs to Brajira of the Messiah from Goseiger for being surprisingly well done in a series that was otherwise mediocre, Radiguet from Jetman for being one of the few villains I felt was legitimately insane, and Junior from Kakuranger, just for being so damn cool to watch~

I do love Brajira and Rio too though. And all the ones from Liveman.

My absolutely favorite villian is Junior from Kakuranger.

I do not remember many villains from the very few sentais I've watched. So I will just go with the villains from Gekiranger and Toqger because I just really love their designs. I have not seen foot soldiers that were cooler than the Crows yet.

Bio Hunter Silva from Bioman ( he was my favorite part of Super Hero Taisen)

N Ma from Magiranger

Star King Bazou from Changeman

Dr Lie Khefren and Ra Deus from Flashman

Wolzard from Magiranger (even if he ended up good in the end)

Enter from Go-Busters (THE BEST, IMO)

Shadow Line from ToQger (the redeeming quality of the show that makes me like it after initially disliking it)

Damnit how did I forget Wolzard, I mean he is a purple wolf knight! Maybe he is stuck in my mind to becoming good.

Ohhh, I love this question! Villains are generally my favorite part of Sentai. If a show has lackluster villains, it usually (though not always) fails to really engage me.

Here's my list, in chronological order...

Igam from Maskman, because of their fabulous gender fuckery.
Maria from Jetman, because her arc is beautiful and made me cry over and over again.
Radiquet from Jetman, because he is fully batshit insane.
Matoba Jin from Dairanger, because he's the cruelest motherfucker in existence.
Junior from Kakuranger, because he's Billy Idol that sometimes looks like a punk camo skeleton and shreds on guitar.
Rio and Mele from Gekiranger, because of their honor, depth, and dedication to one another.
Dayuu from Shinkenger, because of her profoundly tragic backstory.
Juuzo from Shinkenger, because of his unrelenting nihilism.
Enter from Go-Busters, because of his flamboyant cruelty.
Schwartz and Gritta from ToQger, because the prove that love can bloom in the darkest circumstances.

Bio Hunter Silva(Chodenshi Bioman). Hakaider's distant cousin was BAD-FREAKIN-ASS.

Great Professor Bias(Chozyu Sentai Liveman). The things he does for personal gain is ruthless. Oh and last year the actor was the voice of Azard in Zyuohger.

Junior(Ninja Sentai Kakuranger). What Lucha said.

Bomber The Great(Choriki Sentai Ohranger). The catalyst that made Ohranger into a Game of Thrones season for kids for a few episodes.

Yabaiba(Hyakujyu Sentai Gaoranger). Good comic relief.

Manmaruba(Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger). The pain and ruckus that he caused...

Damn, I forgot about Brajira! He's pretty much the reason I stick on Goseiger till the end.

Hmm, now that I think about it I did enjoy the final arc of Goseiger thanks to Brajira. Also Alata was badass during that arc.
