Strongest Mecha in Super Sentai
 

In your opinion, what is strongest mecha in Super Sentai?

Now are you meaning individually or combined?

I'm going to vote for G-12 from Go-Onger. It was so strong that the final boss had to take most of the team out of the picture before they could use it because, as the final battle showed, G-12 can take him out with no trouble.

GokaiOh seems pretty bad (as in good - like the Powerglove), one tough customer.

But I'm sure there's some crazy abilities on some of them over the years.

Yeah, but GokaiOh does the Decade thing you have to account for in every one of these kinds of debates.

Whatever the others can do, it can do too.

Well, Daizyujin is literally God.

Great Beast God, but maybe that's one of the less powerful gods, like the Greek god of wine Dionysus or what have you. Just for the sake of debate.

Being a god does not mean much. It is not the Daizyujin is omnipotent or anything.

I think the strongest mecha is Daijinryuu from Dairanger, due to sheer power and size.
However, it's a bit of an exception because it's a neutral party anti-hero, not really a traditional mech.

Counting only ranger owned and operated, I think the title goes to SaiDaiGekiTouja or SaiDaiGekiFire.
Because they're constructs made of Geki, it would be reasonable to assume they're growth is parallel to the rangers, and all of the rangers continue their martial arts even after they finish. Add in that they were also empowered by the Beast Bloom to grow their power 10 fold, as well as reuniting Juken through the help with the Kenma, basically giving them Geki and Rinki, I figure it's a pretty damn strong robit now :p

Yeah, going by the "god" logic, Samurai Ha-Oh would clearly win. Every individual component is technically a god on its own, so together you have to imagine they're even more godly, or something.

Oh wait! The exact same thing applies to Engine-Oh G12! Yeah, my money's on that guy. Even in-show it was strong enough to be pretty much cheating.

But then, Galaxy Mega can fly into space and has like a million sword moves, so even in defeat it's still way cooler than any other Sentai robot. :p

Ya! G-12 for the win. It being one of the stronger ones makes even more sense when you remember that the 12 engines are all completely sentient and possess a heart, making them more or less actual members of the team rather then simply mecha and, as we all know, numbers are pretty much everything as far as sentai goes. It even says so during their combination, 7 humans hearts + 12 engine hearts.

God I loved Galaxy Mega. That was an awesome robo. The Mega Voyager was alright but its never going to beat Galaxy Mega.

Well, all the previous mechas. Did it use Zyuohger's mecha in their crossover (didn't watch it)?

Gokai Oh isn't Decade.
It has a very specific power set. He's not transforming into other mecha.
Additionally, they need the Ranger Keys to use them. And considering they returned the ranger keys, they're now stuck with vanilla Gokai Oh.

So how are deciding on this? What's the criteria that we're judging on exactly?

That's a good question. I just figured we were judging based on... its in series win/loss ratio maybe? I have no idea. I just 'Strongest Mecha' and instantly thought G-12.

Considering there's a comedian who's most famous for sticking his arm down his pants and acting like it's an erection (So famous for it that he has a Figma), I would say that they loved that gag.

It could have but thanks to both sides declaring a ceasefire Daimugen lived to see another day. Daijinryu is physically the biggest, does not care about the villains and heroes' intentions, and lives only to maintain the balance of the universe even if it means turning both sides into scorched burger patties from whatever fast food restaurant you love to hate.

Well, I found it funny, just on a WTF am I looking at level.

He is the epitome of shock value in Japan. He makes Rafi from The League and Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny look tame.
I did hear though that off-camera he is a polar opposite of his showbiz persona being polite and kind.

Back to why Daijinryu is strongest.
It is a raw force of nature from outer space.
It is the cosmic horror entity of Super Sentai.

if you remove haxor dragon from the equation, in terms of sheer power, the top winner is an interesting one

Horsepower is only relevant to strength relative to movement.

I know not a lot of people like Death Battle, but there tends to be a reason why the faster character wins over the stronger one 9 times out of 10...

I still would like to go with Daijinryu because again, it's the Cthulhu-or-whatever-horrid-elder-god-known of Super Sentai in a sense.

It does not care if you have fancy bracelets and feature phones that change your clothes into tight shiny spandex and lets you summon robots because those robots are like fruit flies to DAI-FREAKIN-JINRYU.

Daijinryu is likely the largest Mecha in the franchise, but don't misconstrue size for power! Kyukyoku Daizyujin, in a special Dino Super Video or something like that, was stated as having an incalculable power. Magiranger didn't use overly Giant Mecha, but it did have Near-Daijinryu-sized characters, making them comparable to a strong Mecha. In Boukenger 21, the Precious of that episode was used to enlarge Ultimate Daibouken, making it possibly the strongest for a brief period. The Rocket Drill GoBuster-Oh stopped the Big Machine in the first Taisen crossover. GaoKing and DaiVoyager received massive power-ups in their individual VS. with Super Sentai!

Except Daijinryu is more than 10 times the size of every sentai's main mecha. We only seen a tiny part of his power and is devastating. He even have other powers like hypnotizing humans to commit mass suicide. I don't think any Final Cluster Mecha like Ha-oh Shurikenjin can stop him.

Wait I thought mecha meant the robots that they pilot. If it does then Daijinryu should not count.

Daijinryuu has scary powers. He has important role in Dairanger story. I remember he can destroy one of Gorma monster just with Daijinryuu's foot.

But the Daijinryuu in Power Rangers Counterpart (Lord Zedd's Serpentera) looks very very boring because Serpentera is need more fuel like normal vehicles and Serpentera is destroyed by Cole (Wild Force Red Ranger) when Cole was riding on his new motorcycle in Forever Red Episode.

Wild Force Serpentera is a lot smaller than the original. I wish they summon their megazords and combine their power like those crossover VS episodes, but I guess they ran out of budget by getting all the red rangers together.

"Mecha" has become a very loose term in Sentai. Daizyujin, Daijinryu, Muteki Shogun, and others are considered "Mecha" even though they are technically alive. Daijinryu counts cause he isn't any different from the armored nature of Dairenoh or Won Tiger. Plus, they made a figure!

Certain types might get close. We also don't know exactly what Daijinryu's temperament would be. If he fought someone like Daizyujin, he might back off cause of their "divinity". A built Mecha might just get scrapped, but a challenge would still be attempted. It's curious why Daijinryu made no appearance in Gokaiger? Wouldn't the Great Legend War have been too noisy? He couldn't have been overwhelmed, right?

Simple. The Toei Tokusatsu Universe basically told Daijinryu to chill and watch how they deal with each other alongside some popcorn.

Maybe Daijinryu became more mad about the extensive usage of qi and you power rather than just fighting alone, if that might make more sense continuity-wise.

He's either sleeping or forgot to check his notification. The Great Legend War ended pretty quickly, so maybe he knew and retreated after seeing the aftermath.
