S.H.Figuarts Brave and Snipe Level 5 Revealed
1 Attachment(s)
Both have been announced as Tamashii Web shop exclusive items to be released in September for 5940 yen, they also both have HIT effect parts.
|
I...really want Brave.
|
I really hope these keep coming. I want to see Zombie Genm, Para-DX and Poppy.
Anyways, the hit and level-up effects are pretty cool. Too bad they weren't included with Ex-Aid himself, I don't see myself picking up these boring retools just to have them. |
Meh. Would have rather seen Genm or Lazer Lvl. 3 but I get why they did this. Might as well get the easy retool out of the way.
Actually, I'm shocked we haven't seen Genm already. Easy repaint and major character in the show. |

Is it really base though? I see Genm Level 2 as more of a parallel to Zangetsu Melon Arms - ostensibly, the base, but is never actually used after the first ten-odd episodes in favor of the more iconic Zangetsu-Shin, or, in Genm,'s case, Level X.
|
It technically is his base form, but since Genm only really started to get serious and also batshit insane once he achieved Level X and never used another form ever since I have no problem with not owning the palette-swap Ex-Aid.
Even though it will probably look quite good. |

Also if people want other riders from this line then what Bandai gives us now has to sell so we can get more stuff later. I think the next one would be either Brave Beatbox form or Lazer lv 3 form hmm which one? |
5940....For each or together? If it's for both, then hellsya! Singular though....I may have to suffer. >_<

...and they still didn't correct the color of Brave's collar. It's like they're not even paying attention. They figured out that there's a sharp color break at the shoulder for Ex-Aid and Snipe, but not Brave? Fft.
I fear this pack - that problem aside - will kill Ex-Aid Figuarts stone dead, convincing Bandai there's no demand. I fear the low cost-to-produce won't even matter. I just can't see there being that much demand for these given that they just released the extremely-similar Brave and Snipe twice, and these forms still come with some of the downsides of the LVUR figures. I hope I'm being overly pessimistic, and that these will sell terrifically well. I really, really want Dangerous Zombie Genm and the rest of the other humanoid Riders. |

Did it stop them from making more? Nope. As long as the overall line does well enough, the show itself is popular and they have characters and/or suits they know will do good they keep going. Maybe it will take a while like it did with Drive to get key-characters but I'm rather optimistic when it comes to Ex-Aid's future in the Figuarts line. |

Hopefully they'll get to the lvl 3s eventually, and I reeeeaaaally hope the Ex Aid figuarts sell well enough for us to get Maximum Gamer Lvl 99. But there is some warranty in being worried about the lines future if these sell very poorly...could end up going the way of ghost figuarts and abruptly stop before all important forms are made (rip mugen damashii and sin specter). Alternatively, ex aid figuarts could sell like proverbial hot cakes and continue multiple years after the show's conclusion, like Drive did.

To be fair, Drive Type Tridoron didn't release until a year and some change after Drive ended, so there's still hope for Mugen, although with the Ghost line pretty much being a dud, it's a bit dicey. |
