No confirmed release information yet, but this is the first official look we've ever had of the figure itself. Drive is shaping up to be one of the most complete rider lineups we've seen in years at this point if Type Special is indeed released.

How many Drive figures are we going to get? This thing looks awesome, so I'm not complaining

Eh, I could live without this one, since I prefer Dark Drive, but I'm not mad at it.

Drive Type Special is best Drive Form in my opinion. I love the black, yellow, and red color schemes. This really cool color combination. I also love the futuristic design from this form.

Hopefully some more, I really want to see Kamen Rider Lupin.

Actually, not accounting for Tire Koukans and the other Roidmude generals, we should have basically everything from Drive if Lupin ever gets released, correct?


Hopefully, they go back and at least do the movie riders for Gaim.

Someone like Den-O who actually collects Drive SHF's might be more qualified to answer that question but I do think we have almost all of them now, aside from Lupin.

There's some weird stuff like the mishmash Type Speed Wild Technic based on the drawing of Otta which Heart transforms into when he uses the Heartron Shift Car for the first time, but I doubt that will ever be released. And I'm sure Drive has its own share of bizarre stage show exclusive forms as well.

But for the most important stuff, the show and the big movies - I think aside from the Roidmude generals and Kamen Rider Lupin this is pretty much it, yes.

Even though some people might assume I'm against this because of that silly fight I had one or two months ago... I would love to see them finally being released. Mars especially, I adore his design.

I just don't think it'll happen :(

Was Gaim's movie just not popular or something? You'd figure Mars, Jam and Kamuro would be easy considering they're 60% reuse from existing Gaim molds.

Give us Jam at least, since he did appear in the actual show, even if he pretty much just existed to be a punching bag for Mitsuzane.

All things aside, I'm hoping the movie riders for Drive sell well. Feels like it's been a while since we've received ANYTHING from the movies, at least when it comes to currently airing stuff (so not including Orga). The last time I can recall is Fourze.

I know Type-High Speed is a hyper battle video thing, but you'd think it would be a given considering it's just an easy Type Speed repaint.

I don't know if the movie was popular or not, I just assume they didn't release them immediately because at the time there was still some stuff from the show to sell and when that was wrapped up the interest for more not-so-relevant Riders and forms from Gaim wasn't there anymore.

I can relate, I bought almost every Gaim SHF but had to stop eventually just because of space issues. Maybe a longer break isn't so bad after all and they will release these guys eventually?

If I learned anything it's that Tamashii isn't doing the repaint business as hard as they could. There are so many easy repaints they completely ignore, maybe they don't want to oversaturate the market? Or they know that collectors are just not interested in some things, Hyper Battle forms being among them?

I can only speculate because I don't work there and haven't talked to someone who does, it's just that I also had the thought "Easy repaint, they'll could do it" several times, but then it never happened.

You guys are forgetting the most important form: Deadheat Drive.

You mean the one from Super Movie War Genesis? The only difference being that he uses the Mach Driver to transform instead of the Drive Driver?

Well, they could do it technically, but if you have both Deadheat figures you can just swap the heads for this, right?

No, that one already has an SHF. I did mean the Deadheat Drive form from Genesis.

You can, but to be fair parts swapping easily gets you Heart Type Speed Wild Technic too, and less easily Chaser Mach.

Of course, those are more involved than a simple headswap, but still, they certainly could do it. I doubt that they will, but hey, it's there.

I agree, it is a possibility and thus worth pointing out but I also think they won't bother.

From the list Kiryu posted I can only see Lupin being released. Maybe Type Fruits but that's already stretching Drive's popularity in this line I think.

The biggest one left from the show are probably Brain and Medic though.
