With I every released image I become less of a fan of this design

I'm not too thrilled with this either, I like the headsculpt which reminds me of the Legendary Godzilla, but the rest... nah.

Not a fan of the plant motive or whatever, his skin looks like bark and the dorsal plates like leaves. Also the legs and feet... reminds me of the Grimlock toy from the most recent incarnation of RiD.

In fact, the more I look at it the more it looks like Grimlock to me :lol

All righty then. Now I'm definitely glad I didn't preorder him. That thing makes Shin look like a princess. I don't get this. Doing an anime Godzilla allows them to have freedom to do whatever they want without having an actual suit, and this fat blob thing is what they choose to go with? Why? Why not go for a more stylized thinner look?

Well it seems that this Godzilla evolved from plants , so that explains the plant motive

Well yeah but they want this Godzilla to be the different from the others, it is very similar to Biollante though

So different for the sake of being different? I assumed the content might make up for the show's visuals but I'm not so sure anymore.

Huh...I actually like it, personally. I like the head. The body's similar to 2014 Godzilla. No real problems.

Me too. The real thing giving me pause is the price tag. Wondering if I want to hold out for a NECA or more affordable domestic. The color scheme is a little one note for me but that's the design.

I hope this hits dvd one day.

The only thing I don't really like is how angular the legs are. Everything else looks great!

Except teh body is not proportionate to the legs. It looks like they gave him Showa legs but then made the rest the 2014 version.

New Godzilla, new design choices. His legs do look a tad weird but he's a monster in the end so I don't really mind it much.

Why? Cause it smiles down on its prey and has the posture of a newborn baby that just started walking? :lolol

Jokes aside though, I dunno, I like it to a certain degree but it is a tad lacking compared to the 2014 Hollywood version that had Reboot Zordon, Drift, Kickass, and Scarlet Witch which I think is the best rendition of Godzilla so far. Speaking of 2014 Godzilla, I heard Ice Cube's son who was Ice Cube in the NWA biopic is in the sequel.
