So, is this another Battride War style game, or is it a fighter? I'd much prefer BW but based on the name and the nature of the trailer, I'm gonna have to say fighter...

Its another installment in the Climax Heroes series that was around during the PS2, Wii, and PSP era. Until this one, the final game was Chou Climax Heroes for Wii and PSP. Its most notable for the fact that almost every Kamen Rider from Ichigo-Fourze was playable along with most, if not all, of their in series forms.

That being said, I'd totally get this if it were coming to the Vita. I don't have a PS4 though so...

Gundam Versus inspired?

I'm all over this. If it controls like BW but follows the VS Climax formula in an open DBZ Zenoverse/Anarchy Reigns-like arena, this could be a lot of fun to play.

From the brief bit of gameplay, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a Z-target style of fighter ala Dissidia Final Fantasy. I want to say those style of games have become super popular in Japan especially in the arcade scene.

One day they'll make a proper Kamen Rider fighting game. One day.

Who knows. This game could be a proper Rider fighting game that we could be waiting for. I hope the game will be fun since I never played any of the Climax Heroes games.

Looking at the gameplay teaser at the end of the trailer... no, it certainly won't be.

I've seen people liken the 2 seconds of footage to JoJo Eyes kf Heaven and J Stars Victory

It looks like it is using the same engine as the last PS4 Rider game. I hope we can have two player mode because I can play the game with my friends.

Lol what's idea of Proper? If this is anything like the Climax Heroes games this will be fantastic. I love those games.

A 2D/3D tournament fighter. Street Fighter, Tekken, Guilty Gear etc., something like that.

Honestly sad it's not another Battride War (especially with the level shown looking like it was ripped from Genesis). Also looks like it plays more like J-Stars Victory VS or Gundam Versus than Climax Heroes. It looks cool, just not my cup of tea.

I hope they include Showa Riders

I told myself I'd finally get a PS4 when MGS5 came out. I actually preordered the game, it came, I never bought the PS4, sold the game. Then I went through the same process with RE6. My new goal was that I'll definitely get one when The Last of Us 2 comes out. Perhaps I should push up my schedule to Dec!

For now my guess is that Showa Riders will not be in the basic game cause of how the Heisei Rider era is ending with Build. This game feels like a send-off of the Heisei Era so Showa Riders probably will not be the main focus. Plus the sheer amount of secondary riders in all 18 shows excluding Kuuga is enough extra content right there so personally I am currently skeptical about Showa Riders being added based on what is out there. But you know what though, if they can fit the Showa alumni more power to the fans. :rock: Heck if they can add Alpha, Omega, and Neo at least rock n roll. :rock:

The graphics so far look better than the last few Rider games in my opinion.

Dude, Bandai Namco wants to start some shit with that Faiz Axel form vs Kabuto Rider form fight. Let him go Hyper and lets see what happens :p

Glad to see a new climax game. Even if it's not quite the same as the previous entries.
It'll probably be pretty simple like most rider games. But hopefully also a lot of fun.

I hope some secondary Riders get in. I'd love to play as some of the other Armoured riders. And of course other ex-aid riders.
Particularly Para-DX I mean, if you're gonna do a Kamen rider fighting game. It just makes sense to include the Kamen rider based on fighting games (although Zombie Genm would also be great to play as)

It's quite surprising and also very cool that this game is actually going to get an English release (in south east Asia...) since that means I'd actually understand this game (instead of relying on a mix of guesses and my limited Japanese skills like with previous titles) but, where does one buy the south East Asian version from?

Play Asia would be your best bet but at the moment they only have the one with Chinese subs and the Japanese release available.

Why is it cheaper than every other version?

Is this game Multiplayer only or does it have Single Player and Multi player modes?

I am certain there is a VS CPU mode for single player mode

Probably both considering Kamen Rider Black is the Battlestar Galactica early 2000s reboot of Kamen Rider.

Black is it most likely because of Masked Rider.

If that's the case it should be RX.
