Here's an interesting new property-

"Power Rangers HyperForce: a licensed tabletop role-playing game to be livestreamed on Twitch's HyperRPG channel!"

This... actually sounds kinda cool. I genuinely expect the writing/dialog to be better than most PR series ( especially during fights, no more forced puns/attack names!), and it seems like they've tried to get people on board who will really get into it rather than just for promotional purposes- anything with Yoshi tends to be pretty fantastic. I've got tentatively high hopes for this one!

Who is Meghan Camarena and what do her and Christina Vee have to do with PR?

Wait, are they using another system or is this an Official Power Rangers PnP RPG?

Or am I misunderstanding entirely?

Also, after a cursory google search, Camarena is a YouTube personality with no connection I can find, and Vee is a voice actress, not a bad one by the by, who... co-hosted AnimeTV with Johnny Young Bosch? That's pretty much all I can find on it.

As always, the name of the game is to get people who follow these celebrities in to watching the show.

Peter and Paul make sense - current and former Power Rangers actors.
Andre - Saban has had him on speed dial for years, even though the larger he becomes, the more he ignores Power Rangers content
Meghan - no idea. Probably someone at HyperRPG giving her a "big break"
Vee - voice actress, though no ties to the show

EDIT: So Meghan is actually a big name YouTuber who has been on such shows like The Amazing Race (twice), and DisneyXD.

Overall, a star-studded cast with a rich background. Should be interesting.

They had me at "Time Force Academy".

So Critical Role with Power Ranger? Interesting, but a lot of how this turns out is going to depend on how seriously the players take it.

Not gonna lie, I just want to know if they plan on releasing the game books for this. Because a tabletop power rangers game is literally a dream come true for me

P.S.: What is a live-stream, table-top? I know that sounds ignorant, but I'm not that into modern gaming! Does it involve web-cams?

No images yet. Also a live-stream Table-top is where the chat are aloud to help out in the game as it happens.

Is it live-action or CGI? Do you have to use controls and commands like in normal gaming?

The cast will be the ones at a table-top moving the piece, they will also be playing the game. All we have to do is type in the Twitch chat.

So, with regards to the comment about "new suits and Zords"?

Those are made already that's the one thing the chat has no control over.

Will the suits be live-action or animation? Does the chat govern the actions and story?

I don't know that much. We will find out next week.

So what colors are we guessing for the Hyperforce Rangers?

TwitchCon is this weekend so we will find out more then, the suits might be revealed then.

I am gonna guess the classic MMPR season 1 palette. If it was super sentai Gorenger would make sense but since it is MMPR the Zyuranger palette would be more appropriate.

So in a way we will get a Black Time Force Ranger.

Considering how original this will be Zyuranger palette seems likely for me since it is the iconic lineup for Power Rangers. But then again, if they decide to go with the whole Time Force thing then the Gorenger palette probably has a shot too. I am a Gorenger palette lover personally but the Zyuranger palette is fine if they wanna go that route.

Someone else I've talked to pointed out that the colors in the logo are most likely the colors for the Rangers. Those colors are Red, Blue, Yellow, Pink, & Black.

It is only appropriate to do so cause that was the OG lineup. I am down with it. Besides, they are not doing some dream team or reusing sentai stuff so I personally approve.

Wow. They have a very Operation Overdrive/SPD/Mighty Morphin kinda look about them. Not that that's a negative thing. I actually like the look of these.

Though the Red Ranger being a lion has been kinda done to death now.

I'm foreseeing a Green Ranger as the sixth in the future.

She's actually the second revealed. The first is the one in the 1969 team of Ranger in the comics. She was revealed a week or so ago. Lol!

I'm getting Time Force vibes too.

I'm actually interested in what this thing ends up being now, especially after seeing those suits.
