A new connection has been found between Faust & the local business Nanba Heavy Industries. Could this be the key to recovering Pandora's Box?

The plot thickens, Nabashima is still alive! He has his memories!

Nice to see we have two Build Drivers in play now, even if having to share a driver could lead to some interesting dynamics.

Also, R.I.P OP, see you again in episode 24 or something or in time for the Patoranger/Lupinranger crossover or whenever.

Ep12 thoughts. It feels like an Arc just ended and a new one start next week.

- The Sento and Utsumi moments were very nice at the start of the episode. I didn't expect it announces Utsumi ends though.

- Sawa's father. A new name to add to the cast. I bet he isn't dead and will appear at some point. Or maybe he did already but the face change thing hides him.

- Sawa was badass. didn't expect her to have action scenes.

- Utsumi becoming Fake NightRogue means he had some Hazard level at some point. Maybe he was Build first real candidate but failed at some point.

- Nabeshima returning is great. The only 2 names he could say shocking Sento would be "Gentoku Himuro" or "Isurugi Souichi". But I guess a possibility of Katsuragi asking Nabeshima "Kill me and frame Banjo" isn't out of the question yet.

- Stalk appearance at the new Faust location + the preview for next week almost guarantee the owner being BloodStark now. And if it really is, then my reaction will be the same as Sento : "This is the worst..."

EDIT : oh and the last shot before the preview start is weird as hell. it points at a jar full of coffee beans.

Also, the Z is pronounced after all. Seems a bit awkward.

All that is important in this episode was:

Sento didn't drop the matchbox
AND
Soichi didn't forget to close the refrigerator

I think Utsumi will return eventually somehow.

Oh he will, he didn't get the flowers, plus whenever you fall in the water in Kamen Rider doesn't' mean you're dead.

Last episode said there were 3 more Fullbottles needed for Pandora's Box
Sento got Train which leaves 2 and the preview shows OctopusLight.
Conclusion: We're gonna learn about the Box soon

Personally I think Kamen Rider Musclebrain was a more appropriate name...

I wonder how long until everyone learns that Gentoku is Rogue. I’m really hoping to learn who Stalk is next week because this has gone on for too long.

Considering the timing of it, it's most likely related to the sparkling power up.

This would make a lot of sense considering Sparkling is supposed to be able to use all the form weapons.

I'm amused that they pulled an Ex-Aid and have removed the opening so they can have MORE PLOT.

But yeah, the nonstop government conspiracy is just continuing deeper. The next episode kind of feels like the start of a new leg of the show, so I'm excited to see where things go now that we are beyond the prologue.

No. Sento's had Light for ages (you can see it in, like Episode 3 or something), and it WAS stolen from him (you can see it in the hole in the wall) so it can't count as one of the three needed - ditto Densha, as Faust already had it. The three needed are probably Octopus, Phoenix, and Robot (considering the Toy Catalogue confirms PhoenixRobo's presence in the TV series in December, and that the Robot Sclash Jelly is Grease's Transformation Trinket).

Shouchi's way of speaking does match stark just like Gentoku as Rogue.

See, I told you Stalk is most probably Owner.
I bet there will be one episode solely focusing on him since he has been away for like two episodes.
I was surprised that Sawa can took down four highly trained guards and then break the glass BACK first. My female Kamen Rider alert is tingling!

There is a lot of death and suicide in Build. Damn was this good. I got nothing else to say other than that Build is a damn good show.

A thought just occurred to me....what if Utsumi is Kamen Rider Grease?


He's robot/machine based. What if he survives, but needs his body repaired Winter Soldier-style and comes back as a Rider?


IDK, there's nothing really concrete there, but I don't know how much I buy BloodStalk becoming Grease simply based on the naming. Night Rogue becomes Kamen Rider Rogue (most likely), but BloodStalk takes on an entirely new name (unless it's a misdirection of some sort)?

To be honest this would make sense as Sento now has the Bat Full Bottle so unless there is another then Gentoku can't transform into Night Rogue anymore, opening the door for him to get the Crocodile Full Bottle instead and become Rider Rogue.

In fact, I think I'll make a prediction on how the next few episodes are likely to go.

- Sento learns that Soichi is the one who framed Banjo for Katsuragi's apparent death

- Soichi is revealed to be Blood Stalk

- Backstory is unvelied claiming exactly what Blood Stalk's true motives are, Katsuragi is confirmed to have faked his own death and wiped his memories, giving himself a new face. It is then revealed that Sento is in fact Katsuragi with Taro's face, explaining his high IQ and similar preferences to Katsuragi.

- Banjo upon learning that Sento is really Katsuragi, understandably gets a bit mad and starts to come into conflict with Sento around the time when Sento gets RabbitTank Sparkling. Hence the scans of the two fighting.

- Around this time, war is declared between the three neighouring regions (maybe that might be too soon plotwise but I do expect a war to break out between the three at some point)

- Nanba Industries is the one which develops the Scrunch Driver as part of the war, as an evolution of the Kamen Rider System. Banjo ends up working for Nanba (a bit of a stretch) and this is how he obtains this driver. Nanba also supplies Faust which is how Kamen Rider Rogue comes into being.

I would be very surprised if everything I said is true but the first four seem likely.

Sento doesn't have the Bat Full Bottle. The Bottle he grabbed from Utsumi wasn't Bad, but a random one to commit suicide with, like that guy from before.

i have a theory
First the person who we think is Sento Kiryu is really Takumi Katsuragi who's face was changed by Bloody Stark. Consider that one Taro Satou is not a scientist he is a rock and roll punk who when in for a study to earn some cash so here is the thing how do you get smarter from that i don't think this guy just wanted to be a rock and roll star but was also a brilliant scientist i think that these are two different people. Now Here is the question how did he get smarter as drugs make increase your intelligence but actual knowledge isn't something a drug will give you. Now its possible the info is implanted but we haven't seen that yet. So i think what happened is this


The real Taro when to Katsuragi's place but stark was the one who had put up that ad and was waiting he knocked him out and killed him but then changed his face to that of Katsuragi and left him there for Ryuga to take the fall for the murder. He either then or had already wipe his memories of Katsuragi and had intended to use him for something else either as a worker to improve the rider system or as a test subject or he deliberately let him go as part of a plan with the cafe store owner to train him and make him stronger so they could create a more powerful build driver system. Either is possible but it would explain things that don't make sense other wise.

One WHY is he so smart when its fairly obvious he wasn't before all this happened
Two Why even though they know where they are they don't do anything
Three why he cried when he hate the food katsuragi's mother made that was seasoned to the tastes her son had
Four Why Stark is letting him have the things they need like bottles to build weapons to work with the rider system and clues like the research data which gives him something to work form

Now there is a possibility that it was a mental download of Katsuragi's mental data into his brain but i think that this is less likely as these researchers on Fausts side don't seem to be making much other than more smash monsters and if their goal is a weaponized kamen rider system then its Build himself making the stuff they would need so i suspect my theory is more likely correct. Why they are doing this is most likely that Katsuragi founded Faust to protect people but the people he worked with most likely who ever bloody stark is double crossed him, also i suspect Stark is Nariaki Utsumi. Consider that he is right near everything and now he is presumed dead he now no longer has to worry about hiding plus he can change faces he could be other people we just haven't figured out who he is pretending to be. as even if he was in the same room as stark it could be some one who's face he changed and then later changed back and either killed them off or they are still waiting around but there isn't much to go on for that part.

Man, Build is so good at keeping up the momentum I'm only sort of very angry they dumped the opening for however long they're dumping it. For Ex-Aid it was several months, so... yeah. If we can't even get Rabbit Tank in episodes anymore I don't feel so great about the opening's chances...

Next episode looks amazing and that place with Pandora's Box is totally the same place Yggdrasil kept their big tree! Coincidence, or secret movie tie-in? YOU DECIDE! The real answer is that Toei are cheapskates.

Oh, and Sento talks about "calculations" when he finds the Train Bottle, but clearly he's just too proud to admit he only recently noticed the labels.

Actually, they set this up extremely subtly. If you go back to the previous episode (I think the scene where he's building the Beat Closer) you can see that Sento did indeed figure out that Best Match through...science I guess. He has it written on the whiteboard, along with some brainstorming about the weapon.

In retrospect, that may be why he thought Shoubousha could be Kaizoku's Best Match in whichever episode that was. He had probably figured out that its Best Match was some sort of big blocky vehicle, but not what exactly.

Kind of a cool detail, even if it doesn't make the actual Best Match any less nonsensical.

yeah I really don't dig the suits.

Rabbit Tank and Gatling Hawk were cool looking.

I talked a friend into watching this show because I was telling him Kamen Rider is cool and he'd never seen it. Now I'll probably never get him to watch any tokusatsu again because the costumes are sort of ridiculous. Way more ridiculous than Kuuga or Agito or Amazons or W or OOO's or any of the other ones I've seen.

The unicorn horn on Rogue and Stalk didn't help either. He busted my balls about how goofy the costumes were and I just had to be like, "yeah...I don't know I've never seen them be so goofy." I should've tried to get him to watch Agito or Amazons.

Rabbit Tank was cool and I can't remember the last time I saw it.

Eh I can’t really agree, I like the suits and don’t really think they’re all that silly. Especially not compared to some of the other suits we’ve had in previous years.
Anyways great episode, reallly been loving this show so far.

The suits are not particularly goofy for Rider-standards, and if your friend enjoys the rest then it doesn't really matter.

@Topic: The episode was great, my only critique point is the second Driver out of nowhere. I think it would've been a better decision to just have one for now and kindle a bit of rivalry between Sentou and Ryuga over who gets to use it.

Also, I felt it was way too early for Sentou to get all of his bottles back but I guess they need to promote more toys ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sorry but I think a vacuum cleaner for an arm or a railroad track across his eye is definitely pretty silly looking. Much sillier (imo) than any costume I've seen before.

But I haven't watched every single series. ..but I have seen most of the costumes from all the different series and I still think Build has the silliest costumes.

It's just an opinion though and it's not like I don't like the show.

But comparing something like Kuugas Ultimate Rising form, or Agitos Burning form,.....to a vacuum cleaner arm,...well two of those look badass and one just looks silly.

I actually miss Rabbit Tank, I thought that was pretty cool looking and different.

I'm afraid that Build is pretty low on the silly suits scale in the grand scheme of things, so you might want to mentally prepare yourself.

Personally, I really like the Rider suits, Night Rogue, and Blood Stalk. The Smash are pretty inoffensive, but not particularly great.

I guess? I guess it's just a matter of personal taste. I know some folks who think the Ex-Aid or Gaim suits are a little silly but I don't think they're as silly looking as vacuum arm. But I see how someone could easily think Ex-Aid or Gaim is more silly.

I've heard (read?) people say all the Heisei suits are silly. Though I still think Kuuga and Agito are incredibly badass looking. Especially the upgraded forms. (Ultimate Rising is imo the coolest suit of all time.)

Suppose it comes down to personal taste.

Either way I think the show itself is great and I look forward to seeing the latest episode of Build every weekend.

well i hate to say it but gaim and exaid are two of my least favorite series so i don't really like the series or the suits or the design choices, build actually isn't that bad and think what is a vacuum its a device that can pull in or expel air and particulate matter much the same way a fan or other wind element characters can so i think its just vacuum is builds version of cyclone if you look at it the series is just doing the same thing as double except he doesn't have 6 memories to star with and only gets a couple more


also there is no way he is really dead i just don't think its likely considering one he was shot and fell not shot and killed he will be back i think
