CSM OOO Driver and Medal Set First Look!
 

As you may recall, Bandai teased the release of a CSM OOO Driver and accompanying medals, we have our first look at this anticipated item thanks to data mining from Erasu.

And when they say complete selection, they mean complete an alternate faceplate for Kamen Rider Posiden will be included, along with an assortment of medals that were either used by OOO in films or Hyper Battle Video.

I don't reccognise some of these medals, but I realy want to get it!

Some of the medals here are from the background of Megamax. Some look to be different colors from seen in the movie but it is still cool to see them dig that deep for medals.

This is some pretty deep OOO lore. Probably doesn't justify the cost, whatever it is, but a Poseidon Belt is tempting enough for me.

OMFG DREAM COME TRUE! I was saying it would be cool if "complete" meant everything. Even Poseidon and medals for the unused sounds. I didn't think it would actually happen. I'm over the moon. Whatever the hell this costs I'm paying it.

Does anyone know what the extra Sasori, Kani and Ebi medals are about? One would think the purple Sasori has something to do with Sasword.

If these are effectively the Premium Medals re-released, I wonder what we could expect from a CSM Birth Driver (with the Premium Cell Medals released with that).

Those were used for Kamen Rider Core iirc

If I recall correctly, when the black medals fly out of Nobu or whatever, they're charged and glow those purpley colors.

Them throwing in the Medals for the unused sounds was what I wanted, but never expected them to do. This set looks to be everything it needs to be and I need to buy it. I also see the "press for instant ska" button on the side of the Scanner which makes me super happy.

I didn’t plan on buying this since I already have the old driver and all the old medals but... yeah the alt face plate and medals is enough for me to justify this.

It’s great to see “complete” really means complete. Kinda gives me hope for when a season like drive gets this treatment.

I haven't even seen OOO and even I'm tempted by this. They really went all out.

Luckily for me I don't just have 400 dollars laying around because that'd be some impulse purchase.

I think we've reached the point of actual insanity on Bandai's part. And I think, somewhere in the distance, I can hear KamenRiderOOO having a heart attack

I have to admit I was expecting more,....colored lights at the very least.

I know it's not going to shoot sparks like the show but just making some sounds seems weak. At least give it some lights and flash behind the coins, like the show. Make it actually do something.

Maybe that video is an unfinished prototype. If that's it? That's underwhelming.

It can also play TaToBa with the deeper voice from the flashback to King OOO, TaJaDol from the final episode and Love Combo, there really is nothing this set can't do.

Ugh, the OOO fan in me really wants that... but the price stings so hard.
Have they always been this pricey? I guess it being Premium Bandai, then yea.

I could do without half of this, really, haha.

My only real issue with the set is the fact that it doesn't include Ankh's Medal Holder, apart from that it's simply perfect.

Hm... Have to admit that I'm rather underwhelmed... Other that the extra voices and sounds, I was hoping for more physical features including lights in the belt or medals.

Never in a million years would I think this would happen. Two questions: 1. Wasn’t the scorpion, shrimp, crab combo supposed to be black? 2. What’s th blue medal next to panda?

Yeah, I've been there. It's kind of neat inside, but the guy who runs it came across as a bit of a prick so I stopped going. Prices are pretty nuts too.

Yeah, I can see that. I got some good deals on Alternators though.

I sold a bunch of extra Centurion parts and figures there one time, and he didn't give me very much for them. Great store to window shop in though.

The blue one looks like either a snail or a hermit crab... looks like it’s got a huge shell on it. I’m going more towards hermit crab though.

Well, if you notice in the video, they never actually used the belt. The person was just hovering the scanner over the belt without either actually interacting or probably even turned on. Now I'm not saying it has lights, but so far we have no evidence to the contrary.

New sounds for brand-new forms is quite amazing.

The price for the complete edition is quite steep though. Like, double the price of the regular one just for more medals and a faceplate? For that price, they should include more, or lower the price.

It's also quite dumb to not include all medals from the show with the regular version. Why should anyone bother picking that up if you only get 3 combos? Is it compatible with the old DX medals at least?
