Power Rangers Season 26- Casting Begins Mid March
 

So production is apparently underway for the 2019 season of "Power Rangers."

Obvious question first- which Sentai do they use? :P

Didn't they deconfirm Zyuohger with something about it being hard to sell cube toys? I'd say Kyuranger is the obvious adaption

Secretly I hope it's Go-Busters.

It was because of the Zord Builder ports the Megazords use.

Apparently, Kyuranger is the first Sentai show where Bandai of America collaborated with Bandai Japan, so Kyuranger becoming Power Rangers 2019 is very likely.

Please be Zyuohger.

So zord builder is as terrible as i think it is.

Also praying to Zordon it’s Kyuranger.

Because I loved Zyuohger and would not want to see it ruined, I also hope it's Kyuranger.

Let’s hope Reggie gets a chance to try out.

To be fair I want them to use Zyuohger villains since they have great designs.

But sadly I'm too cynical to the show that I have no hope for the 26th season, be it Zyuohger or Kyuranger. Saban needs to realize it's not the 90s anymore.

I think it’s possible we’ll see a Zyuohger villain or two in Kyuranger if it’s adapted, since we currently have Baron Nero, a ToQGer villain, in Super Ninja Steel as Cosmo Royale.

We might be able to tell just from how many people they are casting. Kyuranger had a fairly good sized cast. Even if they keep the unmorphed ones who were suits like Champ and Balance that's at least seven actors... Okay maybe not as good a way.

That's of course assuming they don't just announce it before that. I don't know how that works out for Power Rangers.

I also wonder if Zyuohger might get passed over not just because of toy issues with the Zords, but with the Rangers. I'm thinking they might be afraid the suits with the black line animal faces won't look appealing to kids. The Kyuranger suits will pop out more on store shelves. Of course they'll have a harder time just slapping different helmets and paintjobs on the same base. Eh guess I'll just have to wait.

If they decide to keep the civilian suits of Garu, Raptor, Champ, Balance, and Commander Dumplings, I hope we get past ranger actors to voice them at least being it 25 years and all.

I'm thinking that Raptor's suit is too risque to be reused in an adaptation so they'll probably cast an out of suit female actress for the role. But then again they did use Candirilla's suit in Dino Charge so who knows, and they tend to match up the genders moreso with their Sentain counterparts moreso nowadays, probably because of how well known it became over Tigerranger's gender lol.

If they reuse Balance's suit it will look weird seeing him hang out with someone other than Naga though...

Raptor was risqué? What the heck was risqué about he-*googles “Raptor 283” and sees that the suit has panties seperate from the main suit*

They've got a couple of options. One would be to just have a regular actor. The other would be to modify the existing suit, and just be careful what shots, if any of the Japanese version they pick. For example painting the lower body to make it look like there are tights or pants, or extending the skirt. Well we'll see if we get our Chuni android or they change it compleatly.

I doubt he even pays much attention to his product. He just tells people the same instructions that he gave them back in 1992. That's the key to success. /s
