Kamen Rider Build Episode 25- "The Idol's Awakening!" Discussion
In the midst of a battle with Kamen Rider Rogue, Misora demonstrates a remarkable new power unlike anything ever seen before. What could this mean for the conflict?
SuperHeroTime HAS MOVED TIMESLOTS! You can still view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts. Live Streams of the Superhero Time block now start at 8PM EST on Saturdays! |
so in this ep, Black Hazard can 1 on 1 with Crocodile and Hazard level -> Power up - seems legit and acceptable

The storytelling and the used of cgi in this series is amazing. I wasn't a fan of misora's character, but she's doing pretty good after the stark's revelation. Looks like perfected hazard is coming soon a long with the fusion of the hell bros. they're really not holding back at the war and deaths. The past 10 episodes feel like end game already. There's literally no rest for fillers aside from a few jokes here and there. It's been a while since there's a toku series that's is addicting and intriguing to watch weekly as this one. You actually anticipate for every new episode.

Who is the spy? Better not be Sawa again.

I knew Misora was going to play a big part. The way her eyes are green in the intro credits. The weird bracelet she can't seem to remove that looks alien. Now she's healing wounds and walking around in trances. I'm starting to wonder if she's even human. |
Looks like banjo's actor found some time to film some scenes for the Amazon movie. Without the annoying Taisen and Sentai crossover episodes to promote the movie is great. Remember all those annoying specials in Gaim. Toy commercials need a good story too unlike PR nowadays. Also, Toku actors schedule is much more pack than PR. They need to constantly pump new edited episode every week along with events and side specials. However, on the bright side they get more opportunities venturing in to mainstream after toku.

It wouldn't be Grease. The spy revealing the box's true location led directly to Akaba's death, and that was real panic on his face.

Sawa is the only real choice. |

Seriously KR Build have some similarities with KR Gaim, like :
1) Both series transform power is come from another planet ( Build is from Mars, Gaim is from Fenumushu ) 2) Both series have company in researching terrestrial power ( Yggdrasil for Gaim, Nanba Heavy for Build) 3) Both series terrestrial power caused destruction of own planet ( Helhelm's power caused destruction of Fenumushu civilization , while Pandora Box caused destruction of Mars civilization) Well, can't wait for next week episode, with betrayal and debut of RabbitRabbit form |

Guess it would explain the phone call. But I refuse to accept that. |
and finally like I thought since I saw her name, Misora can control the sky wall (Isurugi is written with kanjis for "moving" and "stone" and Sora is obviously "sky")
Wonder if it means Souichi can do it too (Souichi being written with kanjis for "all" and "first/one"). Evolt ? could that be the name of the real antagonist ? someone controlling Souichi so that Sentou acheives the Evol driver ? sounds cool at least. |

The plot continues to thicken...
Makes me wonder now if Misora will be the one to get rid of the Sky Wall completely by the end of the series. Or if it will be like in the intro with formulas crashing through the wall to break it down. Also not entirely sure how the Hazard "Kill Switch" is going to be linked to Sento's next major upgrade since the item looks nothing like that from what I can see. But it looks like that "Perfected Hazard" will be the RabbitRabbit and TankTank forms and I like how this is forshadowed at the very end when Sento is choking Misora under Hazard influence. I also like how whatever is inside that bracelet seems to be driven on by the destruction of Mars at the hands of Pandora's Box and how it's doing everything to prevent that from happening again. Also interesting that Misora sees that image every time that she purifies bottles. It would appear that the war arc is about to come to an end in the near future if this proxy battle is anything to go by... but does that mean that Soichi's plan is nearly complete. Are RabbitRabbit and TankTank the forms that will raise Sento's Hazard Level to what Soichi has been seeking all along? Anyone who knows the Japanese alphabet have any idea what the name "Soichi" is supposed to mean? |
good episode. I really liked the scene with Hazard dodging (rabbit jumping) all those shots from Rogue then leaping into the air for a big Rider Kick. Very cool.
As soon as (what's his name?) Was like, "hey Boss lets bury those tags" and Grease was like, "Yeah we'll do that......tomorrow." I knew that guy wasn't going to be seeing tomorrow. It felt like one of those, "I'll be right back" moments in a movie where you know the guy is going to run into Jason in the woods or something. Good episode. I liked the visual of Build, Grease, and Cross-Z all transforming at once side by side. |
Sawa is TOTALLY the traitor! Remember waaaay back in the beginning where she was talking to Namba? I had assumed at the time that this was part of her initial betrayal thing, but it seems she was being a triple agent all along. She's almost certainly a part of that group of children that Namba raised.
So from what everyone is saying, RabbitRabbit Hazard will be a controllable form of the Hazard power-up? Well, Hazard had a great run being a terrifying berserker upgrade, so I'm fine with it. |
Everybody is pointing fingers at Sawa. But Nanba himself said "Our spy on Touto [....] when that boy checks in". The traitor is male.

The second is almost certainly Sawa. It can't be Kazumi - he'd never betray the Three Feathers, and it can't be Sento either - he's the hero. So that leaves Banjou (would he be smart enough? Why betray Sento), Misora (why would she help her kidnappers? She hates warfare) and Sawa (who has no alibi here). |
You know, if Sento had remembered he had a motorcycle, Akaba might still be alive. :p

I have a theory that it is indeed Misora--but that she's totally not aware of it and has not memory of doing any such thing. When she's in her powered state, she remembers nothing afterwards and seems to instinctively protect people close to her. I would not at all be surprised if, after talking to Sento, Stalk figured out how to temporarily trigger such a state and use it to trick her into revealing the information. Stalk is really good at manipulating things like that and I would put nothing past him at this point.

bonjo makes no sense because bloodstark framed him for murder so i dont know why would he make things worse for himself after everything that has happened and he's getting power up from sento, so i dont think it's him. anything is possible with greese because bloodstark did give him the squash driver so who knows what he's planning to do with him but sento is not really close friends with him and just judging by his reaction is someone really close and it's probably misora. |

Yeah it seens to be a completely different character, now I have no knowledge of the toy guide or upcoming riders etc, just considering the OP itself I would be reallllllly happy with Misora ending up with a driver eventually.
Though perhaps she will get a monster form, that is also possible. I am expecting Blood Stalk to get a monster form unless he is actually an anti hero doing whatever to give a method to fight whatever the actual villain is, though it is very possible he will just be the main villain in the end. |

Most likely Blood Stalk is the main villain ala Chronos was and any powerful martian entity will just be the dragon ala Gamedeus.

I'm thinking it's either Sawa since she was involved directly with Namba before... or it's a Red Herring and it's just Gentoku tuning into the bracelet's frequency that Sento and Ryuga still have on. After all, he gave those to them.

Isn't Faust still around? I don't know if I like that people are saluting Namba Industries directly. It'd be like if people were pledging loyalty to Microsoft, Facebook or Amazon rather than the powers they back.

Yeah, I have a feeling that when Stalk is done with them, Namba is going to find them destroyed and tossed away by him too. They are just tools to him and they only think that he's working for/with them. Faust was just an older tool that has since been tossed aside.
|
if you look at it as a set of tools hes been using. Namba was probably the first group stalk worked with and probably refined most of the bottles up to around the 21st set but then ran into his daughter figuring out it was going to be used for evil. since he knew he had to tricker he used the touto's faust group that was working for them to create an enemy to fight. plus it was build before he lost his memories that designed and build the transteam guns blades and build driver but he also decided he wouldn't support what was coming as he saw it as war mongering and was building the build driver to defend to attack. but because he needed someone with a high hazard level and access to his intellegence and skill he framed ryuga for the murder and mind wiped him of his memories. but not his abilities and used them to refine the bottles and the build driver with his daughter. The reason faust existed was it was used to produce the drivers the tech everyone is using note that none of this stuff is build by anyone else its all the same stuff with modifications nanba and the other 2 areas have made no new weapons just improvements on something that already exists and im not even sure they did that.
Each area so far as been an excuse to simply throw the riders at each other and have them wail on each other each growing in hazard level. we have seen that stalk is more interested in growing their level than the bottles or the box even as he knows he can take it with no trouble and he is right. because im sure now he already has more power than all of them and that he is hiding how strong he really is or he already has a belt and the evolt trigger to make himself more powerful or thats whats really in the box. that the evolt trigger combined with the build driver turns someone into a destructive force so great nothing can stop it. |
Does anyone think Misora is a Martian or just a human who got powers through that bracelet?
|
possible my theory on it is that its a grand theft me situation. when the green eyes are on. Same for the father except he is always in the driver seat
