The DVD will come out around the time this goes up for pre-order, so I don't see anything bizarre about it.

Might as well sell the repaint first as long as the form is still relevant, they can sell Maximum Mighty X whenever they feel like it.

I have a feeling that the next one might be poppy like how bandai gave us gemn Lv 0 just to take their time with Hyper Muteki.

If anyone is still wondering why they're releasing this now, this flyer is packed in with the home video release of Another Ending which also includes the God Maximum Mighty X Gashat.

They saw a great chance to promote the figure and they took it.

I hope they at least include some accessories for this release, I don't see any on the pictures.

The price is pretty expensive, I don't think they can justify that through more mass and paint alone. Some of the bigger Ultraman monster SHF's are cheaper than this guy, without discounts.

EDIT: He apparently has accessories but I have no idea what they are, spoilers form the movie maybe?
