There'd be no point. Sento recovers both sets of memories within the next two episodes, finally accepting himself for who he is - Sento Kiryu AND Takumi Katsuragi. The drama there is over.

So what happens after that?

Sento and Katsuragi go FUUUUSSIOON HAA!! and Build Genius is born.

Anyone bothered by the fact Evolt still sounds like shouichi? Like Ankh, Evolt is accustom to that host body for years, so it's obvious he will still mimic it and it's easier for the audience. However, it's a bit annoying that Banjo and Sento's actors lines get dub over and they go full out mimicking Evolt/Stark's getsure while Shouichi is still just Shouichi.

This was worked well as a set up episode.
They kept the pace along well too.
It did what it needed to do well so that is good enough.

Finally, the literal worst characters of the show are gone and Evolt gets ever so slightly fleshed out

Hmmm...I think Evolt should be show his true form because Evolt already has complete body. I think Evolt's true form will be has monster form.

If Evolt become final villain in series, maybe he will in monster form as strongest form when he against Build Genius Form in final battle.

So it would seem that the name Mad Rogue makes a lot more sense now.....Utsumi has officially snapped. My guess though is that he's only playing along for now.


As far as Evolt goes.....man that's just brutal. He just killed off 3 characters in one episode, and that's only after killing off Himuro Taizen and Lord knows how many other people. And he's just so playful while doing it. One of my favorite Rider villains in years.

Evolt really remind me to Banno from Kamen Rider Drive.

More like Redyue. He's interest in becoming even more stronger while delaying his plan to wipe out Earth in order to play with human emotions. Oh yeah, utsumi is highly likely faking his loyalty. I guess the Gear Bro paid back his debt to Ryuga.

Next episode, more training from Ryuga and grease. Does Ryuga need to use the Evolt dragon bottle before going in to Magma? Looks like there might be still some Evolt left in him since he's seeing visions from Mars like Misora/Vernage. Evolt's finish is truly menacing.

They're really squeezing more and more bottles repaint and toys this late in the show even if it's premium bandai. Btw does Evolt knew Vernage going to refill the essence of the fullbottles since he was only after the trigger. Now he's doing repaint bottles with an extra panel. I'm curious to see how Sento is able to merge 60 bottles' essence in to his genius bottle since Evolt got them.

There's probably 11 more episodes left if they're not airing sport on any Sunday until the end of March. Right now, Evolt is way too overpower and I'm curious to see if he's really the final boss since he could easily kill everyone easily. His new transformation and finisher tops his previous forms by a lot and it really showcase how deadly he is now.

I think after lagging a bit these last few episodes (not that the show was bad by any stretch of the imagination), we are finally back on track. Black Hole Evol is really cool, looks awesome and has that amazing finisher! I think my favorite moment from this episode has to be that scene where Katsuragi is talking to Gentoku, and the camera keeps switching between Katsuragi and Sento's faces. Stylish.

I kinda like the Katsuragi persona, I mean, when you compare it to "Sento" he is much more nuanced.
We learned nothing really important about Katsuragi...

Finally, we got rid of that Nanba dude.

I wonder how Katsuragi and Sento will make "peace"....

Man, this episode went places. I didn't expect the concentrated bloodbath of Nanba characters, but it was brutal and effective. I'm curious to see where Utsumi goes now, because it looks like he's gone completely insane now. I don't see that ending well for him.

I liked the stuff with Katsuragi and Gentoku. It was a neat scene and helped play up the idea that there's a lot more Katsuragi in Sento than I assumed up until now.

And we finally get Genius next week. That is really late, as far as final forms go. Assuming a standard series length, there are only 10 episodes left and we should be seeing Zi-O images by the end of the month. I know the show has been doing a good job of continually introducing new toys, but holding the ultimate form back to this late in the game feels a little weird. Not unwelcome, mind you, just weird. I've gotten used to the ultimate form showing up around the episode 30 mark, not 40.

Misora will be the only one who can save both of them in order to bring them both in peace.

How will Katsuragi go to memory lane of Sento?

that was a good episode. Lately the past (few?) episodes have felt a bit like the show was idling, but this episode felt like they're starting to step on the gas again.

Also Evolt displayed (imo) more personality this episode than lately. I was starting to get a bit bored with him and missed the Coffee Shop Owner,..but he had some swagger again this episode that reminded me of Blood Stalk.

Not bad at all, I guess we're in the home stretch and rounding third.

I personally like it that the Secondary Rider has been allowed to be the most powerful for a while now. It's a bit different than the norm. Obviously going to change next week, but still.

I also like it that Katsuragi doesn't know how to use RabbitRabbit since it's something he's never seen before. It's a nice little touch. I also like how he's very different from his reputation. It's a reminder that how people are portraying isn't really what they are liked. The evil scientist never really existed and while he may have done some questionable things, we see here that his intentions were good and he tried to prevent a lot of the things that did happen. Seno and Katsuragi won't be that hard to reconcile after all as they really aren't that much different.

Build Genius Form debut in episode 39 just like Faiz Blaster Form debut episode in episode 39 too.

About Build toys, I think most of Best Match Forms are become forgotten right now especially since Evolt always steal most of Full Bottles in series.

They need to squeeze in all the banjo, Evolt, and mad rogue stiffs before the final one. The story gets affected a bit because of all the Evolt forms we probably won't see anymore. He call them phases, but I'm sure he doesn't need rabbit or even dragon to get black hole. Not a whole lot of explaining and banjo's secret along with shouichi/Misora turns out to be different than expected. Evolt can just magically summon extra drivers now,

I do enjoy we're back to multiple riders with conflicts before working together along with villains being riders. They also can sell more toys this way, but built just have so much repaints and forgettable full bottles.

One thing about the lore I really like is how the highest powered suits all have white aesthetic to them... It's the small touches..

Makes sense come to think of it. In the past few episodes Evolt has been getting so tantalizingly close to regaining Black Hole, so it figures he would play extra serious to ensure that he doesn't screw it up. Sento pulling the suicide bomb on him and forcing an early possession didn't help his mood at all too.

Now with all his regained power, he can basically fuck around with everyone and enjoy it, much like a student letting loose after finishing their finals or something.

I have only one question: where did the second Evoldriver come from?

Maybe the second one are created in Nanba's laboratory?

The scans seem to state that 'someone' build it...so its likely a mystery intentionally, and will be answered eventually.

Ah, so the true villain reveals himself!

That reveals an inconsistency with the story. I thought that even the best scientists of Earth could only create a knock off copy of the Evoldriver which is the Buildriver. For Nanba to suddenly pull out a functioning Evoldriver does not mesh well with the story.

Oh well, all Rider series begin their end by tying up lose threads rather haphazardly. I guess it can't be helped.

We shall wait then.

I think Evolto was the only one who can create a second Evol Driver.

Better episode than usual. Got rid of some dead weight, which was nice. Evolt is still a terrible villain. And ultimately dragging the whole show down. It's neigh impossible for him to have planned out so many plans for his plans to succeed in such a planned fashion.

Suit's ugly too.

I'm just going to copy and paste this statement I made in last episode's thread.

The way I look at it is Evolto is a being of an unknown age. He's already destroyed Mars, and we don't know how many other planets before that. Who knows how many times he's done this?! So look at it like this, he knows exactly what he's doing, all he's had to do is wait for things to fall in place. He's done this numerous times before, so he kind of does have a bit a slight power to predict the future. It's like a Chess Grand Master, they know almost every single move you can make in the game and can almost predict what moves their opponent can make.

I don’t really see how Evolt is worse that say, Sagara from Gaim, in terms of having everything go according to plan. It isn’t my favorite villain type, but I tend to enjoy them decently.

Is just me or does anyone else get a little amused at how Nanba sits completely still after Evolt pays him a visit? Its like he's thinking, "Crap! Maybe if I stay completely still and silent, his weird alien senses won't detect me!".
