Kamen Rider Kiva: TV vs Novel?
Hard to find something good in Kiva. What do you all think?
Novel disappointed me with no Basshaa & Dogga. How would Kiva gain those forms & weapons!? |

What did anyone think of Kiva's Fangire form being his Rider Form in the novel?

Kiva makes me so angry, I loved the themesong and the suits, but then they hired the brainless idiot who should have been blacklisted after agito to write the thing.
So much wasted potential, such a shame they haven't redone it. Inoue deserves to be rider kicked in the face for every show he has butchered |

The fact that was a completely serious remark about vampires tells me two things:
1.humanity is worse off than I thought 2.this is not someone I will ever interact with unless desperate Everyone knows dracula, dracula is the big fucking cheese of vampires, bela lugosi, christopher lee; THAT dracula. A ruthless, manipulative monster who will rip your fucking jugular vein out if you give him a chance. We are supposed to be NERDS on this damn site, get it together people! |
Dracula? I'm pretty sure Castlevania was the first thing to have vampires. Don't know what this dray-cool-ah is.

hey remember how kiva's costumes were so poorly designed and heavy they nearly killed the suit actor
|
The suit was just really uncomfortable and put a lot of extra strain on Takaiwa's back. He also hated the Double suit because it pinched and constricted his body.

Even if Kiva's suit wasn't terrible for the actor wearing it, it confuses me in its conception. Kiva is based on a vampire, so you'd expect something more elegant and perhaps even thinner than most Riders as vampires tend to be portrayed in media; but instead it's probably the bulkiest main rider suit.
I will say though I really like the helmet design, especially when the super form makes the bottom edges of the eyes into fangs. It's really well done. |
