It seems Evolto has been defeated at last. But what other secrets remain hidden within Pandora's Box???

I agree. The fact that not only did that happen but he didn't even break a sweat doing it, that makes me worry for team build of he gets that panel again.

Did anyone else notice the obvious grease upgrade in next week's episode? Was there ever any scan or something that was missed that eluded to that?

I think everyone assumed that the blizzard knuckle was going to be a one-time thing for Cross-z. But Grease really desevers a power up. even if it seems likely hes going to die soon.

I have a death flag sense and its tingling for Kazumin.

And oh crap is he using Shinobu's Build Driver as well? Damn.

I'm impressed that they can casually invent another 11 new toys to collect this late in the game.

Good episode, I really liked that 'times 4' Massive Rider Kick at the end, all of them hanging in the air, sht's exploding in the background, camera spinning around like it's the Matrix or something. What a cool moment.

Not to mention Riders getting kicked into and through buildings.

Entire planets being destroyed.

Holy crap a lot happened during that episode.

Yeah i feel like he is. I think the only villain that would sort of be up there is the Helheim forest from Gaim but that's not really a villain per say more like a parasite that terra forms planets. Makes me wonder if Evolt ever met the Helheim forest through his travels in space. That would be interesting to see. Haha

Pretty good episode, but overall, the Sento's dad plotline seems kinda pointless. You could have moved this back to the debut of Genius, and nothing much would have changed. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it - it's still been a good set of episodes rather than an amazing, like some of Build has been, but it feels like a little bit of filler. If it plays into the finale, I'll take that back though.

I would actually argue that moving this plotline to the Genius debut would've been better, actually. To be honest, the debut of Build Genius Form wasn't as impactful as it should've been, and doing this type of thing (maybe not bringing his dad back, but Sento just figuring out his father's secret plan to defeat Evolt & his sacrifices to make it possible) would have improved the hype for its introduction.

This was a pretty decently good Episode. Probably the Episode that stops this current bad Episode trend we've been having lately in Build. I honestly can't think of any major issues with this one, except for just my issue with Evolt's alien form being his Final Form & not Black Hole. Why would his true form be stronger than him in an enhancement suit?

CG looks significantly better. Same happened with Ex-Aid right? They finish the movie and put the rest of the budget into the show

While it sounds stupid, it's a japanese thing kinda.

But usually they do that with the main hero of a shonen. The kind of situation where the protag is too tired/damaged/power stolen to continue, but in a last ditch of effort can overcome a superior opponent even in this state.

It's kinda funny they're doing it with a vilain though. The only one that comes to mind with a similar (but not identical) situation is Kid Buu in DBZ.

I feel like this episode was a step up in quality probably because they've actually raised the stakes again.

So far we've had some hints of how terrifying Evol can be, but they've been completely buried under the tedium of seeing him just sit around while the riders all got stronger or him suddenly saying that he planed it all along somehow and he could totally destroy the world if he wanted to.

But now, I actually believe him. The dude just casually warped to another planet and effectively annihilated it for shits and giggles, had the riders not separated him from the black panel, he could've literally ended the entire show in this very episode.

It's this really weird "Original > Final" thing where the prototype is better than the current model for some reason.

In Gundam Wing, when the five scientist develop the Wing-0, they noticed that the overall output of the machine was too strong, so they stopped and made the Gundam Wing instead.

Or Ultraman Orb, where his Orb Origin form is stronger than any of his fusion rises.

In fact we've actually seen this in kamen rider too. In Ex-Aid the Proto Gashats were stronger than the normal ones, but had almost no safety limits to protect the user whatsoever. So the normal versions were made and given to the four riders.

Nothing much to add except that when Evolt truly lose, he makes Helheim look like a weed.

By the way, this episode seems to be the setup for the movie.

What happened to Vernage? Was she forgotten? Is she going to be useful again? This episode was a return to form for Build but I fear that its too little, too late.

Anyways, can't wait for Zi-O!

Honestly it's been a while since I've seen a bad guy just do that so casually

I was expecting Sento to be sort of a basket case after watching billions of people be murdered so casually,..he actually handled that really well.

I can't believe Evolt destroyed Kouta's planet from Gaim! Okay, probably not, but that was my first reaction to seeing it.

Cool episode, loved it when they Rider kicked Evolt so hard that they literally kicked the black panel out of him. Kazumin is so going to die though, his death flags are way too strong to avoid, movie be damned. My only nitpick is that I wish they made a palette swap suit for Sento when he used Genius and the Hazard Trigger together.

Depend on the size of the planet, but seriously I think Helheim / Sagara can too if he decide to full Ego on the universe. Also, I hate that villains are clearly so powerful that there's no way riders in a weaker form can take so many hits likes the Civilian form taking hits from the motw.

The last of the movie tie in I guess and we are finally back to full gear. The whole father issue and mad rogue outshine genius in bad way. Genius should be able to channel the 60 bottles to do all kind of Clever finishers. I doubt we are getting a new suit next week since MachChaser and Cross final brief upgrade was teased in the preview photos, but we didnt see that nor was there any movie snippet of it. I think there might be a preview of people being resurrected from the death.

Confirmed not Kouta's planet, because Kouta's planet don't have building, not green colour and don't have creatures like human. Kouta would have intervened if Evolto invades his planet.

On the other side, Evolto appointed three persons as Touto, Seito and Hokuto governor. Now, lets choose you want to stay at which region? For me, I will choose Hokuto, since Hokuto's Governor is kawaiiiiiii :D

Fell about a month behind on Build, but with the confirmation of the movie taking place between this episode and the next, the safety net of team Build being guaranteed to survive that existed when the movie was assumed to take place after the show is gone. Happy to be back to having no clue what will happen next!

He was too busy getting his ass whooped and he also must have been in shock at witnessing what Evolt was capable of.

Loved the four person Rider Kick.

Excellent episode as far as showing how powerful Evolt is. Now lets see that end game!

The episode was good and all, but am I the only one who found it a bit anti-climatic that Evolt's new form got its ass kicked in the same episode as its debut right after the build-up (he he) from him destroying that planet?

Kazumin probably dies next episode... his previous character also bite the dust around there too. How the heck did they revive the Crows? Sheesh...stop reviving people, Toei...

I didnt expect old man Katsuragi dying in the first half of the ep, gawd, Evolto so brutal.

That and Build takes place in another dimension from Gaim, so they are safe for now.

From previous movie stuff and in story connections like Foundation X:
Apparently original series until black is all one universe.
W, OOOs, Fourze, Drive, Ghost, and Ex-Aid are all part of that universe too. (Though timeline events are all over the place. But they are all connected through Foundation X or other nods.)

Then the rest are all their own. So Gaim, Wizard, and Build are all their own universe/parallel worlds, as is everything from Kuuga to Decade. Except for maybe Kuuga and Agito possibly being connected. Not sure which ones Black and Black RX are still considered continuity to though. Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, and Kiva are all their own universe. Decade is multi-dimensions/all. W is part of original but is a different city.

But we do know the wall has areas that can cross dimensions like the DC Comics Source Wall as shown with the BiKaiser movie and how one of the Foundation X members had an alternate universe version of themself in Build's world that they used.

Sentai timeline gets more confusing. But it has a similar "some are connected, some aren't" approach too like Nin and Hurricane, and maybe Kaku alongside that other Toei Ninja show.

So I'm guessing they may build up to something to make it easier to spill into Zi-O as an ending, or might be prepping to do Zi-O's cameo for in series instead of the Movie style. Or it could still have the movie cameo. No clue. They've been really secretive with any filming for Zi-O stuff. So either it's a lot of sound stage stuff, or something. Usually by now with it premiering in September, you'd think some sort of cameo leak or filming leak would have happened. Major respect for how careful they've been being though outside of the toy catalog.

Incorrect. Wizard appeared alongside Ghost, Drive, Ex-Aid and Gaim in Heisei Generations, which is explicitly canon for Ex-Aid. Gaim you could give a pass for via Helheim, but Wizard, you couldn't.

Kuuga also appears in Tomoko's video footage during Fourze of past riders, so Kuuga's not a parallel world either.

So if you consider that there is a 'main timeline' which has all of the Showa Riderss, as well as most of phase 2 Heisei Riders...

Then it would include everything up to Black RX, Kuuga, Agito (questionable, but it at least references Kuuga as canon, even if it couldn't be the direct sequel it wanted to be), Den-O (possibly, as has interacted with many other Riders, but never in an explicitly canon way), W, OOO, Fourze, Wizard, Drive, Ghost, and Ex-Aid.

...Not that it matters. Toei will change their mind on whether they're one world or many based on what will be most proitable or make the best story.

Man, this was an episode. I did not expect Evolt to go full final boss mode this soon and I was even more surprised to see him knocked back out of it almost immediately. Kinda cool to see a preview for his final form and I expect we'll get it back for the finale.

So, Kazumi is totally dying next week, right?
