Super Minipla Gridman and God Zenon Pre Order Info
 

Now this is rather exciting.

A new Gridman/God Zenon/Thunder Gridman figure will be joining Bandai's candy toy range. No word on just what line it's a part of just yet (or whether its a new one altogether) but we'll bring you more news as it comes!

*looks at the auxiliary pieces combined into one mech* Looks like Optimus did a crossover and got a new form. Lol! I love it!!

Oh wow, I am definitely interested in these. I remember having a VHS tape of the show so I only every watched a few episodes but it also came with a little pamphlet showing the toys which I dreamed of owning but never saw anywhere. Haha.

I hope god zenon is super Minipla, but based on the promotion material it doesn't look like it's a candy kit, but only time will show.

They're all candy/budget toys to some extent, that's what Bandai's Shokugan label covers.

All kidding aside, these look awesome and will definitely look into picking some of these up to go with the Sentai Minipla.

Looks like a little bit of both. Like early Rider/sentai stuff was at around Den-O through Decade and W and Geki. So it's a blended bit of some pre-constructed and some major assembly required. Griman himself looks more like the consistency and complexity of the Den-O candy figures though. Looks like roughly that level of durability too to maybe near Shodo levels. But closer to Den-O's candy figures with some shodo level extra bits.

That explains the more high level of quality then.
Which bodes well for the new show itself getting normal Minipla things. Super Minipla is usually reserved for older which explains why this is the older designs then.

P-Bandai?! Nooo, that's what I was afraid of.

These look really cool.

Noticed this item is not entirely P-Bandai exclusive, when covering the item for Hero-Club.com. The P-Bandai order page would have a banner image at the top, and the Bandai Candy listing would feature this【プレミアムバンダイ限定】in the title. They just activated the P-Bandai page before retailers are able to open pre-orders for the item most likely, or they just botched the Bandai Candy page.

Someone may want to change the image used on the "order information" article up on the main page. The thing is HORRIFICALLY mistransformed in those stock images (I hope). Arm kibble sticking straight ought the sides instead of folded against the back, and the side skirts are folded forward and sticking out alongside the front skirt. I almost skipped on these because I'm not sure just what it's actually SUPPOSED to look like.

Interesting, I was wondering why no retailers had this up for pre-order yet.

Pre-orders currently live at retailers, a friend confirmed it had a street date activation for normal retailers.
