I like what I'm seing.
In one of the shot we can see ZI-O Build fighting Overlord Baron

like a Build Rabbit/Tank-Zi-O combo in that 4th pic?

weird.

That's the gimmick of Zi-O; powerups based on previous riders. We've seen others like Drive and Ex-Aid, and you can see Gates using Ghost in these scans.

Yeah I get it, I guess it took me by surprise since I'm still watching Build and he's still 'The Current Rider'.

I like what I'm seeing, getting excited to see the new show.

Oh, the Drill Crusher-like weapon is actually part of the suit? Honestly can't say I was expecting that one. First time I saw it in a scan I thought it was just a retooled Drill Crusher.

Image 14 shows that the swappable armor gimmick works pretty well on the actual suits, although I still don't see why they needed to have the armors be swappable instead of just letting the armors be purely based on their respective legend rider.

This is so EXCITING! We're gonna see the all of the main Heisei Riders in the summer movie! Only for them to be destroyed by ZI-O himself...

Plus, we see Sento meeting ZI-O for the first time when Sento gets transported to ZI-O's dimension where all the past Riders are fighting their respective enemies and Sento questions him on how he's able to use Build's powers.

Looks sweet!

And glad to see they'll continue the trend of movie reveals too!

Though since the movie takes place in series. I kind of wonder if that appearance might carry over more. Also raises questions as to when Zi-O takes place at the start compared to Build's parallel world. Unless this is Future Zi-O that appears. Can't wait to see how it goes! Sounds promising either way.

Very cool to see the return of monsters too. This definitely feels like a 'next decade' kind of thing, and that series was really fun.

Looks like Zi-O and Gates will be mildly antagonistic too, but will end up working together. There's a shot of Gates in ghost armor attacking Zi-O, but also lots of shots of them back to back working together. So it looks like a form of love hate relationship. Which is actually pretty common for secondaries and mains.

So in case you are wondering what these are, The red bottle is the Super Sentai Full Bottle, the blue one is the Kamen Rider Full Bottle. Super Sentai Full Bottle can be obtained by buying this particular issue of Televi-kun and Kamen Rider Full Bottle can be obtained by buying the Super Televi-kun Zi-O & Build issue.

Inserting the Sentai bottle will give you the sound "Super Sentai!"
Inserting the Kamen Rider bottle right after that will give you "Kamen Rider! Best match!"

After the are you ready sound, it will say "Nichiasa saikou(Sunday morning is the best)! Super Hero Time! Yay!"

For those still not unfamiliar Nichiasa is a shortened form of Nichiyobi Asa, which means Sunday morning, the time period sentai and rider shows air in Japan.

Maybe Gates will be similar to Specter.

Could be worse, at least they don't have extra faces and chests on their backs.

I'm thinking it might be more towards a Kabuto/Gattack or Kiva/Ixa or even Build/Cross-Z.

Where it's antagonistic at first, but mutually need each other/become friends/have to work together.

I don't think Gates can actively go after Zi-O with any kind of direct aspect of ending them though. If Gates is from the future Zi-O rules, then unless Gates is a rebel fighter trying to stop the Demon King, then Gates needs Zi-O to exist.

But even if Gates is a 'rebel fighter' type, then finding out Zi-O isn't like their future self, could also quickly change the dynamic too. Like how Ixa wanted to end Kiva because Kiva was supposed to end the world. But then Ixa found out Wataru wasn't like that, and they worked together to keep fangires in check.

Like how Cross-Z got irritated with Build often, but they still worked together. Or all the other similar examples through the past 18 series. Not counting Kuuga since Kuuga had no secondary. Might have a dash of Decade/Diend too. Where Diend often helped Decade, but was also antagonistic towards, but likely without the thief aspect.

Cool a Rider that can use the power of past Rider.. just like literally every other Rider in heisei 2nd phase, it doesn't feel exclusive anymore..

Well, Decade started that trend.

And while this may have been a norm for every season, it never took place in the season proper. It was always one of those, usually, non-canon extra things.

Okay, okay - just saying... Gates has a sleight build here and we know a girl from 2068 comes to warn Zi-O. Gates may be that girl.

I've been guessing Gates is the girl from the future, too. Gates has been heavily featured in promotional material, yet no reference is made to any specific character except Zi-O and the girl in the series synopsis. Just sticks out to me.
Not to mention Gates' belt says 2068.

And Gates is not a girl. Just look at the scans...

Eh, I mean that part is kind of subjective. Zi-O might not be a female, but I have to agree a lot of the scans do make Zi-O look oddly feminine without being a suit with breasts specifically included in the design.
