The newest Gangler demonstrates a sinister new power- shortening humanity's lifespan by turning everyone old! Meanwhile, conflict breaks out after a misunderstanding between the LupinRangers...

The episode was not bad, and I thought the strained parently relationship was done better than usual (and more believable, I think) but the continued focus on the lupins and neglect of the pats is really starting to bug me. I don't mind so much Yellow getting more focus on red, because if one team member gets a disproportionate amount of attention, at least it not being red is something different.

I think i’m the one person on this forum who’s perfectly okay with the Lupins getting the majority of the focus, heh.

At this point, Patrangers should have like five episodes for themselves down the road. Like, explanations why would there need to be Patrangers in the first place? Lupinrangers, I get it. They are agents of that shady old man who wants to collect the Lupin Artifacts.

So what are the Patrangers? Ganglers repellent? If yes, are their Lupin piece made by Noel (I think so?), if yes, why would Noel goes to Global Police instead of chasing the Gangler himself. His Pat/Lupin suit is stronger than either Lupin or Pat suits.

This Patranger background needs to be fleshed out a bit, maybe in three focus episodes.

This is a really good episode. The father-daughter relationship was done very well. Touma also get some development when he mentions how Aya's father blamed him for what happened to her, I hope there'll be an episode where Aya's father appears and confronts Touma again.

Am I the only one who thought Kogure would brainwash Umika's father when Kairi left them alone?

We need a few Tsukasa centric episodes where she goes undercover as a bikini model.

I hope this next episode reboots Keiichiro and removes the stick from his ass. He's way too uptight, but I guess that's the funny part about his character.

The look on the Pats faces when Noel told them they weren't fit to deal with the Gangler was just sad. Its like he told them they're not fit to be in the show when they're just mere extras. They're basically the good foot soldiers.

I'm a Lupin fan but I also feel sad for the Pats. I'm glad Tsukasa questioned why didn't Noel use the mechas himself, hope it will pave a way for the Pats to be more involved to the plot

I remember during the start of the show, some people thought the focus on the teams will eventually even out as the series progresses. But the show seems to have decided to purely focus on the Lupins with some Pats appearances.

The show really should have been just called Lupinrangers, like Hurricaneger with the Goraigers also appearing in the show but in no way in equal footing as the Hurricanegers.

Next episode actually more focused to Patranger than Lupinranger especially next epsiode is for Keiichiro's character development.

Like I said the show does throw in a few Patranger episodes in there, but all in all is still primarily focused on the Lupins.

That was a weird episode. It felt like there was a lot of stuff going on that never really went anywhere. The whole thing with Umika's dad worked, but it felt weird leaving... um... Green (I'm totally blanking on his name but will likely remember it after I post this) out of it since he's been creeping on Umika for the entire series.

I'm also not sure why they had the monster be able to make people age, but never used that power on one of the rangers. Any time a monster has some kind of gimmick like that it gets used on at least one of the main characters. But this time it was just a random ability that never really mattered.

The magic submarine is interesting, even if none of its abilities make sense with each other (magic + submarine + bow = huh?). I did like finally getting an add-on that gives the mech a different face; I look forward to seeing the Patrangers never get an equivalent mech. It was also cool to see Tsukasa continue to be the only Patranger with any form of critical thinking skills.

You know, I don't really like how Umika's dad got pissed at Kairi, not because of the 'lol overprotective dads' joke, I liked how they included Touma in that, but because Sakuya should get such treatment, I feel that could have added some extra comedic layers

Sakuya doesn't have a dad. Her grandad raised her and he's not the affectionate type. Which they spend some time telling us specifically about in detail.

At least the toyline cares about them.

That was alright. I like the new Dial Fighter.
Kind of infuriating that Noel considered the Patrangers unsuitable to fight the Gangler, also that he's technically a Lupinranger (As he made it very clear), so he's intentionally withholding from the Pats.

I was talking about how I felt Sakuya, the green guy, should have gotten attacked by the dad of the girl he stalks though?

It would've made for some easy comedy, too.
Umika's dad gracefully thanks the Patrangers, he returns to the bistro. Then Sakuya shows up at the bistro and starts macking on Umika. Dad thinks the noble cop is a playboy pig. Hilarity ensues.
However, that would involve giving screen time to the Patrangers, which is something they're desperately trying to avoid, it seems :lol

There was flaws in this episode yet I loved it. Soooo are we placing bets that Noel is a gangler?

Didn't Noel tell Kogure that he's trying to help complete the Lupin Collection because he lost someone, too?

I really bored to Gangler as villains in Lupinranger vs Patranger especially Zamigo. At first debut, he more likely are arch enemy for Lupinranger but he rarely show up in the show. The Ganglers mostly will be destroyed by both Sentai teams. I really want new villain in this series. Maybe the story will become more interesting if the writer are make another villains like corrupted humans (and can become monster) who really want to steal all Lupin Collections from Ganglers, Lupinrangers, and Patrangers.

Could of been a lie and if not then it doesn't mean the someone is human. With the way Noel has been they could go either way.

Somehow I think he lied about that.

I feel like they're trying to throw us off the idea track that Kogure is Arsene Lupin. Noel more than likely has a reason beyond just wanting to help one person.

For an episode that debuts a major new powerup for the Lupinrangers this just felt like yet another filler episode.

I don't think this show has many long term story beats it wants to tell so it settles for week by week episodes where the status quo is pretty much restored by the end of it. But throwing a new powerup in a filler episode is a no no imo.
