I don't like the wrenches for antennae. They couldn't even be clever with that design and give him, say, horn antenna that bore subtle resemblance to wrenches.

Zi-O II is created by a fusion of Watches from different worlds (timelines? Could also be tied to the mirror world though) and can control the past and future. It really sounds like a final form, although it isn't. I wonder what he is getting as a final form at this point.

Spoiler alert....you've already seen the suit. I'm sure it's probably a version of Oma Zi-O but without the gaudy gold overtones.

It's very unlikely the final and 'ultimate' piece of merchandise is going to be a repaint of an already existing suit.

Holy shit Kikai is a Guardian kitbash. That's actually fucking awesome

Don't forget Oma Zi-O is supposed to be weaker than Geiz Revive.

Kikai is a young "Mecha-Human" from the year 2121. The "Humanoids", mechanical life-forms with human-like appearance, rule over the world, and Kikai fights against them to protect the surviving humans.

Interestingly, this is the first time we actually get details about the villain one of these future Riders faces. There are no pictures featuring Kikai with the main cast at all though, so he might only appear in flashbacks when White Woz explains his power.

I like that mirror Zi-O's face and belt are mirrored from regular Zi-O. Nice touch for a character we'll likely not see again afterwards. Though this does beg the question, is mirror Zi-O gonna turn into the sword?

This is a small thing, but the coat sougo is wearing in the scans really helps his style.

I like how Zi-O II's helmet has a spartan aesthetic on it.

2121?!? Is Toei hoping for the franchise to stay for that long? Not that I'm denying the possibility of that happening.

Kikai looks pretty snazzy. Not as good as Shinobi, who could pass as a totally original Rider if it weren't for the Ex-Aid shoulder pads, but he still looks much better than Quiz!

I quite like how his plain dress outfit has a sort of coat/robe to add some flair to it. I've been enjoying, nay, loving Sougo's wardrobe from 16 on; prior to that, it was just an interesting quirk.

Sougo's is nice but personally I dig Kouta and Shotaro's wardrobe.

Kikai is from 2121 and he's the mechanic rider/engineer.

Wow, that new sword is a nearly-perfect crystallization of my modern Rider design pet peeves. When I very first got into toku, I remember looking at the weapons in Gokaiger and feeling faintly disappointed that they looked so much like toys. (In retrospect, they're way more plausible than a lot of what followed.) When I finally started Rider and saw Fourze, I found it immensely twee that the kids just happened to have a Fourze-shuttle-themed motorcycle lying around. (Amazons was even worse about this.)

Zi-O's upgrade sword has his helmet's face on it. I... I can't even. Goofy-in-a-bad-way. Kinda overshadows that the notion of the two swords combining is kinda neat.

Maybe I'm misremembering things, but didn't they say that the bikes were specially made for the rider in both scenarios?

In Fourze the bike was shuttle themed because it's supposed to work with the Power Dizer's launch pad mode. In Amazons, Haruka's bike is built by the Nozoma pharmacy because they already knew he was an human/amazon hybrid.

They didn't just happen to exist, they were made to be used by the riders either before or during the events of the show.

Kind of hoping Kikai gets a spin-off like Shinobi. I really like that premise for him.

And he finally stopped wearing those JNCO pants that makes it look like he's wearing a long skirt.

This sounds very interesting and very cool. Kikai are officially more interesting than Shinobi and Quiz in my opinion....

So the Earth in 2121 are in serious danger again just like when the Earth are ruled by Oma Zi-O....

I think all of Kikai's enemies is really similar to Roidmudes....
