Useless Riders
 

Ok, so was talking with a bud about Kabuto...and we decided that Drake had no purpose in that show. I mean none...Hopper Brothers, added character, plus the whole Thebee angle, check, purpose. Sasword, absolutely, especially in the end. But Drake? He didn't even help with the final fight...

So what other Riders do you think the shows could have lived with out?
I know for Ryuki, Imperer is my first thought...

Yeah, Kabuto and Ryuki both have a lot of junk Riders because of how many they have. By the end of Kabuto, Kabuto and Gatack are really the only two who are actually important to the plot. Ryuki, I think, handles most of its Riders better, but Scissors, Gai, and Imperor are all pretty throwaway in the end.

Shame, because I think Imperor had one of the best designs in Ryuki...

As for "Useless" Riders, because of how things changed, Diend. The story tweaks Decade received essentially made the character of Diend a pointless antagonist.

eh, Gai had his use, if anything just to show that Ouja doesn't mess around...Scissors, yeah...he was a lot of nothing...

DiEnd. Yes, I know, I voted for him alot in those KamenRiderOOO threads. But, for the most part, yea... he's useless in a straight fight.

G3 is more or less useless during the early episodes of Agito.


Birth is an interesting concept but he's more or less useless against the Greeed.

Scissors also had a purpose. He was a preview of things to come with other Rider's personalities and motivations, and the stakes of the Rider War.

I guess I should re-clarify what I meant by useless...as in had no purpose to the plot, or the show would have been the same with out him.

I nominate Onodera Yuseless. He was literally there to show how much lamer the rest of Heisei was to Decade.

As for useless riders, Scissors comes to mind.

Definitely not-Kuuga. He wasn't just the most useless part of Decade but he was also one of the most annoying parts.

Man, he's so useless I forgot he existed. :lol

Actually, he does have one use.
He makes one hell of a flail! :lol

oh almost forgot about the two other movie riders that weren't Caucusus...could have been just Kickhopper and Punch Hopper in the movie...even if just using the Zechters

kabuto was useless, wat would we have lost, kagami would be the star... oh wait he is the star.

Yeah, I mean, nothing would be lost if Kabuto was removed.
Except for, you know, Kagami.

I get that you don't like Kabuto. But don't become a raving idiot over it.

how would kagami be lost, if tendou didnt exist stupid plots like hiyori falling for her own brother would be lost. then leaning toward and honest to god relationship between kagami and hiyori building up over time. plus the fact that he can sense the worm is just stupid

Tendou didn't steal the hyper zector, at that point Zect had rigged the hyper zector with a bomb.

Oh, and for useless Riders: Nadeshiko!
