Somehow the monstrous Another Riders have returned- with a strange new figure in control of their powers. Who is this new opponent???

So there's a new guy...and we still don't know the schtick of time jackers

What schtick? Seems pretty well established.

Who are they, where did they get timestop powers, who's their leader, are they from an organization

We know Tsukuyomi and Geiz are from The Resistance, we know what they are here to do, we just don't know how Geiz got his belt.

I think the other unrevealed things is who is the creator of Ziku Driver and Beyond Driver? The other equipment like Time Mazines are more likely created by Resistances. Woz have some of Ziku Drivers but its still unknown if Ziku Driver is created by Woz or not......

I believe it was said that Geiz stole his belt?

An interesting episode. Cool to see some familiar faces return from earlier in the series. As for the plot, we are getting closer and closer to the fated Oma's day, which occurs around the same time as the abdication of the current emperor. Well timed for sure.

Some great moments this episode. I'm particularly interested in Hiryu Kakogawa/Another Zi-O, who has ties with Sougo in the past due a fatal bus accident. His power to turn into other past Riders is very reminiscent of Decade. And it's interesting that he is evenly matched with Sougo.

Also, he was added to the main cast page on the official TV Asahi website, so looks like he'll be around for a while. Which I'm fine with, since he's changing things up.

Next week: Geiz Revive! The orange version looks ugly but the blue form is looking pretty nice.

It was stated Geiz stole his Watches from Oma Zi-O. They didn't outright say the belt was stolen too, but it seems like a pretty clear connection. Oma Zi-O doesn't use the original Ziku Driver anyway.

Do you find it odd that there is a Watch called Geiz, is the name of the rider himself and is also stolen from Oma Zi-Oh?

Aren't the watches based off past riders?

Or was KR Geiz meant to be the genuine 2068 KR and Zi-Oh being the 2018 KR has gone that far into the future to screw around?

Not all Ridewatches are based off past riders (e.g. Miridewatches and Zi-O and Geiz's personal ones). When Sougo gets a blank Ridewatch and later on declares he'll be the greatest, kindest demon king, the watch activates and becomes the Zi-O Ridewatch. I assume it's the same for Geiz. Given that all Geiz cared about initially was to kill Sougo, I doubt he would've bothered to give himself a proper Kamen Rider name and just uses his own first name instead.

Oma Zi-O got it in the past when he fought Geiz who travelled back in time to kill Oma Zi-O with the Geiz watch he stole from Oma Zi-O who got the watch from when he fought Geiz in the past.

Classic bootstrap paradox.

That would be a cool twist but so far, Geiz has only said he stole the Ziku Driver and the Ghost & Drive Ridewatches. He mentions nothing of stealing the Geiz Ridewatch (the first of the Ghost/Decade tribute episodes is where this is mentioned). As I said above, it's most likely it was created via a blank Ridewatch.

However, a really cool twist would be that the Ziku Driver Geiz stole is in fact the same Ziku Driver that he would give to Sougo to replace the one the latter destroyed to try and prevent Oma Zi-O's future. Probably Oma Zi-O allowed him to steal it, knowing that latter on it would be given to his past self.

Broke: Geiz named his Rider form after himself.

Woke: The reistance stole the Ridewatch and named their Terminator-plan baby after it.

Okay hold up, in the Over-Time subs, and seemingly in the audio as well, Tsukujomi namedrops Another Woz as one of the another rider spotted.
what in the world is that about?

She clearly said it as well in english so it was not a mistake by over-time.

The fact she noted there was an Another Woz running around was pretty interesting, but clearly it is just the new character taking fragmented powers from previous another riders, meaning Another Woz could be a potential future kaijin.

This new character is a monster transformer as well, but not regarded as a rider I assume, which is funny considering the original series in a few ways.
Counts as a monster rider maybe.

Either way, clearly with the time jackers, maybe their god damn boss for all we know or someone clearly known by Schwartz since he evidently just gave him the Another Zi-O watch.

Overall, enjoyed the episode, but will need the next episode for a full judge since these god damn two episode formats means we need two episodes to judge a part fully -_-.... Why can they not let the idea rot in hell.....

Or Over-time just misheard "Another OOOs" much like they did back when the Ride HeiSaber was introduced and they subbed it as Hey OOO! instead of Hey Ghost, despite the fact that the sword goes in reverse order and Ghost comes before Drive, also Ghost's logo shows up.

Human mistakes.

Episode was pretty good, but boy am I sick of the Sougo and Woz vs The World plot line.

Very possible, even closing my ears it is hard to hear the overall difference.

That said, since Another Zi-O is a thing, I would not be surprised if eventually we have a Woz and Geiz Another, even if this is the result of misshearing.

Yeah I think she said Another OOOs which does sound like Another Woz. And we did see Another OOOs in the beginning so its more plausible that she said Another OOOs.

I mean... context alone makes it pretty obvious she said Another OOO and not anything else.

What!? No, it not time for- I mean I know you wanted to do the whole mirror match thing but- I just got done talking about how cool it was Sougo was only using Zi-O II! Another Zi-O even has two swords and can see the future, so there's even less excuse! I can't even be happy the default form showed up because it was just a second or two of CG! Everything about this is wrong!!!

Although, when that's my biggest problem, you know the episode has gotta be good. This is another one where there's actually a lot to digest so I'll probably forget to mention something. There's an insanely high level of cool stuff going on here. The overall dynamic of the main characters here was super fresh, first of all. Sougo and Woz have great chemistry together, so seeing Woz in a more active sidekick role is awesome. Geiz's strained relationship with Sougo was also surprisingly well conveyed just by simple stuff like him walking off after the mid-episode fight. After half a series of these guys constantly being around each other, the changes to the status quo lately really do stick out. It actually feels like everything is building to a breaking point.

Naturally I'm also excited to see what the deal with Another Zi-O turns out to be. The Time Jackers are still Boring (with a capital B, you'll note), so any villain who can provide some proper intrigue is more than welcome.

There are tons of minor things I love about this episode too. Mostly bits of cinematography that stuck out for whatever reason, like Sougo's dream (even if seeing a Rider protagonist fight someone knee-deep in water always reminds me of OOO), or even just seeing him and Woz watching that magic show (which mostly comes down to having more moody lighting than usual). I felt the background music here was used really effectively too, which I suck at describing, but it didn't feel like the total cacophony I often find modern Rider episodes border on.

Forget all that though. Obviously the only part of the episode that matters is that Sougo's parents dying in 2009 means it's legitimately plausible that this is somehow Decade's fault. :lol
