S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (DECADE Ver.)
 

Seems like there’s a reissue of the Shinkoccou Seihou Kamen Rider Kuuga coming in October 2019, although it is called the "Decade Version". So I guess it is meant to portray the character from that show.

Unless the accessory count varies it looks to be the same figure as the Shinkoccou Seihou though. So if you haven’t gotten that one yet, now’s your chance :)

Well, that's... interesting. The original only came with 3 1/2 additional pairs of hands too; so I can't imagine this would come with anything less? And what would it come with additionally, actually? Kivala???

Very weird news but not unwelcome.

It's been a while since I've seen Decade the show, but I can't really think of anything it could have to make it specifically represent that version of Yusuke.

Nice for anyone who doesn't have a Kuuga yet but wants one though.

Huh, interesting. Decade's Kuuga is the real reason I wanted the original release and was pretty satisfied with that. Can't imagine either what could be different.

But can't really argue against reissues of Seihous, they are totally worth if you missed them the first time around.

It could actually be that there's an optional Decadriver piece you could put on his waist instead of the Arcle.

I wouldn't mind it. It essentially still means a re-issue as I can't see them cutting out any of the few accessories he already had nor raise the price too much -- so basically you'd just be getting more stuff for a little extra money and you don't have to gut your Decade to have this as Tsukasa if you want. Win-win if that's how it's gonna go down

Eh... I guess this is pretty neat too, and I suspect this might hint at how they re-release some other Seihous as well (Kabuto, Hibiki)...

Weirdly enough, the official image Tamashii is using to "reveal" Seihou Decade Kuuga here, is a brand new shot that wasn't actually in the batch of images for the original release. It would be quite odd of them to do a new set of official images for this figure if there were indeed no changes. As we know in the case of straight up re-issues, official images are identical to the first release. There's a chance this one comes with some sort of new accessories, or else what exactly was the point of new images?

I don't know, these D-Arts Pokémon "reissues" also seem largely if not completely unchanged from the originals, yet they get a new name, packaging and stock images.

But let's wait and see, they never did something like this for Seihou’s before; there might be a unique catch to this version.

Technically incorrect, Kuuga himself also was reissued three months after his initial release, I think that was because his bike came out during that time so they gave the main figure another run.

The Pokemon ones are a pretty different scenario altogether though, because that could ultimately come down to Tamashii Nations not wanting to put the name of a dead line back on the shelves any more. From what I gather Mewtwo has a tweaked colour scheme, it’s just practically impossible to see without a direct comparison. The accessory at the very least is a different colour.

New accessory, new official images. My money is on the new Kuuga coming with a Decadriver. Because the though that it comes with something awesome like Kuuga Gouram FFR parts is too outrageous to be possible :(

I think all of the pokemon are different colors. It kinda boring releasing the same pokes again. With the amount of pokemon there are now they could release so many better ones.

So where is the kuuga photos for this release would like to see the difference anyone have a link?

The one in the first post, that little preview pic is all we've got so far.

It is and it's entirely new. It's a different pose and features totally different lighting than the original photos for the first release. I'm sure more will be released in the next week.

I still think the possibility is out there for stuff like Kivala, or maybe something absolutely insane like the GM-01! ... though if that happens, I'll even more desperately need Seihou G3-X

Yeah, that picture I posted lists all the retail releases for October that'll go live with the next pre-order drop. Except the Valkyrie robot, that’s a November release.

How does Kuuga get a Shinkocchou Seihou specifically from Decade, but we still don't have the Diend that was teased years ago?

Well I never got a Kuuga (I got Amazing Mighty, which I love, but would love his base form) so this is great.

While on the topic of a possible Kuuga Gouram, Decade really was truly worth Narutaki bellowing "ONORE DIKEIDO" in retrospect. Aside from cosplaying as his senpais, he temporarily mutates said senpais into weapons. That is some messed-up Junji Ito stuff.

Perhaps an alternate, unmorphed head for Onodera?
Since Kuuga's basic transformation does have his head form last? I dunno.

This is actually good for me as I can now get a SS Kuuga and not pay $300 for it on eBay.

Most likely Decadriver belt, or even Neo-Decadriver accessory.

It would be funny if they included those and an acrylic cutout of Momotaros in that sand spirit form. :lolol

There is the possibility that this might have a slightly different shade of red, to reflect how the Kuuga suit looks in Decade.

Huh. Now that you mention it, that lower part of his chest does have an orange tint where the gold trim is supposed to be for rising mighty.

Same accessory count as the original release, no obvious difference in the paint scheme. Maybe a different shade of red? Although it's difficult to judge based on promotion pictures.

Seems like a rebranded reissue to me, which is what I expected. Pre-orders open June 3rd in Japan, 6050¥.

Well that was all weirdly misleading, but whatever! More Kuuga in people's lives can't be a bad thing. I wonder if this will be followed up by reissues of Kuuga's other forms.

Yeah, definitely a different red. When somebody brought up those differences, figured it was going to be that then. Nice thinking there. ;)

Definitely don't need this just for that, but still super worth it for anyone that missed the original release since it's still not that different.
