AIMS has launched a full investigation into Hiden Intelligence- and the lead officer has a surprising connection to Izu.

Poor izu, she get jealous of detective guy, especially the end part. where she insisted Aruto to use shining hopper pk.

Ah yes, the good old "Watch the transformation but wait until next week to see the suit in motion"-kinda debut. A true classic of the genre.

Anyways, I like Shining Hopper a lot already. The Henshin sequence is dope, I like how the key is lifted into the sky and turned to "unlock" the transformation.

Also, please continue to deliver every new upgrade via Izu entering the scene calmly walking at high-speed, stopping the momentum with her heels, all accompanied by the most generic car braking noise. Because I can't get enough of that.

So,

why does the detective old-type humagear have the mammoth progrise key?

He didn't have the Mammoth key.

During the fight we see Aruto pull out the Mammoth key ready to activate it, only for Ansatsu to reach out and smack it out of Aruto's hand. I figured we're meant to assume the detective ran over and picked it up off the ground.

Also, while I'm here I'd like to clear up something that's been going around the forums.

Fuwa doesn't need Yua's permission to unlock his ProgRise Keys, the problem is that he's doing the henshin sequence wrong.
Notice how Yua lets her ShotRiser "Autorise" her key before attempting to open it?

I just hope in later episodes, Fuwa will learn to Henshin correctly and learn to let his anger go too.

I've seen people point that out but more as a joke than anything. They do it in different ways for variety's sake. I really doubt we're expected to believe Fuwa is just doing it wrong this whole time.

Oh Shining Hopper, you're such a tease.

Who knew Ansatsu would be the one to give Horobi problems.

And why didn't that grasshopper break the ceiling of Arutos' office? It did the mangaka's house.

Shining hopper form might be my favorite upgrade since kachidoki arms

edit: forgot to add, Shinning Hopper looks cool. The effect of the muscles bulging out was a pretty good one. Looking forward to seeing it in action next week.

Shining Assault Hopper also looks good with the additional combination of red and blue.

Oh, and Kachidoki, the only upgrade form that makes the final form looks like a downgrade. :D

So basically to make uber Magia you need to make them killed multiple times, accumulate their experiences, and let them awaken by that.

I wonder if Horobi is still going to corrupt conscious developing HumaGears after this...

He would still do that, since uber Magia does not listen to him anymore. Fresh Magia doesn't

An episode of Zero-One prominently featuring a detective turns out to be written by Riku Sanjou? That sure Wazu a surprise!

And that's how you know it's... still not Yuuya Takahashi!

I'm pretty okay with this, though. Not only is that Masaya Kakehi guy doing good, apparently we're getting an all-star lineup of veteran Rider writers with proven track records. I know Kobayashi largely stopped doing the whole guest writer thing after Boukenger, but here's hoping!

Optimistic, I know, but it's hard not to be when this episode was so good. The thing that immediately jumped out at me is that all five of the Riders got something to do. It feels like the kind of move made specifically because this was someone new to writing the show, who probably wanted to play with all the toys in the box right away. It's crazy busy, and intensely fun in that way I've never seen anyone but Riku Sanjou be. The whole idea of Zero-One going on the run is a great, high concept kind of premise, and it becomes that much more entertaining when it starts with Aruto casually transforming in the middle of his office and announcing his Rider suit is his "work clothes". The fact that he isn't even lying about that only makes it even funnier.

I also feel like this episode righted one of Drive's wrongs after all these years by explicitly showing the grasshopper materializing in the room, making it clear Aruto isn't necessarily destroying a ceiling every time he transforms indoors. Unlike in Drive, where I have no reason to believe those tires weren't smashing through countless walls to get to Shinnosuke from wherever the Tridoron was at the time. Just a minor point, I guess, but I don't know, the episode that shows this being from Drive's writer makes it seem like more than an accident.

To think of it, Horobi could be a Uber Magia, multiple ressurections make him rebellious.

I suspect his rebelliousness has something to do with his earpiece being forcefully removed.

I honestly hope he keeps doing that for the rest of the show, adds to the uniqueness. I wonder how hard he'll open the Assault Wolf key.

Maybe he'll need to hit it with something to loosen it first. And maybe one episode he'll whack it on the Magia-of-the-week's head! :lol Okay probably not, but I can dream.
