Aruto must master the power of Shining Assault Hopper to stop Jin's rampage.

Wow. That fight between Shinning Assault Hopper vs Jin was so cool. Definitely a strong debut for the form.

Gai Amatsu is really cocky isn't he? I feel that he would really make a good villain. I can't wait to see how Aruto will put him in his place.

This is one of Memorable Episode of Zero one, the Fighting Scene is superb also I assume Shinning A. Hopper is far superior because don't have drawbacks...
and Yes all MBJ.Net and Daybreak incident is all His Plot

I cant wait for all the other riders work together and beat the hell of Thousar, probably with their next upgrade keys.

This is another episode directed by Shoujirou Nakazawa, which definitely shows in how crazy the fight between Zero-One and Jin gets. It's awesome.

The episode a whole I think left us on a pretty good note for the year. More than anything, I'm just happy my faith that Yuuya Takahashi isn't stupid enough to think he can pull a Lazer twice was rewarded. Although for all I know that's only because this episode didn't actually air on Christmas.

Either way, it's a much less depressing holiday season than in Ex-Aid, but just like that show, it feels like the definitive end of a chapter. Obviously Horobi is still going to be around in some capacity, and I kind of doubt we've heard the last of Jin, but they aren't driving the plot anymore. Instead, we've got a rival CEO bringing his 1000% obnoxious attitude to taking on Hiden Intelligence for... reasons, I guess.

Presumably his motivations will get fleshed out as we go along, but I have come around to the idea of Gai. His arrogance is sort of comical, but the fact that he's getting results makes it easy enough to take him seriously, and I'm all over the idea of the other CEO Rider who is also Aruto's evil mirror counterpart. It may be a source of (unintentional?) humor, but the absurd amount of cockiness he displays really drives home how little he thinks of people who aren't himself, in contrast with Aruto, a guy so humble and easy to get along with, he regularly thanks robots just for doing their job.

I still want to believe that Metsubojinrai.net will somehow come out on top of this. Like, Gai obviously believes he was the puppeteer and they were his puppets, I want it to be the other way around. They pretended to be puppets so they could have Gai work towards their own goal.

If I'm correct, Zaia wants to "enhance" humans instead of manufacturing robots, so they effectively create cyborgs, right? What if the ark wants to let him do that, and they install a little Order 66 program into every single unit, which means, once all of humanity is “enhanced” – complete extinction at the press of a single button.

Personally I would like that we have Zaia as an enemy for now but Metsubojinrai.net will return eventually, alongside their last currently unknown member.

Anyway, I skimmed through the episode as I will watch it with subs later, but the action was impressive. At least Jin got to do a single finisher before he was defeated :lol

Sounds like a Shodan situation actually, this could get quite interesting.

Well they went through a lot of trouble to establish there are four of them, thematically named. That is not something they'd throw out there unless they planned on doing something with it later. So not, we are not done with them.

I assume Jin is sleeping in the Flying Falcon key, maybe he comes back with a zero one driver.

There is a rumor that Amatsu Gai and Hiden Aruto are both clones of Hiden's founder. So next arc would be about clonings and human enhancements.

Not a fan of the neon green + dark blue color scheme on Shining Assault Hopper but the design overall is . . .

So many finishers. I wished they don't keep freezing frame for every single finishers for dramatic effects. Kind of take you out. Jin out, Horobi awakes. Kind of the opposite from rumors and build up of making jin to be the special one. Well, he still got more rumors.

Someone spoiled the crossover movie might be trolling or get retcon about some possible tie in relationship. Maybe alternate past.

Lazer was underused and the most impact was his "death." So far 01 both upgraded forms got more budget and flashier action sequence and power than fuwa. Ironically, his was tie to the arc. If 01 shining is 500% then whats assault version of it like 800%. Thosuer is 1000%. It's new version of levels meter.

So it's revealed Zaia, or more specifically Gai was responsible for the Ark. Zaia was the company that created the Ark's AI, and Gai made it study criminal psychology and humanity's lust for war. Ultimately driving it into concluding that humanity must be destroyed, resulting in the Ark creating MetsuBoJinRai as a result.

While this does bring some credibility to Gai's cockiness for thinking he's smarter than everyone because he was apparently able to plan out the past 16 episodes. I doubt he'll be in control forever, and as such I'm actually interested to see how he reacts when it all goes south for Zaia.

I am guessing he will go down the Azula from Avatar route of crazy as he kills people and destroy the city blaming Aruto for everything wrong even though it will be all Gai's fault. Either that or impalement.

IMO freeze frame stuff is just personal taste either hate it or love it

He convinced the Ark that humans should go extinct, when both he and the people he plans to rule over are human. I'll assume part of his plan involves either keeping the Ark under control or getting rid of it once he no longer needs it, since he'd have to be a complete fool to not take that into account, but I'm 1000% sure it's going to backfire on him somehow.
