Well, this is very neat.

It looks so damn good. Always been a favorite of mine. Will be real tempted to pick this up. (Although that makes it even rougher than Bluefin I believe can't bring these over anymore..)

Google Translate may be failing me, but it looks like the end of the article is teasing LinerBoy, presumably so like the Megaranger, Jetman, etc. super minipla, Victory Robo will be able to assume its upgrade form. (I suspect this also means the next Sentai to get the Super Minipla treatment won't be announced for a while. Even though the original minipla was surprisingly good, I'm still hoping for GekiTouja.)

Now give us Minipla Grand Liner/Supertrain Megazord!

Oooh, definitely excited for this one. This was one of the mechas I always wanted as a kid but never got. Instead I got the Super Train megazord which I also wouldn't mind having in Minipla form. haha.

I was almost hoping this was cancelled, because SMP is overpriced as hell, but it's like my favourite Megazord ever. :<

The poll at the top of the page seems to indicate that Super Minipla Gaoranger might be likely...

I've been pretty good at passing on these so far, but this set looks pretty tempting. Not an instant buy like a Zeo/Ohranger set would be, but definitely something to think about.

The only way to do this set justice would be by making an epic diorama. :rock:

The Tamashii Act Building sets would probably work really well with this in terms of a display.

The more I look at this, the more excited I am. Lightspeed Rescue/GoGoV are easily among my favourite Sentai mechas ever. They're classic looking but badass, and have that great techy detail and feel to them that makes them seem huge and powerful. I'd collected a whole set if I could. (and provided they make Max Solar/Linerboy and the Omega Megazord) Terrifying for my wallet, exciting for my shelves. Only thing that could be better is if they made...

It looks so cool! Victory Robo is one of my favourite Sentai robots. I wish the Super Minipla stuff wasn't as expensive as it is...

I'd better start looking at a career that actually pays money, then.

Anybody know why Super Minipla and even regular minipla are expensive as fuck? I want Kishiryuoh but he's more expensive than a typical Real Grade.

How much do these usually run?

That looks awesome, but I've never seen the series and I refuse to let myself buy every SMP that comes out - I'm limiting myself to only the shows I really like

Personally for their size, they can be pricy. A box set could go for at least $35 USD or higher for regular retail and Premium Bandai stuff can go even higher, say $110 USD. Old school minipla used to be the cheap stuff sold at supermarkets made with cheaper materials and simpler parts. Super Minipla basically cranked the quality up to 11 and made it VERY high-end in comparison by providing more intricate parts, relatively better quality materials, better posability, advanced ingenuity for replicating gimmicks, etc.

Not to mention SMP always features some prepainted parts. That doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when you realize Plamo traditionally has zero painting involved in production, suddenly it’s not just anew cost, it’s an entire other process each unit needs to go through.

Ehh, I expected this to be expensive because Super Minipla. Would be one epic diorama though if someone created a scaled-down disaster scene diorama where they set it up so that the Grandliner opens all its doors and the 99 Machines are being deployed amidst the chaos. :rock:

Hopping on, I have to get this because MUH TRAINZ but also, $132 for the BIGGEST robot, not to mention a carrier zord? For how high-quality Super Minipla is (higher than Gunpla) I expect to get solid plastic, and since my local B&N was selling the Shogun and Ninja Megazords for a hundred apiece... not that pricey to me.

I was down to get GrandLiner. Then I saw the price.
I literally just got TE-OP 1 for less than that, good lord :lol

Well, unlike Kakure Daishogun, which is one of my favorite mechs of all time, thus making it difficult to pass up, this one is kind of an easy pass. I'll appreciate the GoGoV stuff from a distance :lol

Considering how King J-der was done (mostly PS, not ABS) don't expect plastic akin to other SMP for this.

No it is not. Grades go by complexity, not just size, and even so Grand Liner is much larger than your average 1/100 Gunpla, and certainly less elaborate than a Master Grade.
