Update: Soul of Chogokin GX-33R Leopardon confirmed! A reissue of the original, but includes a full-sized Spider Bracelet! September release, 20000 yen.

I can die in peace knowing that Supaidman and his mech now have their own figures. Hope it's a regular release tho. And yes, that's a reissue along with the Gigi Bracele- I mean the Spider Bracelet.

Yeah that particular Leopardon is a new release. It has the "R"-suffix, GX-33R, they've done that with SOC updates lately. Basically if the figure has any changes to its original version (new colors, accessories) it gets an "R" after the number. Which means this will be different from the original in some form.

Anyway, Toei Spider-Man hype, I need all of this stuff.

Oh I get it; the Spider Bracelet is included because the Spider-Man figure originally included is now obsolete thanks to the SHF Spider-Man.

This is al stuff I need, but will never be able to afford. Which sucks ass.

There is, more or less, "confirmation", that the Toei Spider-Man will appear in the next Spider-Verse Movie, and I was hoping for a Hasbro-produced iteration of Leopardon during that time, but this version does look pretty good and probably better than anything Hasbro would release for mass-retail in the States!

In addition, it would also be nice if Toei made a deal with someone, SHOUT! or Mill Creek or Disney+, and re-release the Toei Spider-Man so we can enjoy that as well

A whole lot more expensive though! Maybe Hasbro will make something as well; more chances for different types of collectors are always welcome.

Home media releases would be sweet but Disney+ sounds like a good start! On the other hand - the series is quite "controversial" considering Spider-Man wields guns in this and that blood and minor gore sometimes happen. Plus on screen child abuse. Don’t know how Disney+ handles that sorta thing, my guess would be to not show it at all.

Marvel and Disney evidently care about the series as many Spider-Man writers have wanted to include Leopardon and recent entries over the past couple of years are seemingly indicative of this.

I also remember a time when the series or some of its episodes were available through Marvel.

Streaming has its advantages, but if Disney is hesitant, then a physical release meant more for collectors might be the next best option.

I'm also noting how Marvel seemingly has no qualms about doing Ultraman comics, which suggests their receptiveness toward a tokusatsu adaptation based on an older show which might have dated elements.

Maybe Marvel could release a series based on the Toei Spider-Man and Leopardon rather than leaving him constrained to a crossover!

Also, haven't there been a few interdimensional Spiders in Marvel comics which use arms or less hesitant to use arms?

That’s true. Wasn’t there also a cute convention-exclusive Hot Wheels car based on Japanese Spider-Man’s ride not too long ago? They’re definitely acknowledging the character today more than ever before.

Oh for sure. The issue at hand as I see it is that once they release the series digitally people will let their children watch it because it's Spider-Man, Mom goes to the kitchen to grab herself a snack then comes back to witness little Bobby sitting in front of the TV watching Spidey do this:

Since Disney+ isn’t out around here yet I don’t know how age-restriction works there. And even if it does, I think this is more of an image thing, to not show this particular Spider-Man.

But maybe I'm thinking about it too much.

Anyone know the specific magazine that this announcement was released in? I'd like to track one down and purchase.

Whoa spidy used guns in this show wow I had no idea. I always wondered what is different from toei spider man and this sounds really cool. Did anyone ever sub the show cause I might want to get this. This feels like a rider version of spidy and that robot transform neat.

Do when know when pre-orders should be expected? I don't wanna miss out on Spidey himself. I'm assuming since we're also getting SNS ads from Bandai's accounts that we should expect them by sometime this week at the very least.

It doesn't end there - our "Spider-Man", Takuya, is a young motocross driver who is chosen by a dying alien from planet Spider to carry out his vengeance against the Iron Cross Army who destroyed planet Spider and are now trying to invade Earth.

Takuya recieves the Spider Bracelet and with it a blood transfusion from the alien, gaining his powers. And he also inherits his spaceship, the Marveller, which as we all know transforms into Leopardon.

It's... pretty wild to say the least :lol

The show is fully subbed, although I don't know which group did it (or if it was Marvel themselves as they aired it online) you can easily find it.

Leopardon is what I want.

I've always liked the look of Leopardon, but I've never understood the "leopard" part of the theme.

Really glad I managed to get this ordered. With him supposed to appear in Spiderverse 2, I definitely want him on my growing Spiderverse-ish shelf with my MCU Spideys, PS4 Spidey, and Miles & Peter B Parker.

Leopardon was actually named after the tank, presumably because it sounded powerful and cool. Of course, that still doesn't explain the literal cat head, so...

If I remember correctly Leopardon was supposed to be used for another show but that fell through and was given to Spiderman.
